2014 and early 2015 is probably the best time of my life. I started to gain more confidence and wasn't as shy as I had been before. Unfortunately a lot of things changed for the worse after summer 2015
On a personal level, 2013, because it was my first full year of college, first full year out of secondary school and I think the first time in my life I had real friends. It wasn't perfect of course, but judging how rubbish the rest of the decade has been it was sort of the sweet year between poop and more poop
In terms of just world events and stuff though, I have nooo idea.

It's interesting, I've asked this other places and a lot of people seem to have very fond memories of 2015, but I thought 2014 was way better. It felt like my life went to hell in summer of 2015 and didn't return until last fall. I feel for ya lol
There were several memorable years for me in the past decade, but my favorites were probably 2011 when I graduated from University and 2016 when I became self-employed and got my dream career.
In 2011, I graduated from college with a 4-year degree in business management. I worked for a number of months for a temporary work agency, but was unable to get hired for a full-time position anywhere.
Since I was very young I had always wanted to become a hair stylist, so I decided to go back to school at the beginning of 2013 to get my cosmetology license. In May of 2014, I graduated and was certified as a cosmetologist. Later that year, I got my first job working full-time styling, coloring, and cutting hair.
In late 2016, I was finally able to rent my own space at a salon which is where I'm still working right now. It's really nice to be able to set my own hours and have my own clients. I also get to work in the same salon as my best friend who I first met in cosmetology school (back in 2013). This is especially nice since we style, cut, and color each other's hair every so often which saves us both a significant amount of money.
Was the best year in my opinion besides having a few bad income problems and being extremely exhausted because of the heat.It wasn't too bad.
Plus I also gave birth to my daughter in my home state and got to see my grand father before he passed. It was a pretty good year.

It really wasn't exactly a great year either. It was just the first not horrible year in... longer than I realize. It was okay.
I'd sooner pick 2018 as the best tho.
