How does the pickpocket trait work? Do I have to do anything, or does it only work during social events? And who can i pickpocket? Any sim (including my own), npcs or sims, or only other players sims?

Hello
The sim will pickpocket other Sims themselves during social interactions and events. You don’t need to actively direct your sim to pickpocket.
What are the best hobbies and careers to gain useful skills for parties? I’ve noticed my sim with cooking skill is in demand at most parties but my other sims rarely are. Which other hobbies and careers would be good to focus on?

Hello
The notification in the parties section for sims that are suited to attend, shows that there are career or hobby items at the party venue that your sim who also has that hobby /career can interact with. It depends if the party venue has bought and put out any of the career and hobby themed items on display. The medical and fashion careers and the guitar hobby are good for parties also.

So I guess my question becomes what career/hobby items do most people put in their homes? I guess I will focus on cooking/medical/fashion careers and cooking/guitar hobby.
Does anyone know when will I be able to retire a sim? I feel like I don't wanna play with one of my sims anymore but the pop up question hasn't come yet. Are there some stages/steps I need to fulfil first to get the retirement option? Thx.

Hello @Elau
You need to have reached level 16 in the game, and your sim has to have 4 traits. Keep having your sim take part in career, relationship and hobby events, and eventually the game will notify you that they have the option to retire.

I'm on level 28 and all my three sims have 4-5 traits already :/ I have retired sims earlier ofc but now I really want to retire this one sim...ugh
Hi! I also have a question, I aged up one of my sims to an adult (her parents have brown and black hair), and I made her playable. She has a hairstyle I have never seen, which is a mostly black, shaggy long-ish pixie cut with a mint green and slight blue ombré at the tips. Basically, it’s a hairstyle I don’t have. I went into the sim editor to see if I could change it, and it told me that if I changed her hair, I would not be able to get her existing hairstyle back. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or how often it occurs.
Does anyone see their retired or moved out sims around town? I've retired my first gen sims, and moved out one of their kids, but I never see them and there's no way to interact with the elder ones.
And how many sims are you allowed in a household at one time?

Hello @JelloShrimp
The hairstyle that your sim has is unlocked at a later level. When you reach that level, you will have the option to pay simcash to use it for your sims.

Hello @MayaRose1138
After a few days has passed after retiring your sims, an icon appears over their head. When you press the icon, they say goodbye and you don’t see them again,
You can have 4 playable sims if you have unlocked the 4 slots, and you can have 8 NPC sims in the household.

Argh, if I'd known that, I wouldn't have moved out my third sim! And my two playable ones could have had more kids . Oh well, now I know for the third generation. .
Do you know why the sims that are simply moved out rather than retired don't appear in the portrait? I was hoping that would act as a family tree but my sim isn't there. Her parents are, and her sisters will be because they're playable, but not her.
Also, would it be possible to move my sim back in? If she became good friends with one of her sisters, could she move in again?
Hello
I don’t think that there is an option to move a sim into the household, unless it is a romantic relationship. You could though press the portrait photo, and see if the sister may still be there, and can move back in.

There doesn't seem to be any option as she doesn't appear in the portrait. But maybe she might appear once her first sister has retired and moved out.
Hi again! :D I feel like when I get an answer to one question, another one comes to my mind! Lol.
So, if I have completed a career story and I decide to start that same career again with another sim, do I loose the progress of that career (does the closed book become open again? Do I loose the clothes I earned...etc)? Thx.

Hello @Elau
If you do the career again, the second sim needs to start at the first level of the career again. The clothing that you have unlocked will remain unlocked though.
Hi, my sims can’t find any adult npc in town, they’re all elders. Are they going to disapear one day and let a new wave of young npc appear?
Hello
When simmers retire their own sims and promote new sims to their playable slots there should be new NPC that appear. It may help to have your sims attend parties, then add the sims at the parties to your contacts list . You can then choose them later on to socialise with your sims
Hello: I’m sort of new to the game. Please help me figure out th marriage/edding party. I have two sims in the same household (a male and a female) who have advanced to level 7 in a romantic relationship (fiances/lovers stage) I also have all the decorations for a wedding party but it will not let me host a wedding party. What else am I missing? Thanks.

Hello
Has one of the sims proposed to the other sim? If they have and they are now a fiancé, they may still need to wait until level eight before having a wedding party. I am not sure.
