Haha @kimartist I'm glad you had a giggle! I was hoping for that, that the sarcasm would come through
I think we are our own worst critics, and with all the great ideas and wonderful artists around these threads one can easily be disheartened I normally am very good at putting that aside, using my logical brain, as I know full well I have good ideas too.. hehe. It's just that sometimes I forget for a few seconds and my emotions take over But it never lasts long, so that's good!
I am happy to hear you are already half way done! You are quick! My lot has two buildings still.. haha! And that's just shells
As for things not staying on fences, I had that problem a while back for one of the park challenges. If it's not a room or house wall it tends to drop. I think it has to be raised from a room (like a basement underneath) or on a wall.
We must have the same sarcasm @Laebeth I completely got it right away. I've been working on the second build for almost 18 hours now and not working on anything else at the time. I think I'm seeing this in my 5 hours of sleep last night. I'm sure you will get you build finished and it will be spectacular as always
Cool beans @Laebeth! Look forward to checking out your build!!!
I loaded mine to the gallery. PROBABLY should have done a slideshow first, but figured I'll probably just do a small slideshow of the screenshots I've already taken rather than go through the whole build again. Thanks for all the tips and help @Rosemow and @Laebeth. Next time I try to do photos, I'll definitely check to see if they work first!
Thanks for all the kind words everyone!! And YAY for @Masajo for the fav! Gorgeous build!!!
@kimartist - glad to hear you got right back in there! AND I totally get it! I kept at that build for days. I'd think...Maybe I should go grocery shopping..okay..right after I finish this part of the build...Oh, it's too late to go grocery shopping..maybe I'll watch some Netflix..right after I knock that down and rebuild...Oh, it's 1 in the morning I should go to bed...right after I recolor this room in green...
Haha @Ainsleyf that is so me! The "Just gonna do this first" mentality I've had since a kid It affects my real life as much as my game life. lol. After sitting up too long building something because I "just gotta do this"... then I'm like.. Just gotta hang up some washing. Just wanna clear these plates off. rofl. I am just hopeless. I don't sleep much
Hi @Cbear13 --- The list of requirements says "each house has more than 2 sims." However, the brief says, "each house has at least two sims living in it."
Three of my houses are set up for 4 or 5 Sims (2 or 3 children) and one newly wed couple without children. So, that household only has 2 Sims.

A must to download and see. Each thing uniquely decorated. A wonderful holiday village with 4 houses, a book store, small bar, cupcake bakery, small restaurant and a church. The children can see Santa's corner and play in the outdoor playground.

Even though my first design I accidentally deleted, I love this second design. Who wouldn't want to be here especially for Christmas?
This is so hard to come up with clothing for the young children as their aren't many Christmas things for the kids. Came up with the best I could. I didn't want them to be a family you could only play at the holiday time, although they each have a Christmas outfit under Party. I went with a holiday color scheme within their clothing selections.

Snowflake Vilage is such a very pretty and very detailed Village for Christmas time! @kimartist The layout and design of the overall Village, and the furnishing of each of the areas of the build looks so very nice! Very nice upper level outdoors area with the large Christmas tree and snowmen! The water fountains look very prefty on the edges of the upper level wall, There are so many special feature areas in the build! It is so very nice seeing your Village, after you lost the previous version. This version is extra special! Sims will enjoy living in your special Christmas Village!
The Noelle family are very nice! The kids are cute! The red colour of their clothing is a nice festive touch.
Your village is gorgeous @kimartist So glad you stuck to it and finished it after that major set back! That takes character
Your family is super cute too! We had the same idea it seems! haha. I have two girls at the same age and a toddler boy too. And I've also used Holly and Nicholas How fun!
I just finished my family now actually. Now I am going back to stare at my so far very empty village.. haha. See if inspiration strikes and I can put down some more buildings
The Noelle family is very nice! @coolsim9999999 It is great that their first names come from “ The night before Christmas” and “ The Nutcracker”. Very festively nice red and green colour scheme of their clothing. The kids are very cute! Their festive hats add a special touch to their outfits.
Thank you very much for your awesome review of my Noelle family @rosemow ! I'm happy that you really like that their names come from those two famous stories, as well as their red and green clothing ! I'm glad that you think the kids are cute and the hats, as well !

Back Story
The first names I used came from "The Night Before Chistmas" and "The Nutcracker." These Sims live in Christmas village, which is snowy year-round and is located very close to Santa's North Pole home.
