I think so, especially because of EA Play. I think we will either be getting University next quarter and Seasons by the end of the year, or the opposite.
I just feel like it wouldn't be profitable to release two in a year. And if it's not profitable, EA doesn't do it.

Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
Given the recent news about no quarterly teaser for this quarter, that has pushed me towards the 'Yes' camp (though I admit the 'Yes' is still optimistic, I feel like it's a lot more likely this year than in the previous years).
The lack of a quarterly teaser for this quarter could mean two things; 1. we aren't getting any paid packs this quarter, or 2. an expansion will be announced this quarter, and released during this or the next quarter (depending on when it's announced). While I think Option 1 is still fairly likely, I don't think Option 2 is ridiculously out of the realm of possibility.
If a new EP is releasing during this quarter, it still makes sense to me that they would forego the quarterly teaser (if there's no other packs releasing) as the marketing team carefully plans out the marketing for new EPs, and it makes sense to me that they would want the first announcement to be a proper announcement rather than a few seconds in a quarterly teaser. And with the way the team is starting to hype up something new being at EA Play, I think it's possible we could see an announcement this quarter, with the EP available to play at EA Play before its release.
That's just my bit of speculation though, we'll see how it plays out.

I wouldn't say expansion packs were bigger than they were for the sims 3.
Vampires are improved and even toddlers are improved. But these sims 4 expansion packs are so stripped of features some of us get bored in a matter of weeks.if not hours.
World adventure was a huge expansion pack, much like a lot of the sims 3 expansion packs. The sims 4 expansion packs isn't even in the same league.
If not for game packs and updates I would of given up completely by now.
The only long term effects I get from a lot of the sims 4 expansion packs are disappointment and underwhelmed. Why?
Because there is no wow factor in them and disapointment because of endless feature after feature being taken away from both base game and expansion packs for this series of the sims.
The sims 4 does have some great improvement with packs but a lot of bad.
One of the worsed after the cuts are restrictions.

I certainly hope that we get a second expansion this year, but I am not getting too ahead of myself. I do have a theory as to what a second expansion could be, but I don't want to get the thread off-topic.

Lol. Jungle Adventure is a game pack and it costs the same as a TS3 stuff pack. You should compare Jungle Adventure with something like Outdoor Living or Diesel Stuff, not World Adventures.
