Before friendsfan argues about me changing my avi, there's a reason....
I was thinking of my grandma and kinda missing her so I changed my avi to a two headed llama 'cause one of the last conversation I remember having with her was on the original dr dolittle and the two-headed llama. So, making myself feel better. (Yes, that's a CAP lhama. XD )

Okay. You know I'm terrible at staying away from here. But, to be honest, this is probably the most welcoming thread I've ever been a part of. You're all awesome.

If you're wondering what sparked this... (you can read the spoiler. It's a mini story not really sim related.)
...went on another forum that I haven't been active on in like a year (not a sim one) and it's soooo dead. XD It made me miss hanging out in here. So, yeah. I'm back to share appreciation for you all. Also, the loading speed on this forum is great. Appreciation for that too.

I feel ya. After spending a few years in a game community with a toxic player base, I appreciate this forum so much the more for the lovely people here. You're awesome too :)

    Thanks!

Also, I've decided a semi-hiatus is better for me. Simlit is my output for all stress and stress is going to be me all the time. XD I'll be online whenever I have spare time. Like right now. XD

bugsie is still crossing her fingers simlit will be on her exams. :):p

Gosh I wish they were. What a fun exam that would be. XD

what are you studying. i might be wrong bt when bugsie first said something about needing to study you did too.

I'm a uni student, studying English and Drama. Not sure what I said I needed to study. It was probably an assignment I had to finish. I have a couple this week. Finished two. Got one to go. XD

i just said studying so you would know what i meant.

Hmm, I don't remember that, not that Cog has great memory for things. :D When was this?

i don't remembr probably one of the nights you bugsie and i were on late.

    Thank you @OJenn, @friendsfan367, @simscognito, @Jes2G, and @pronterus for the job congrats.

To answer what I will be doing, I am working with a nonprofit organization creating their marketing and communications plan and managing donor relations and communications. I'll be splitting time between the office and store so I'll get to meet and work with all sorts of interesting people, working for a cause I feel passionate about - housing. And I get to plan special events and manage volunteers and outreach. I get to partner with a variety of professionals in the industry who have fantastic connections and experience so it will be an honor to work with them. It's exciting because I'll get to use both my communications degree (bachelors) and nonprofit management and leadership degree (masters) all at once in addition to my skills and experience, plus have opportunities for growth, networking, career advancement, and professional development (as I also feel passionate about investing in nonprofit professionals as I believe nonprofit organizations' success depends upon the success and passion of its workers. I'll move from part-time with fringe benefits to full time with full salary and full benefits and it's within a 20 minute commute of my home. :)

@AdamsEve1231 Wow, an interview with 5 different people for 5 hours sounds exhausting. I think the most exhausting one I've experienced was a 30-minute panel interview with four people. (And I had to speak in three different languages for the panelists) And congrats on getting the dream job! I've been looking for a new job myself.

@pronterus After the first one, it wasn't so bad. Mostly because I picked up on language they used and was able to use phrasing and speak to specific needs I was now aware of in the next ones. It was building knowledge on the fly, but I felt pretty good about it and I was able to put into my own words things that they need and want. Three different languages? That would be exhausting in my opinion. I know three, but I doubt I'd use all three at an interview (ASL and Latin). Lol. I'd like to see someone ask me something in Latin. I'd probably fail because I'm better at reading it than speaking.

@simscognito :D After @LegacySims2017, @LyricSimsz15, @Shadyboop, and @AuroraLockwood are finished dumping snow on you, lol, you and I can grab coffee (or hot cocoa) to warm up. :)
...actually, I'd let you hide out here. It's mostly warm without the snow. :p

@AdamsEve1231 I applied for a position at the Japanese Embassy in my country since they were looking for local staff. I grew up with English and Filipino, but Japanese was something I learned. The exhausting part was having to speak in Japanese and listening carefully to what the directors were saying. I didn't get the job, but it was a good experience, nevertheless.

Hey guys! I'm here with another chapter of Underlove.
    Underlove Chapter 7
This chapter is more lighthearted/cute, with quite a bit of Niamh x Faith in there. This is also the first chapter i've written in under 24 hours so that's an accomplishment :D

@pronterus The embassy would've been interesting, I'm sure. I feel like my last four months of interviewing was training for landing "the" interview. I feel like I could peddle tips now. Lol. I've had so much practice. Good luck with your job hunt also.
