@emorrill Thanks for all your comments! Most of my cc comes from TSR or MTS. I've been going through Lana's Finds the last few weeks and finding a few things there as well.
The wrap around was a pose and them standing in the room were poses. I don't use too many, but experimenting with a few.

@Charlottesmom You know I enjoyed this one. Love seeing L and Meggie all but smooching. Poor Meggie, so young and confused about her feelings. I sure hope Lee can straighten L out! lol Not sure who Meggie can talk to. I can't imagine her chatting with Jared or Conner about her feeling for L. Maybe that Ms. Black. I don't think you need the last little bit that shows up next to the picture for the pic to show, and since you used it your comments will be blue. Never mind, you figured it out.

Well I had a pretty good day off today and it is so nice to have my own time back Things should be a bit easier from now on and been good to be away from the workplace!

EDIT: @Silverofdreams30, what kind of ghost is that? I mean, what was the cause of his death? I think I have never heard about green-black ghosts in TS3. Is this something from Supernatural EP?
Melee auditions at Micks and she is not experienced enough. Well poo, she thinks! She sings at the karaoke machine and sounds great compared to my other sims that sing at it. The sim dancing is not a pudding sim but she is not very pretty. She was a good dancer though. Melee auditions for the proprietor at the park again and he loves her audition and gives her a gig.
Melee starts gig number 3, and it is late enough in the day that her friends could be there from the beginning of the set. Which is a good thing because the older lady was the only other one in the park. The older lady was married to a young adult sim and they recently divorced. She got hearts with Bryan, but, I don't think Bryan will go there! Halfway through the show one of the dreaded paparazzi show up and starts taking notes on the performance as well as who is in the audience. Melee closes the show out and gets her first legendary review. She also gets her first recurring gig! She is on her way. Hopefully that will mean less sing-o-grams.
Jared continues to work hard and had to convince this Ms. King who is a celebrity journalist to appear in a cameo in the upcoming film at the studio. Jared has a fairy high charisma level so he quickly gets to know her well enough that he is able to convince her to be in the film. She does not know it, but, her costar is apparently a Llama! Jared is advancing quickly at the studio and studies scripts that are sent in, offering critiques to the producers. He knows he can write better scripts than some of these.
Alexandra and Melee enjoy a breakfast outdoors. Melee spoils them with French Toast today and Alexandra is sure she will have to go back and exercise another couple hours to work off the yummy calories. Bryan finally gets up and enjoys some French Toast as well and Melee sits with him and chats while he eats.
Alexandra and Jared go to the library where they can read their required books for work at a much faster rate than at home. Um, no, they are not reading. The librarian slipped into the lounge and they take advantage of her absence. Bryan thanks Melee for the delicious breakfast and they celebrate in the shower stall. Apparently you cannot woohoo in the library stacks!
Melee does get a few more sing-o-gram requests and didn't flub them. She hasn't played for tips in awhile, so finds a street corner that she hoped would be a busy one. One fellow watched her for several hours and gave a few tips, while the consignment specialist came out and watched the fellow. Silly sims.
Jared and Alexandra went to Plasma 101 as Alexandra was asked to do an appearance and buy a drink. It was definitely not a hot spot and they soon found something that entertained the both of them very much. The bouncer wasn't in that room when they went in the elevator, but was when they came out. He gave them a steely eyed look and they decided to go home after that.
(I use Nraas to disallow woohoo in public as being a bad thing so they won't lose status for it. I actually disallow a lot of those silly celebrity nono's.)

@emorrill Close enough. I guess you could always create a pet household and combine it with one of your player households when you get back to your regular programming.

I spent part of yesterday cleaning out my brother's disaster zone of a house. There's still much more work to be done, but since he's in rehab for the next month, we'll have more of an opportunity to get in there.
Sims-wise, not much happened. I had Bellamy quit her job. She still hasn't gotten a new one. The NPCs are all still living. The gnomes are still breeding like mad. I've become somewhat determined to unlock all of the gem cuts without cheats/mods. It's both frustrating and my reason for continuing with the save at this moment.
@MoonandStars83 , Meggie is now 17 and aging up very soon...there are much worse separations out there, I know personally a 20 year split that has been married for 22 years.
She most likely will not wind up with L anyways.... (the end is written and actually one poster here knows the whole ending already but they promised to not talk...right @polrbear )

The next morning when Emma didn't receive a text message from Sam her first thought was, He totally forgot. So she jokingly sent him a text about it. I knew he would eventually.
Minutes went by...no response. He was usually a pretty quick answerer. As she stared down at her phone she felt a sinking in her stomach while her heart began beating faster. "It can't be," she whispered. Instantly, she pressed the Call button above all the text. As she held the phone to her ear, her breathing increased while listening to the ringing on the other end in anticipation. As it rang on and on she bit her lip thinking, Come on Sam pick up! You couldn't have leaped already!
At the end of the ringing there was a chiming sound and a voice that said: We're sorry, the number you have reached has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Please hang up and--
Emma didn't need to be told to do so.
The hand carrying her phone slumped down to her side as she lowered her face into her other hand in sorrow. She almost cried, almost prayed, but for some reason she refused to believe it happened until she saw proof of it herself. Emotions running high, she grabbed her car keys and booked it out the front door.

Raindrops started to fall on her car windshield about halfway to Sam's house. Emma sighed, thinking how fitting the weather is for how she currently felt.
Once she arrived and approached Sam's home she took notice of his car still in the driveway. He never goes anywhere without that car. He doesn't have a bike. And the porch light was still on, which most people turn off before they go to bed or first thing in the morning. Yup, she deduced, he leaped sometime last night.
She knocked on the door for good measure and of course no one answered. Retrieving the spare key from it's normal hiding place, she entered the house. The Spotted Sixam squawked upon her arrival. "Hey Ziggy," she glumly greeted. "I know you're hungry just give me a minute."
Carefully she checked every room, hoping there was some sign of Sam. There were a few dishes in the sink, crumbs on the counter, some candy wrappers on the end table by the TV, clothes laying on the floor right beside the hamper, and naturally his bed wasn't made. She half smiled at that, thinking what a typical bachelor pad this is. The Neat trait within her got right to work cleaning and tidying up. She concluded with making the bed and found herself holding the sheet up to her nose, taking in deeply the smell of Sam. Then almost immediately she backed away, chiding herself for doing something so silly. But at the same time, she left the room thinking, It's a totally normal thing to do when you miss someone and...who knows when I'll see him again. Her shoulders slumped sadly.
After feeding the bug, fish, and then Ziggy, she glanced around the room and concluded that everything important was taken care of. The garden could wait. She just didn't feel like tackling it at the moment.
Then her eyes caught hold upon the grand piano sitting right in front of her. Memories of her piano lessons with Sam began flooding into her mind as she could see the two of them sitting together on the bench, arms gently bumping into each other's, and laughing together at her embarrassment from messing up. She chuckled at the thought, but soon afterward tears began to well up in her eyes and no longer could she hold back the concealed emotions.
With her shoulders shaking and tears seeping through her fingers she cried, "I don't want him to be gone again. I can't..." she sniffed. "I can't keep enduring this without him knowing how I feel about him. I love him!" She carefully wiped at her eyes, hoping to stop the flow of the tears, but they kept coming. "And what if the Bracelet won't work because Thou hast other plans for him?" She wasn't even sure if God listened to her anymore. She buried her face in her hands again. "I just can't keep putting my life on hold like this...never knowing what could be. But...I want to hold on...I just..."
There weren't any more words to utter, just the raining of tears from an aching heart.
Two days later, still feeling depressed, Emma's day was brightened by a call from the Manager at the Bistro. He asked if he could meet with her about becoming a regular performer there and getting paid for it. She certainly couldn't say no to that and agreed to meet up for a signing.
The meeting went well and it was certainly nice to get out of the house and interact with the world again. Her "employment" at the Bistro wouldn't officially begin for two months so as to give her time to prepare and practice songs to perform. This is so exciting! she thought while exiting the building, teeth clenched to hold back a squeal. All her sadness began fading away.
In that moment however her eyes caught hold of someone familiar sitting at a nearby table with a woman. Bruce.
Her excitement soon began to fizzle out.
Bruce reached over and took the woman's hand as she gazed upon him blissfully. They then chuckled about something. Wow, Emma couldn't help thinking, That happened...quick. She didn't realize how long she'd been staring and the woman shot a glance at her before whispering to Bruce, "Umm...do you know why that lady over there is staring at us?"
Bruce looked over and his eyes widened for a second. "Oh...Emma!" he expressed loudly, motioning for her to come over. Emma reluctantly stepped forward, but stopped at a distance. "How are you?" he tenderly asked her.
"Oh," Emma breathed, "fine. I was just getting out of an interview with the Manager here."
"Oh yeah?" Bruce asked. "A job interview I presume?"
"Sort of. He's hiring me to sing on some of their VIP nights and stuff like that."
"Wow! That's great!"
"Yeeeeah," Emma trailed off, studying the woman at the table with a fake smile. She was quite beautiful. Stunning. Practically perfect in every way.
It kind of made her feel inferior. Which didn't help with her current depressive state at all.
"Oh I'm sorry Emma," Bruce declared as he gestured toward the woman. "This is Mayra. She's new in town. Mayra this is Emma."
"Oh, Emma!" Mayra expressed, clasping her hands together. "It's so nice to finally meet you. Bruce has told me such wonderful things about you."
Awkwardly blushing, he told her about me, Emma wasn't sure what to say. She just brushed a lock of hair behind her ear and managed to get out, "It's nice to meet you too Mayra. Love the arm bracelet!" She added to ease the tension.
"Thank you," Mayra expressed, touching it.
Bruce shot an appreciative smile in Emma's direction.
"Well," Emma concluded, the awkwardness weighing on her, "I don't want to further interrupt your evening so I better be going," she paused with a slight wave, "Have a nice evening."
It looked as if Bruce wanted her to stay longer, but instead he nodded. "Take care of yourself Emma. Good to see you."
"Bye," Mayra said with a little wave too.
Emma then turned away and walked at a fast pace toward the other side of the building.
She stopped, making sure she was out of sight for a few seconds, before deciding to peek back at her former boyfriend and the new woman in his life. It may not have been the best idea, but she couldn't help herself.
The two were standing now and Bruce enveloped Mayra into an amorous hug, as if saying goodbye.
Emma shook her head, still watching. I sure didn't expect him to get over us so quickly...
Then her heart really sank as she watched them kiss.
And that's when she turned away and continued on down the sidewalk forlornly. Even though she and Bruce ended their relationship on good terms, and even though she was in love with another, watching him there with that new, beautiful woman in his life, felt like a knife to the heart.
Well, she thought, the tears coming back again. I guess that's that.
Feeling so dejected and still mourning over Sam's departure, she decided she just couldn't take it anymore. She needed a break from her life. "I gotta get out of this town," she declared while pulling out her phone. It didn't feel right to leave without sending Sam a message:
I know you won't see this until you return, but...I'm leaving town for a while. Gonna stay with family. Call me when you get back. ~Emma

Meanwhile at the Vanderburg Mansion...
"Well," Catarina addressed Renauld in their bedroom while changing into her nightgown. "It sounds like Doctor Beckett has left town to attend to his new job. I wish he would've called and let me know first..."
Renauld, who'd been relaxing on the bed with a book, but putting it down to admire the scene before him, responded with, "He's clearly a busy man Catarina. You can't expect him to remember to shoot us a call every time something important comes up."
"I know," Catarina slightly whined, coming closer to the bed and sitting down at the foot of it. "I just worry about something bad happening to us while he's gone like last time."
Renauld crawled closer to her. "I understand," he whispered, leaning in to kiss her neck. "But everything will be alright...I'm sure of it." He lightly kissed over and over again.
The kisses sent tingles down Catarina's spine. "Renauld...what are you doing?" she asked playfully.
Soon Renauld slid the straps from her nightgown off her shoulders down to her arms, still kissing. "I want you," he whispered, "It's been so long...and watching you undress just then..."
Catarina grinned. "Ohhhh I see." She turned to give him a passionate kiss on the lips.
"Shall we?" Renauld asked, face beaming.
Catarina surprised herself by saying, "Oh G** yes!" And soon items of clothing were being thrown on the floor.
Love and happiness, though thought lost, was once again abound in the royal mansion.
After the long engagement of passion, Catarina lay on her side away from Renauld still wide awake. I wish it could stay like this forever, she dreamed, but I must tell him the truth about our Rebecca.

That same evening a conversation went on behind closed doors.
"I sure do appreciate you meeting with me Sir," Officer Chesterfield expressed as he closed the door to the International Super Spy's home behind him.
"No problem at all," said Carl Abbot. They stepped a few feet away from the door. "So what's on your mind?"
"Well Sir, it's about one of the locals here." He eyed him. "Doctor Sam Beckett."
Carl looked upon him questionably. It took a moment to remember. "The Vanderburg's concierge Doctor?"
"Yes Sir."
"What about him?"
Bruce hesitated for a moment, for a couple of reasons. He had to present this right. "There's something suspicious about him Sir."
Folding his arms with a smile playing across his lips Carl asked, "Like what?"
Bruce could sense his Superior was finding this unbelievable and that worried him a little. "Well, like these random disappearances of his without a word to anyone. First he practically fell off the face of the world, presumed dead, and then magically returned.
Now, he's left town abruptly again, which prompted my investigation, and the rumors are he got a managing job in Bridgeport. At their Science Facility."
"Ok?"
"So, I made a phone call to the said Science Facility and was told there's no Sam Beckett in employment there."
Now Carl's eyebrow raised.
"In fact I called many different places there and...no sign of a Sam Beckett working anywhere in that city."
Bruce certainly piqued the Spy's interest, but he had to say, "I understand your concern Officer, but from what I gather Doctor Beckett is a kind, upstanding man in the community with no criminal record. He'd have to be if the Vanderburg's have him in their employ. Perhaps," he shrugged, "he takes off to visit family or something."
"But Sir I was told by a very good source that he doesn't have any family."
Carl trusted his source. "So...what are you getting at Officer?"
"I'm saying," Bruce stopped, "I'm concerned that his secrets might involve a plot against the Vanderburg's. Or," he paused, thinking of Emma, "hurt the people close to him."
"Who's saying he has any secrets?"
"No one, I just," he pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to compose himself. "Look Sir. I'm really not trying to make him out to be a bad guy."
"Well, he certainly isn't since he helped expose Emmaline Rhoen's practices!"
"Indeed! I'm just suggesting that based on this evidence someone keep a close eye on him for a while after he gets back. Just to make sure he's not engaging in any shady or criminal activities."
Carl nodded. That seemed reasonable. "And you want that someone to be me?"
Bruce 🐸🐸🐸🐸'ked his head. "Well you are an international super spy after all Sir." He winked. Then added, "This will require a professional, so that's why I came to you. If you don't mind. I'm just trying to look after my town."
Carl released a giant sigh while taking a moment to think. He decided to take on the job. "I think I can manage this simple task among my other duties."
"Thank you Sir," Bruce expressed, shaking his hand. "I just want to make sure Doctor Beckett is who we all think he is. I don't want anyone getting hurt."
"I understand," the spy said, patting Bruce's shoulder. "You're doing your duty as an officer and I commend you for that."

While packing up her stuff the night before Emma realized that she couldn't leave town without finding someone to care for Sam's pets. The first person that came to mind was his friend Liam. She decided to call the Science Facility to reach him, but they told her it was his day off. Great. She released a giant sigh while thinking. Maybe I can catch him at the Spring Festival. Most people go there on their days off. And that's just where she went.
Hours went by as Emma enjoyed herself at the Festival while still hoping Liam would show up. With her patience growing thin she decided he wasn't coming and started heading toward her car. But then she spotted him over by the "Love Tester" machine. She chuckled watching him use the machine alone and decided it would be better to confront him once he was done.
"Liam?"
The man turned sharply. "Uh...Yes?"
"Sorry," Emma expressed at his startle. "I'm Emma, a friend of Sam's." She held out her hand.
"Oh yeah. He's mentioned you before. Nice to meet you Emma."
"I don't mean to be a bother, but I was wondering if I could ask a favor of you?"
With a slight shrug Liam replied, "Sure."
"Sam's out of town and asked me to care for his pets, but...I need to leave town myself so...would you mind taking care of his pets until he gets back? It's just a bird and a fish. Oh! And a radioactive bug."
Liam chuckled. "Yeah, sure."
"Thank you," she said appreciatively and then told him where to find the house key.
"Alrighty. Do you know when Sam will be back?"
"Uhh, no actually. But text him and ask him to call you when he is. If you don't get a reply back it's just because he's super busy, but don't worry he reads it."
"Ok," Liam accepted. "Will you happen to be back before he is?"
That was an odd question. "Umm, I'm not sure," Emma replied. "Honestly I don't know how long I'll be away. It's personal."
Liam lowered his head, realizing he asked the wrong question. "I understand. Sorry I asked, I was just trying to get an idea of how long I'll need to take care of the pets."
"You're ok."
Emma then gave him all the details on how to care for the pets and asked if he wouldn't mind tending the garden too. He agreed and she was thankful. They even exchanged numbers should any problems arise, but most likely not. "Better to be on the safe side," Liam stated.
"Yeah," Emma smiled. "Well I need to get going. Thank you again." And with that she left.
Liam couldn't help watching her as she left. With a grin he thought, She's cute, and glanced back down at her number written on his hand.

Before sundown, Emma got into her car and promptly drove away from Hidden Springs; not looking back. At least for a little while.
Music blaring, tears streamed down her cheek as she contemplated her life as a whole and where she was going with it.
She lowered the volume. "God," she prayed again, feelings of doubt consuming her. "I don't know how much more of this I can take. Am I just kidding myself with these feelings? Could it ever be?" She sniffed. "I must know. Please...allow Sam to come back!"

I laughed when she spotted Bruce with Mayra and felt like she did. It is so funny that we women are so possessive about our former boyfriends, especially if we left on good terms like they did. It has to hurt a little, but, she needed to see that he had moved on. Gosh you made Mayra. You can always unmake her! lol

@imdragonit thanks. Since you prompted me to think of it, I'm now wondering if I could try that blue mushroom house out as a new home for Gertie at some stage. I plan for her to move around a bit as her current home in Hidden Springs is a bit cramped. I'm not sure how the cats would go with that long spiral staircase though. I might have to restrict them to living downstairs.

@emorrill I just tested postimg and it seems to be perfect for me now. It's been a bit slow lately and hard to use and then a couple of days ago I just got internal server errors all day but since that went away it's been spectacularly smooth and good to use. I suspect they are doing maintenance of some sort and maybe moving things to different servers as I suspect the servers they were using previously were getting too full. But that's only my guess. The day I was having problems I could see my pictures but couldn't log into my account and therefore couldn't link anything or load anything new.
I watched QL Episode 3 last night. It was interesting. Now I await episode 4 next week.
My various videos are abouto to start getting interesting - Caroline will continue to work on badges but as she gets more skills she does more interesting things. The other three videos have story lines that are moving to a new level, even the Isla Paradiso Bunch are about to have some unusual things happening that I didn't plan but went with for the fun of it.
You will see the cat lady again in the far distant future of the McFluff videos. Sam Steptoe will be in the next episode though - along with his other four sculpting friends. I think they're friends.
@bekkasan nice pictures of your singer sim again. I just have to ask a question - does she catch fire often? Mine did - a lot - but she was trying to get badges for me and so was doing specific types of things and I think it was something in particular that she had to do that would light her up if it backfired.
@coco apparently all tourists you see in your game are just copies of the sims back in their home world.
I think the maximum number of Sims I've moved in a single file using NRAAS Porter mod is about 310. How many you can move seems to depend on your computer. But I suspect you'll need additional mods to do it. For example you'll probably need something to let you have an overstuffed household as when you're unpacking them in the new world they are all initially unpacked into a single house and then the mod moves the individual households around the world into empty houses. If any can't be moved you get an error message before the mod stops processing and the initial house has all sims in it that couldn't be moved and you need to find them homes and manually move them into their new houses. Then go around the world and move everyone into their correct home. It takes a while but you have a fresh new game with all your old sims remembering each other.

@Charlottesmom nice update with the Dream. I must admit though, I'm not sure of what is going to become of Meggie. She seems very confused and unwilling to share her thoughts or feelings. Maybe she's just got low self esteem.
I just let my computer do the big Windows 10 update. It took ages and had several restarts along the way. I'm not sure what it has done for me. The big improvements it talked about don't seem relevant to me right now. But the good news is it seems to be still working. Sims 3 has launched and I'm now loading my Riverview save.

I'm thinking of starting on recording some of Louise's early life for her introduction to the Oscar and Louise video.
I started putting together the video for the next episode of the Isla Paradiso Bunch yesterday. It is ready for the narration. It could turn into two videos - depends on how much I can cut out of it. I need to remove nearly 30 minutes. Sometimes I can remove an hour or more without a problem and sometimes it's hard to get rid of 10 minutes. Depends on how much time is spent paused or saving or just waiting for the screen to redraw during the recording process. At least this time it all got recorded.
@bekkasan Thanks I can't play a premade in their natural state but once I have Mikezumified them it's a different kettle of fish My other Eddy was not "out of the box" but I did try to keep him as true to his original as possible. This one, although he looks a lot like my old Eddy, has had considerable changes, albeit subtle. Eddy, without eyeliner, had unfortunate, dead looking, eyes. I also changed his nose, mouth and chin in this version.

Random Happenings
Melee auditions at Micks and she is not experienced enough. Well poo, she thinks! She sings at the karaoke machine and sounds great compared to my other sims that sing at it. The sim dancing is not a pudding sim but she is not very pretty. She was a good dancer though. Melee auditions for the proprietor at the park again and he loves her audition and gives her a gig.
Melee starts gig number 3, and it is late enough in the day that her friends could be there from the beginning of the set. Which is a good thing because the older lady was the only other one in the park. The older lady was married to a young adult sim and they recently divorced. She got hearts with Bryan, but, I don't think Bryan will go there! Halfway through the show one of the dreaded paparazzi show up and starts taking notes on the performance as well as who is in the audience. Melee closes the show out and gets her first legendary review. She also gets her first recurring gig! She is on her way. Hopefully that will mean less sing-o-grams.
Jared continues to work hard and had to convince this Ms. King who is a celebrity journalist to appear in a cameo in the upcoming film at the studio. Jared has a fairy high charisma level so he quickly gets to know her well enough that he is able to convince her to be in the film. She does not know it, but, her costar is apparently a Llama! Jared is advancing quickly at the studio and studies scripts that are sent in, offering critiques to the producers. He knows he can write better scripts than some of these.
Alexandra and Melee enjoy a breakfast outdoors. Melee spoils them with French Toast today and Alexandra is sure she will have to go back and exercise another couple hours to work off the yummy calories. Bryan finally gets up and enjoys some French Toast as well and Melee sits with him and chats while he eats.
Alexandra and Jared go to the library where they can read their required books for work at a much faster rate than at home. Um, no, they are not reading. The librarian slipped into the lounge and they take advantage of her absence. Bryan thanks Melee for the delicious breakfast and they celebrate in the shower stall. Apparently you cannot woohoo in the library stacks!
Melee does get a few more sing-o-gram requests and didn't flub them. She hasn't played for tips in awhile, so finds a street corner that she hoped would be a busy one. One fellow watched her for several hours and gave a few tips, while the consignment specialist came out and watched the fellow. Silly sims.
Jared and Alexandra went to Plasma 101 as Alexandra was asked to do an appearance and buy a drink. It was definitely not a hot spot and they soon found something that entertained the both of them very much. The bouncer wasn't in that room when they went in the elevator, but was when they came out. He gave them a steely eyed look and they decided to go home after that.
(I use Nraas to disallow woohoo in public as being a bad thing so they won't lose status for it. I actually disallow a lot of those silly celebrity nono's.)

I spent part of yesterday cleaning out my brother's disaster zone of a house. There's still much more work to be done, but since he's in rehab for the next month, we'll have more of an opportunity to get in there.
Sims-wise, not much happened. I had Bellamy quit her job. She still hasn't gotten a new one. The NPCs are all still living. The gnomes are still breeding like mad. I've become somewhat determined to unlock all of the gem cuts without cheats/mods. It's both frustrating and my reason for continuing with the save at this moment.

Downhearted
The next morning when Emma didn't receive a text message from Sam her first thought was, He totally forgot. So she jokingly sent him a text about it. I knew he would eventually.
Minutes went by...no response. He was usually a pretty quick answerer. As she stared down at her phone she felt a sinking in her stomach while her heart began beating faster. "It can't be," she whispered. Instantly, she pressed the Call button above all the text. As she held the phone to her ear, her breathing increased while listening to the ringing on the other end in anticipation. As it rang on and on she bit her lip thinking, Come on Sam pick up! You couldn't have leaped already!
At the end of the ringing there was a chiming sound and a voice that said: We're sorry, the number you have reached has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Please hang up and--
Emma didn't need to be told to do so.
The hand carrying her phone slumped down to her side as she lowered her face into her other hand in sorrow. She almost cried, almost prayed, but for some reason she refused to believe it happened until she saw proof of it herself. Emotions running high, she grabbed her car keys and booked it out the front door.

Raindrops started to fall on her car windshield about halfway to Sam's house. Emma sighed, thinking how fitting the weather is for how she currently felt.
Once she arrived and approached Sam's home she took notice of his car still in the driveway. He never goes anywhere without that car. He doesn't have a bike. And the porch light was still on, which most people turn off before they go to bed or first thing in the morning. Yup, she deduced, he leaped sometime last night.
She knocked on the door for good measure and of course no one answered. Retrieving the spare key from it's normal hiding place, she entered the house. The Spotted Sixam squawked upon her arrival. "Hey Ziggy," she glumly greeted. "I know you're hungry just give me a minute."
Carefully she checked every room, hoping there was some sign of Sam. There were a few dishes in the sink, crumbs on the counter, some candy wrappers on the end table by the TV, clothes laying on the floor right beside the hamper, and naturally his bed wasn't made. She half smiled at that, thinking what a typical bachelor pad this is. The Neat trait within her got right to work cleaning and tidying up. She concluded with making the bed and found herself holding the sheet up to her nose, taking in deeply the smell of Sam. Then almost immediately she backed away, chiding herself for doing something so silly. But at the same time, she left the room thinking, It's a totally normal thing to do when you miss someone and...who knows when I'll see him again. Her shoulders slumped sadly.
After feeding the bug, fish, and then Ziggy, she glanced around the room and concluded that everything important was taken care of. The garden could wait. She just didn't feel like tackling it at the moment.
Then her eyes caught hold upon the grand piano sitting right in front of her. Memories of her piano lessons with Sam began flooding into her mind as she could see the two of them sitting together on the bench, arms gently bumping into each other's, and laughing together at her embarrassment from messing up. She chuckled at the thought, but soon afterward tears began to well up in her eyes and no longer could she hold back the concealed emotions.
With her shoulders shaking and tears seeping through her fingers she cried, "I don't want him to be gone again. I can't..." she sniffed. "I can't keep enduring this without him knowing how I feel about him. I love him!" She carefully wiped at her eyes, hoping to stop the flow of the tears, but they kept coming. "And what if the Bracelet won't work because Thou hast other plans for him?" She wasn't even sure if God listened to her anymore. She buried her face in her hands again. "I just can't keep putting my life on hold like this...never knowing what could be. But...I want to hold on...I just..."
There weren't any more words to utter, just the raining of tears from an aching heart.

Two days later, still feeling depressed, Emma's day was brightened by a call from the Manager at the Bistro. He asked if he could meet with her about becoming a regular performer there and getting paid for it. She certainly couldn't say no to that and agreed to meet up for a signing.
The meeting went well and it was certainly nice to get out of the house and interact with the world again. Her "employment" at the Bistro wouldn't officially begin for two months so as to give her time to prepare and practice songs to perform. This is so exciting! she thought while exiting the building, teeth clenched to hold back a squeal. All her sadness began fading away.
In that moment however her eyes caught hold of someone familiar sitting at a nearby table with a woman. Bruce.
Her excitement soon began to fizzle out.
Bruce reached over and took the woman's hand as she gazed upon him blissfully. They then chuckled about something. Wow, Emma couldn't help thinking, That happened...quick. She didn't realize how long she'd been staring and the woman shot a glance at her before whispering to Bruce, "Umm...do you know why that lady over there is staring at us?"
Bruce looked over and his eyes widened for a second. "Oh...Emma!" he expressed loudly, motioning for her to come over. Emma reluctantly stepped forward, but stopped at a distance. "How are you?" he tenderly asked her.
"Oh," Emma breathed, "fine. I was just getting out of an interview with the Manager here."
"Oh yeah?" Bruce asked. "A job interview I presume?"
"Sort of. He's hiring me to sing on some of their VIP nights and stuff like that."
"Wow! That's great!"
"Yeeeeah," Emma trailed off, studying the woman at the table with a fake smile. She was quite beautiful. Stunning. Practically perfect in every way.
It kind of made her feel inferior. Which didn't help with her current depressive state at all.
"Oh I'm sorry Emma," Bruce declared as he gestured toward the woman. "This is Mayra. She's new in town. Mayra this is Emma."
"Oh, Emma!" Mayra expressed, clasping her hands together. "It's so nice to finally meet you. Bruce has told me such wonderful things about you."
Awkwardly blushing, he told her about me, Emma wasn't sure what to say. She just brushed a lock of hair behind her ear and managed to get out, "It's nice to meet you too Mayra. Love the arm bracelet!" She added to ease the tension.
"Thank you," Mayra expressed, touching it.
Bruce shot an appreciative smile in Emma's direction.
"Well," Emma concluded, the awkwardness weighing on her, "I don't want to further interrupt your evening so I better be going," she paused with a slight wave, "Have a nice evening."
It looked as if Bruce wanted her to stay longer, but instead he nodded. "Take care of yourself Emma. Good to see you."
"Bye," Mayra said with a little wave too.
Emma then turned away and walked at a fast pace toward the other side of the building.
She stopped, making sure she was out of sight for a few seconds, before deciding to peek back at her former boyfriend and the new woman in his life. It may not have been the best idea, but she couldn't help herself.
The two were standing now and Bruce enveloped Mayra into an amorous hug, as if saying goodbye.
Emma shook her head, still watching. I sure didn't expect him to get over us so quickly...
Then her heart really sank as she watched them kiss.
And that's when she turned away and continued on down the sidewalk forlornly. Even though she and Bruce ended their relationship on good terms, and even though she was in love with another, watching him there with that new, beautiful woman in his life, felt like a knife to the heart.
Well, she thought, the tears coming back again. I guess that's that.
Feeling so dejected and still mourning over Sam's departure, she decided she just couldn't take it anymore. She needed a break from her life. "I gotta get out of this town," she declared while pulling out her phone. It didn't feel right to leave without sending Sam a message:
I know you won't see this until you return, but...I'm leaving town for a while. Gonna stay with family. Call me when you get back. ~Emma

Meanwhile at the Vanderburg Mansion...
"Well," Catarina addressed Renauld in their bedroom while changing into her nightgown. "It sounds like Doctor Beckett has left town to attend to his new job. I wish he would've called and let me know first..."
Renauld, who'd been relaxing on the bed with a book, but putting it down to admire the scene before him, responded with, "He's clearly a busy man Catarina. You can't expect him to remember to shoot us a call every time something important comes up."
"I know," Catarina slightly whined, coming closer to the bed and sitting down at the foot of it. "I just worry about something bad happening to us while he's gone like last time."
Renauld crawled closer to her. "I understand," he whispered, leaning in to kiss her neck. "But everything will be alright...I'm sure of it." He lightly kissed over and over again.
The kisses sent tingles down Catarina's spine. "Renauld...what are you doing?" she asked playfully.
Soon Renauld slid the straps from her nightgown off her shoulders down to her arms, still kissing. "I want you," he whispered, "It's been so long...and watching you undress just then..."
Catarina grinned. "Ohhhh I see." She turned to give him a passionate kiss on the lips.
"Shall we?" Renauld asked, face beaming.
Catarina surprised herself by saying, "Oh G** yes!" And soon items of clothing were being thrown on the floor.
Love and happiness, though thought lost, was once again abound in the royal mansion.
After the long engagement of passion, Catarina lay on her side away from Renauld still wide awake. I wish it could stay like this forever, she dreamed, but I must tell him the truth about our Rebecca.

That same evening a conversation went on behind closed doors.
"I sure do appreciate you meeting with me Sir," Officer Chesterfield expressed as he closed the door to the International Super Spy's home behind him.
"No problem at all," said Carl Abbot. They stepped a few feet away from the door. "So what's on your mind?"
"Well Sir, it's about one of the locals here." He eyed him. "Doctor Sam Beckett."
Carl looked upon him questionably. It took a moment to remember. "The Vanderburg's concierge Doctor?"
"Yes Sir."
"What about him?"
Bruce hesitated for a moment, for a couple of reasons. He had to present this right. "There's something suspicious about him Sir."
Folding his arms with a smile playing across his lips Carl asked, "Like what?"
Bruce could sense his Superior was finding this unbelievable and that worried him a little. "Well, like these random disappearances of his without a word to anyone. First he practically fell off the face of the world, presumed dead, and then magically returned.
Now, he's left town abruptly again, which prompted my investigation, and the rumors are he got a managing job in Bridgeport. At their Science Facility."
"Ok?"
"So, I made a phone call to the said Science Facility and was told there's no Sam Beckett in employment there."
Now Carl's eyebrow raised.
"In fact I called many different places there and...no sign of a Sam Beckett working anywhere in that city."
Bruce certainly piqued the Spy's interest, but he had to say, "I understand your concern Officer, but from what I gather Doctor Beckett is a kind, upstanding man in the community with no criminal record. He'd have to be if the Vanderburg's have him in their employ. Perhaps," he shrugged, "he takes off to visit family or something."
"But Sir I was told by a very good source that he doesn't have any family."
Carl trusted his source. "So...what are you getting at Officer?"
"I'm saying," Bruce stopped, "I'm concerned that his secrets might involve a plot against the Vanderburg's. Or," he paused, thinking of Emma, "hurt the people close to him."
"Who's saying he has any secrets?"
"No one, I just," he pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to compose himself. "Look Sir. I'm really not trying to make him out to be a bad guy."
"Well, he certainly isn't since he helped expose Emmaline Rhoen's practices!"
"Indeed! I'm just suggesting that based on this evidence someone keep a close eye on him for a while after he gets back. Just to make sure he's not engaging in any shady or criminal activities."
Carl nodded. That seemed reasonable. "And you want that someone to be me?"
Bruce 🐸🐸🐸🐸'ked his head. "Well you are an international super spy after all Sir." He winked. Then added, "This will require a professional, so that's why I came to you. If you don't mind. I'm just trying to look after my town."
Carl released a giant sigh while taking a moment to think. He decided to take on the job. "I think I can manage this simple task among my other duties."
"Thank you Sir," Bruce expressed, shaking his hand. "I just want to make sure Doctor Beckett is who we all think he is. I don't want anyone getting hurt."
"I understand," the spy said, patting Bruce's shoulder. "You're doing your duty as an officer and I commend you for that."

While packing up her stuff the night before Emma realized that she couldn't leave town without finding someone to care for Sam's pets. The first person that came to mind was his friend Liam. She decided to call the Science Facility to reach him, but they told her it was his day off. Great. She released a giant sigh while thinking. Maybe I can catch him at the Spring Festival. Most people go there on their days off. And that's just where she went.
Hours went by as Emma enjoyed herself at the Festival while still hoping Liam would show up. With her patience growing thin she decided he wasn't coming and started heading toward her car. But then she spotted him over by the "Love Tester" machine. She chuckled watching him use the machine alone and decided it would be better to confront him once he was done.
"Liam?"
The man turned sharply. "Uh...Yes?"
"Sorry," Emma expressed at his startle. "I'm Emma, a friend of Sam's." She held out her hand.
"Oh yeah. He's mentioned you before. Nice to meet you Emma."
"I don't mean to be a bother, but I was wondering if I could ask a favor of you?"
With a slight shrug Liam replied, "Sure."
"Sam's out of town and asked me to care for his pets, but...I need to leave town myself so...would you mind taking care of his pets until he gets back? It's just a bird and a fish. Oh! And a radioactive bug."
Liam chuckled. "Yeah, sure."
"Thank you," she said appreciatively and then told him where to find the house key.
"Alrighty. Do you know when Sam will be back?"
"Uhh, no actually. But text him and ask him to call you when he is. If you don't get a reply back it's just because he's super busy, but don't worry he reads it."
"Ok," Liam accepted. "Will you happen to be back before he is?"
That was an odd question. "Umm, I'm not sure," Emma replied. "Honestly I don't know how long I'll be away. It's personal."
Liam lowered his head, realizing he asked the wrong question. "I understand. Sorry I asked, I was just trying to get an idea of how long I'll need to take care of the pets."
"You're ok."
Emma then gave him all the details on how to care for the pets and asked if he wouldn't mind tending the garden too. He agreed and she was thankful. They even exchanged numbers should any problems arise, but most likely not. "Better to be on the safe side," Liam stated.
"Yeah," Emma smiled. "Well I need to get going. Thank you again." And with that she left.
Liam couldn't help watching her as she left. With a grin he thought, She's cute, and glanced back down at her number written on his hand.

Before sundown, Emma got into her car and promptly drove away from Hidden Springs; not looking back. At least for a little while.
Music blaring, tears streamed down her cheek as she contemplated her life as a whole and where she was going with it.
She lowered the volume. "God," she prayed again, feelings of doubt consuming her. "I don't know how much more of this I can take. Am I just kidding myself with these feelings? Could it ever be?" She sniffed. "I must know. Please...allow Sam to come back!"

@emorrill I just tested postimg and it seems to be perfect for me now. It's been a bit slow lately and hard to use and then a couple of days ago I just got internal server errors all day but since that went away it's been spectacularly smooth and good to use. I suspect they are doing maintenance of some sort and maybe moving things to different servers as I suspect the servers they were using previously were getting too full. But that's only my guess. The day I was having problems I could see my pictures but couldn't log into my account and therefore couldn't link anything or load anything new.
I watched QL Episode 3 last night. It was interesting. Now I await episode 4 next week.
My various videos are abouto to start getting interesting - Caroline will continue to work on badges but as she gets more skills she does more interesting things. The other three videos have story lines that are moving to a new level, even the Isla Paradiso Bunch are about to have some unusual things happening that I didn't plan but went with for the fun of it.
You will see the cat lady again in the far distant future of the McFluff videos. Sam Steptoe will be in the next episode though - along with his other four sculpting friends. I think they're friends.

Mine did - a lot - but she was trying to get badges for me and so was doing specific types of things and I think it was something in particular that she had to do that would light her up if it backfired.

@coco apparently all tourists you see in your game are just copies of the sims back in their home world.
I think the maximum number of Sims I've moved in a single file using NRAAS Porter mod is about 310. How many you can move seems to depend on your computer. But I suspect you'll need additional mods to do it. For example you'll probably need something to let you have an overstuffed household as when you're unpacking them in the new world they are all initially unpacked into a single house and then the mod moves the individual households around the world into empty houses. If any can't be moved you get an error message before the mod stops processing and the initial house has all sims in it that couldn't be moved and you need to find them homes and manually move them into their new houses. Then go around the world and move everyone into their correct home. It takes a while but you have a fresh new game with all your old sims remembering each other.

@Charlottesmom nice update with the Dream. I must admit though, I'm not sure of what is going to become of Meggie. She seems very confused and unwilling to share her thoughts or feelings. Maybe she's just got low self esteem.
I just let my computer do the big Windows 10 update. It took ages and had several restarts along the way. I'm not sure what it has done for me. The big improvements it talked about don't seem relevant to me right now. But the good news is it seems to be still working. Sims 3 has launched and I'm now loading my Riverview save.

I'm thinking of starting on recording some of Louise's early life for her introduction to the Oscar and Louise video.
I started putting together the video for the next episode of the Isla Paradiso Bunch yesterday. It is ready for the narration. It could turn into two videos - depends on how much I can cut out of it. I need to remove nearly 30 minutes. Sometimes I can remove an hour or more without a problem and sometimes it's hard to get rid of 10 minutes. Depends on how much time is spent paused or saving or just waiting for the screen to redraw during the recording process. At least this time it all got recorded.
