@Cassee, Thanks Cass! As far as those rugs go, I had to improvise... I originally had one of those expensive rugs, sized down throughout most of the rooms and I couldn't believe how much they shot the cost up! So out they went and in came the 'no cost' created rugs. Thanks for the sweet comment both here and on the Gallery!
@masajo, Thank you so much Christine! Love Bird is my favorite too, thank you I always have fun with the landscaping in those cottage-y types of builds. Lol about the rugs in the contemporary build! I was just telling Cassee that I was forced to come up with something *cheap* to replace my original idea for rugs, in order to keep the cost down. Thank you for your lovely comments!
Just letting you know that I will be leaving this afternoon for two wonderful weeks in the sunshine and warmth. My husband and I are celebrating a milestone Anniversary this year. I can't believe how quickly time passes!
I have posted about your anniversary trip away on the other thread, but just saying again that I hope you and your husband have a very lovely and special time away
This home had been sitting unfinished in my library Forever. I finally got around to finishing it over the weekend.
It's a large open concept home for a big family. There are five bedrooms upstairs and a playroom for the kiddies. Out back there is a nice patio area with an outdoor kitchen, dining, entertaining and hot tub areas.

Amazing build my dear friend, honestly if I have enough money later in my life, I would aspire to have a house as well structured and modern as this one
I tried to keep the budget down on this home as much as possible and still have it look pretty both inside and out. It started out with a LOT more items and I had to really scale back on a ton of them. Sigh. It's always hard to take away the pretties. Anyway, I think it ended up pretty good in the end. It has three bedrooms and three baths and sleeps six sims for under $70 grand. Outdoors there's an upper deck with a bar and table to relax on. The back yard has a pool, dining set, grill, easel, kids activity table and a garden. Playtested

I like your architecture, very rustic! An awesome way to think outside the box. The trims and the pillars really made it look very detailed and the roofing is so complex too! Your landscaping is so pretty! The garden out front is very beautiful! Love that adorable tree with flowers too! The backyard is so wonderful with an adorable small pool, and I like the driveway. And your interior, very amazing! Love the rugs you did using the carpet floor patterns. The kids rooms are so cute as well!

@WrathofCath I put Bungalow in the Jungle Oh in my game the day you uploaded it, lol. My families love going there on vacation, It's beautiful! I love how you build it off the ground, it seems more realistic so they can see the views. The Sims team should hire you to build houses for them

Bungalow in the Jungle Oh is such a very nice triopical home! The exterior design and layout of the home is very nice! It is great that it has been built on stilts, and there is a pond and tropical plants undernesth the home. The tropical greenery gives such a very nice natural and refreshment look to the home! The roofing design is great! Very nice wraparound outdoors deck! There are mang things for sims to enjoy doing whilst on the deck, enjoying the outdoors air and tropical setting! It is nice that there are areas where they can have fun playing chess or card table games, or enjoy dancing to the juke box music. Very nice sitting areas for chatting in the sunshine . They will enjioy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! Each room area looks very nice! Very nice open plan layout of the home.Very nice colour scheme of the home. The design of the bedrooms looks very nice. The kids tv warching nook with the teddy armchairs and penguin tv is very cute! The pictures on the bedroom walls add a very nice look to the rooms. Very nice sofa seat sitting area in the living and dining area for sims to relax and watch tv or read a book. The candles on the coffee table are calming . Very nice kitchen nook! The patterned kitchen wall tiling looks very nice .

About the name.. the new pack came out either right before we went on vacation or while we were away. Can't remember.
Anyway, I knew I wanted to build something as soon as I could and I already had the name for it, "Bungle in the Jungle", from the song. I couldn't believe how many other simmers thought the same thing! I saw so many builds with that particular name, I knew I had to come up with something else. Then this silly name occurred to me, while I was working on the build.
