@laebeth, you are welcome! That's great you were able to upload the pictures. The interior is very cute, especially the exam room. It does look very realistic. Great job!
Wow, it's been a while since I last visited and I must say your latest creations are absolutely awesome. My favourite is most definitely Evergreen Village, superb work. The Christmas tree stands proud as the focal point with all the beautiful Tudor style buildings surrounding. The Church looks so beautiful and I love how you've created the toy stall, very creative
Thank you for taking the time to check out my new creations @masajo And thank you for the kind comment on Evergreen! I'm glad you liked it I think that's a favorite for me too. I do love the tudor style!
This is my entry to Build and Share #85. In this challenge we were supplied a shell of a home, and with some strict guidelines and an unlimited budget we had to make the best of it. In this particular case we could not make any changes to the existing floor plan. We also had to use an object as inspiration out of 4 available. I chose the watering can with flowers. I used it's primary colors, red and white, for most of the exterior, taking a more literal approach to display the item. For the interior however I tried to rather showcase the feel of the object. I was having key words such as "rustic", "country", "soft", "romantic" and "overflowing garden" in mind. I went with something quite familiar, and a predominantly Scandinavian look for the house itself. I personally love the red and white combination on houses here at home actually.
The annex was built as a stand alone apartment. It can be used as a rental, or perhaps the owners has relatives wanting to live close. The couple I built this house for do not have kids. It's a single couple, with one of them loving to read and write books, hence the library and study. There is also a love for gardening, with the large garden as well as all the indoor plants.
This room was created out of sheer fun and wanting to check out all the new items that came with the Laundry Day stuff pack! Since all the items are fairly rustic, the style more naturally ended up being more country. It is very brown and beige, but these happen to be colors I personally love, so I can very easily end up on this side of the color chart. I tried to make it look and feel lived in, not neat or clean, but as if the laundry room is also somewhat of a storage room.
This was created for the Quality Control challenge #58. This challenge was inspired by upcoming Valentines Day and asked us to create a romantic restaurant. I immediately knew I wanted to do an Italian style build, as that is what I consider romantic. I have been to Italy twice, once in Venice and once in Rome, and I just love it! I really wanted to make a restaurant that looks pretty authentic, and as if you would stumble upon it while travelling there. In addition to the main restaurant on the first floor there is also a bar and entertainment area on the second floor and a private dining room. In the backyard there is a wedding arch and seating for those wanting a romantic wedding in an Italian setting.
Holly Haven, the Laundry room. and Ristorante Amore each look very nice! Very nice exteriors of the home and the restaurant! The red colour of Holly Haven looks very nice, and very nice outdoors areas! The gazebo is a special touch. The duck is cute in the pond ! Very nice furnishing of the interior of each of the builds and room! I have posted about restaurant on the challenge thread,
I won’t write about each of the builds but they look very nice
Oh you don't have to write about each of them sweet @rosemow I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and let me know you enjoy them! That makes me happy!
This is created for Build and Share challenge #88. Here we were asked to create a fairy tail cottage on a starter budget. For this I started out with a very different idea, but decided to rethink it, and ended up with a far more simple cottage than originally planned. What I really tried to achieve here was a balance between the interior and exterior and landscaping. I tried to avoid a situation where one area would be sparse and lacking due to budget restraints. I also focused on using what nature has to offer. In the duck pond you can not only fish your own dinner, you can also wash your clothes. The backyard has a small vegetable and herb garden to ensure fresh ingredients while cooking. If the budget wasn't so tight I would have loved to include a wood stove to cook on, but unfortunately that just wouldn't work. All in all I think this ended up being a wonderful little cottage, and I'm amazed at what one can achieve on such a small budget.
Woodlands Cottage is very pretty! Very nice homely and fairy tale themed design of the exterior! The roofing, curved front porch, Tudor style wall patterning, open shutter flower windows, and flowers on the edge of the patio and through the outdoors areas look so very nice! The pond for both fishing and washing clothes is great! The ducks in and beside the pond and bird house near it are very nice touches! The clothes line and wash tub is a great touch in the build.. Very nice outdoors table and chair sitting area for Sims to enjoy time out in the sunshine. Very nice fenced harvestable garden! Very nice furnishing and layout of the interior! The brown colour scheme and striped wallpaper looks nice. The coat and hat shelf is homely near the door and the plaque award is also proudly placed there! The herbs and garlic on the kitchen wall and the flower, picture, books and candle on the wall shelves look great! Nice yellow sofa seat sitting area for reading a book. The wreath is nice on the wall. The green colour of the bedroom walls is calming. The birds and orange flowers pictures add a nice look to the room
It is a very nice cottage !
Thank you for the wonderful review on my cottage @rosemow
Also, thank you for letting me know about the feature. This is my first time being featured on one of the Gallery spotlights, so that is a very special honor to be given on Valentines Day!
@Laebeth, Oh my! I adore your tiny and Charming Woodlands Cottage! So adorable. The pond and landscaping are gorgeous and the interiors are so very comfy and cozy. Beautiful work!
@rosemow So sorry it has taken me so long to reply! Thank you so much for letting me know, and for the congrats! I was meant to share the build here, but I surprisingly received the Maxis fave the day after upload, so I never got around to it. I am here to finally update it now! Thank you for always being so caring
This was a build to celebrate the new Jungle Adventure game pack! I had this idea of making a secluded jungle hut, found deep in the forest. The idea for the lagoon and waterfall came very early, as I thought it fit well with the concept I wanted. The hut itself is very simple. This was meant to be a lower budget holiday home, so I wanted it small and intimate.
The Sims Community website did a feature on Jungle Adventure builds. Here you can find some extraordinary creations, and my modest Jungle retreat was lucky enough to be featured with them! The article can be found here.
Retiro de la Cascada is such a very nice forest jungle home! The hut design of the home looks very nice! Very nice roofing! The rock edged lagoon and the rock waterfall are very special features in the build! They look so very nice! The greenery, plants , flowers and trees in the outdoors areas look so very nice and natural! It looks very nice how you have used the terrain paint to do the front curving pathway and lined the edges with plants . Very nice layout and furnishing of the interior of the home! The brown, blue and yellow colour schemes of the rooms looks very nice. The pattrerned tiling in the bathroom and kitchen gives a great look to the rooms! Very nice eat in dining area in the kitchen. The yellow flowers are sunny for sims to see as they are eating their meals. The yellow curtains look very nice how they are placed in the bedroom.
It is a very nice home to rent in Selvadorada !
