  I'm not sure about this specific bug but my sim often starts an action in San Myshuno and then will just cancel it or stand/sit there. I also get a "daydreaming" bug where the action is not cancelled but they just stand there and take ages to do it. Sometimes, the "reset debug" cheat solves this. I might try play basketball later to see if I get the same issue

  There’s a bug in my game where nobody can finish and learn how to make those little Siopai buns. I have no doubt spelt it wrong but they’re white buns with I believe an orange dot on top. It’s a ridiculously small bug but it’s annoying because they used to be a perfect cute snack for my sim to cook for his kids and now I can hardly even get anyone to eat them before they get half finished and stop being clickable. It’s definitely a bug because I’ve repaired the game numerous times and moved it to another computer in my house, the bug has traveled from my desktop to my laptop so it’s not an issue of a botched pc.

  Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
  
  Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps
