Toddler fathers won't leave!

I'm sorry if there's already a thread about this and feel free to post a link if this thread already exists.
I'm trying to have a single mother. With the first baby as soon as she aged into a toddler the father was coming over uninvited and walking into the house like he owned it. There was no option to ask him to leave and he stayed for days. I eventually locked him out of the house but he just appeared inside the house again a few days later despite locking all doors. I eventually had to kill him to get him to leave them alone. Resetting him did not work. Traveling with him and leaving him somewhere also didn't work, he would just show up a couple hours later.
I thought maybe this was just a fluke because when I tried to reset him the first time through the resetsim cheat he couldn't be found (I had to testing cheats click and reset) and when he died there wasn't a tombstone. So I saved, exited and repaired my game. 2nd baby with a different father. As soon as he was aged into a toddler the father showed up and walked into the home unannounced just like the first one and there still isn't an option to ask to leave.
I don't know if it matters but I don't use any mods and I'm not in a habit of cheating. HELP IT'S SO ANNOYING!

Try adding him to a group with your sim, and then see if the option to ask him to leave appears.

@joseandchocolate Hahaha! It's annoying to have to take the time to kill them even! They just take up space in my house and make time go by slower!

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if it still is occurring.

It's only the father's of the toddlers that do this and not any other random sims. I'm thinking this is a parenthood issue.
If the father continues to walk around unclothed , try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder

It is an issue that just occurs when the child is a toddler. It is good that the toddler in your game has now aged up to becoming a child.

As you posted, the ssue is a result of the other parent still considered a caregiver, and is resolved once the toddler ages up,

It is good to work what occurs, into the background story of your sims.
It can cause issues when it occurs though.

It is a great helpful workaround , to get the " ask to leave " option to appear. Doing this wil help others with this issue.
