Help!!! weird glitch

I did an update to my game in November (might have been October) . Immediately after my game started flashing with weird lines going through the screen. I have tried waiting to see if it would solve itself or if a patch would come out but nothing has helped. It was perfectly fine the day before the update and I don't have any cc or mods. I also checked to make sure my drivers were all up to date and still nothing. It also doesn't seem to happen on any other games. I really hope to figure this out asap so that I can play jungle adventure because it looks great.

Repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair

Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go,to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game.

Try starting the game in windowed mode

If the issues remain, could you please post your DxDiag info here.
To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, do this :
Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
Type dxdiag in the text field
Click OK
Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report

After you have saved your dxdiag info on your computer, go to the pastebin site https://pastebin.com
and copy/paste the dxdiag info into the white box there. Press the button to create the new paste/pastebin text file.
Then post here in this thread the web address of your dxdiag info that is on the pastebin site.

Could you please post all the DXDiag info into the pastebin file. The file only contains the first part of the DXDiag info, and it would be good to see it all.

Unfortunately this computer is way below requirements to run this game. do you have another computer to play on? If not I suggest thinking about investing in a computer that meets requirements to run this game

When you have an underpowered computer, the game may run one day and not the next. The more you add to this game , the more demanding the game becomes to a computer. Just a patch can do your computer in to where the game will no longer play. Sorry for the bad news

If you decide to purchase a new computer and would like help and advice in getting a computer that handle the game and packs, it would be good to post on a thread in thiscSims 4 Tech section and simmers will assist you and offer suggestions and help.

It sounds like you have screen tear. All you need to do is open your game > open settings > Graphics > Click the Vertical Sync option so it is enabled. Apply changes and restart your game.

Not sure if this is the right place to post but i really need help, my character was at the temple and one was at home and died from fireflies but when my main character got home there was no urn or anything... the one that died is a ghost but is no longer a part of the house hold? I have so many hours left before the sim dies forever... how do i get the ghost to be part of the household again so i can bring them back to life?
