They also hang out around the city a lot. Marco and Pablo are often joining, along with other friends. One of their favorite places is the karaoke bar at Spice Market.
They are very social and meet new people all the time. Here Beatrice is meeting some interesting new friends while buying a late night snack.
In order to find out if last night's events is the beginning of something more, Marte invites Marco out to the park the next day to get to know him better.
After talking for a bit, they discover that they don't get along as smoothly as they did last night. The conversation becomes rather awkward.
Marte is a romantic who doesn't give up hope easily, so she tries a bold gesture. She does not succeed.
Oh dear! This is so embarrassing It looks like their laid back and friendly neighbor relationship is gravely ruined.
Marco leaves the date as quick as he can.
And Marte has to eat her lunch alone, a little more experienced in the complicated ways of love.
Beatrice has had a bad date too. She invited over this cute guy she met, baked cookies and everything, and in the middle of the movie he starts acting like a jerk. Beatrice is not the kind of girl who accepts being treated like that, so that date ended very abruptly.
But luckily there are many nice guys they haven't ruined their relationship with. Pablo still comes over to play foosball all the time, and brother/cousin Marco visits as often as he can. He really wants to move to the city as well.
All of Gabriella's children have been incredibly well behaved lately. When they come home from school they all sit down together and do their homework before dinner.
If they don't have homework, they'll often play a game of don't wake the llama together.
The parents are overjoyed with their well behaved kids. They're both busy with two jobs each, so they need all the peace they can have to get all the cooking and cleaning done.
Today it's extra important to have a nice family dinner, because Terje is becoming a teenager!
The cats are easy to entertain. Sadly, this was the last picture taken of Aaron alive.
One morning Gabriella notices Aaron is not in the house, which is not unusual since he's a free spirited former stray cat who does whatever he wants. But when she's on her way to the vet clinic, she discovers him laying dead on the sidewalk.
She's devastated. A couple of neighborhood strays join in on her grieving.
She doesn't open the clinic that day. She spends the morning in the harbor, getting some time alone to think.
The first date went well, and the second too. They haven't kissed yet, but Terje is thrilled just to be this close to her.
It's almost a miracle that Agnes manages to drag him with her to the island one afternoon to go fishing. His mind is probably elsewhere, though.
Little Kari seems to have inherited her mother's temper. Gabriella was quite a hot headed child, and so is her youngest daughter. There are many mornings when she comes stomping into the kitchen, already in a bed mood before the day has even started.
Luckily, her father knows how to calm her down and cheer her up before she goes to school.
The vet clinic is still doing well, they have a steady income. Gabriella works at her fundraising every other day, and at the clinic every other day. Aleksander has to work Monday through Friday at the newspaper - but sometimes he takes a day off to help Gabriella at the clinic.
Terje has started inviting Uma home, he's getting more confident about his connection to her and is not nervous about his family seeing them together. Gabriella is happy to see that her son has found love.
They have to get out of the house when they want privacy, though. Terje is taking her on an evening walk in the harbor.
And there, finally, they kiss. These kids grow up so fast!
They decide it's time to have a proper date, one that will make them feel like grown ups. So they dress up, go to the B&B at the island and have dinner on the terrace.
They're officially a couple now. It's so exciting!
It's spring, and Maria had decided to start growing flowers. She's skilled in gardening already from caring for the fruit trees and vegetables, but she's never grown flowers before.
On the second floor, where Vetle and Mariana's bedroom used to be, the siblings have established a studio for Victoria and Tony's painting and Maria's new flower arranging hobby.
With the large windows, the house has a new modern twist at the back.
Marco and Ofelia stay a little longer after the others have left, to get some privacy. They push each other on the swings for a while, and then they finally have their first kiss!
When Marco finally arrives home, he realizes he's missed curfew and his mother is furious. She refuses him to use computers for the following day. Which isn't too bad, because everything Marco wants to do these days is hang out with friends at the park.
It's almost Egg Day, and Maria is looking in Marco's old room (which is now kind of a storage room) for some decorations. The house is looking pretty nice!
All the portraits of the siblings have a new place in their most recently renovated bathroom.
Egg day! They are spending the whole day in the park with friends and family. Maria has baked lots of delicious food, and they have a wonderful time with water fun, egg hunting and great conversation.
They also talk and sing with the Flower Bunny. It's a successful holiday for everyone!
The next morning Marco slips out quite early, but stops by his mother's flower garden to harvest some daisies. He has a secret breakfast date...
But it's not Ofelia! It's Samantha Bjergsen, one of the girls who were at the skating park the other day. Marco is very much aware of his good looks and couldn't resist the temptation to go on a date when he had the chance. Let's hope Ofelia doesn't hear about this!
She appreciates the flower a lot.
They have a nice and romantic breakfast and get to know each other a little better.

And so one morning Lena returns from the bathroom bringing the news that she's pregnant!
Lena can't wait to have a baby, but for now she enjoys helping her little sister with school projects as long as she has the chance.
Marte's birthday is already here, and she's planning to move out and let Lena and Dehlia use her room as the nursery.
Now she lives in an apartment in San Myshuno together with her cousin Beatrice. There are two boys living next door to them, this is Pablo.
And this is Marco. That's a fine first impression they've given him...
Well, it seems they have nice and helpful neighbors and will have a good time here.

Beatrice is trying to have a career in social media, so she's invested in a fairly good computer and is updating her profiles often.
Marte is trying to be a comedian. She's writing a lot of comedy routines she's hoping to perform professionally.
They hang out with the neighbors a lot already, sometimes in the boys' apartment and sometimes in their own.
They are very social and meet new people all the time. Here Beatrice is meeting some interesting new friends while buying a late night snack.
They've invited both friends and family, and it doesn't take many guests to fill up their small living room.
Oh! Look who's busy making out in the corner as the party is coming to an end.
Maybe Marte is falling in love with Marco? He seems to like her.

It doesn't take long before Marte spots a cute guy on the dance floor.
They haven't chatted very long before she decides to invite him back home. She's tired and juiced, but he does not object.
When Bea gets up the next morning, she's not surprised to meet a stranger in their living room.
It's so good to see you, big sis!
Lena has given birth to a beautiful boy. His name is Timothy Arnold Justøy, and Marte is so proud to meet him.
Ah, it's great to be home once in a while. The big city is exciting and fun, but also exhausting. And she's been missing the food.

He's a lot more moody and reluctant to eat with the family.
The rest of the family just pretends not to notice his sulking.
He's at his most cheerful when he's alone in the garden. He loves caring for the plants and watching them grow.

Gabriella has gotten over the worst sadness and is trying to focus on other things.
Terje is definitely focused on other things. His childhood friend Uma has agreed to go on a date with him!
They know each other well already, but it still feels like they've barely just met now that they've become attracted to one another.

Ofelia doesn't seem thrilled about the new girls that have arrived and are eager to talk to Marco.
Maybe that's why she's being much more forward than usual.
They end up roller skating until sundown again, but Marco is careful not to miss curfew this time.
