I'm reading loads of stories, so I thought I'd share what I read yesterday and today:
@Rainydayz179Curses: I adore this story! Written in largely documentary style, readers follow the lives of a huge, extended family. It was supposed to be an uglacy, but--oops! These are some of the most adorable Sims ever!
All the Alien Adoption Collab stories! We are having SO much fun with this! There's a huge backstory, an integrated plot, amazing, adorable extra-terrestrial Sims, an invented language, and a developing mythology...
through these interconnected stories Tad actually becomes part of the same world as Sugar Maple Bough, Meadow, and Dove! (and more!)
@Xantheanmar - Sylvia's Visits to Aylin: Oh, yes! I know I'm biased, but this is so much fun for me! Sylvia is one of the characters of my Vampire Code (which is a sequel to Goofy Love), and she's now on Xan's hard-drive, and Xan is writing the episodes, and they're amazing! I love seeing Sylvia in that rich world, discovering so much, and I adore Xan's language and prose.
@KaylaHoliday - The Woodward Legacy: This is another one of my huge, all-time favorites. It updates nearly daily, and reading it is a highlight of my morning.
If you're not on the list, and you know I read and love your work ( @AdamsEve1231@friendsfan367 and more!), it's because I didn't read your stories today or yesterday! Get writing!

Thank you so much for the shout out @CathyTea and I'm so glad you enjoy the Grace series!
Further, I cannot possibly thank you enough for bringing up @mastressalita because I didn't know about Teatime Tuesday. Words can't express my love for tea, and this makes my day (and every Tuesday from now on)!

its okay to mention stories more than once. thats how we support each other.
@InfraGreen ---No stars......I mean, who doesn't read this?!?!
@AuroraLockwood ----Just started The Family Black......just in time for Halloween >=)
@CitizenErased14
I kinda started backwards on Ashes to Ashes, but after I finish Harper's story I will definitely be catching up on previous generations.
@pammiechick
I haven't read in a while, but I am almost up to generation 2!! I absolutely adore Alex and Knight <333
@Cement
Same as above, but you seriously have the best screenshots i have ever seen. i don't know how you do it. Also a really unique story!
Thank you so much for reading, @Acarb90 ! I really do recommend going back and reading the past generations when you can I think it'll really help you understand and appreciate Harper's generation a lot more!
Thank you for the shout out, @CathyTea ! I'll try to keep my writing pace at least somewhat good so that there will be more to read.
I've also been reading lots and lots of Alien Adoption stories. They are so cute, and I too love the lore and the connections that have started to shape around them. It's so great!
I've also been keeping up with the stuff on my reading list, which is nice because I feel so busy now, so at least I can manage that. The list is long.
Also I have to agree with others and say that @pronterus 's Undead with Benefits is indeed very much worth the read. I'm so glad that story is back!
My Sims stories: The Fey of Life - fairytales in life are few and far between (Forum thread HERE) The Chrysanthemum Tango - a story about life, death, magic, and how to be a good landlady (Forum thread HERE) Forget-Me-Not - some things just refuse to stay buried; an Ambrosia Challenge story (Forum thread HERE)
@Rainydayz179Curses: I adore this story! Written in largely documentary style, readers follow the lives of a huge, extended family. It was supposed to be an uglacy, but--oops! These are some of the most adorable Sims ever!
Thank you @CathyTea for the mention. Until very recently I had 20 sims in the household but am back down to 16 now. I have chapters pre-written for most of October with daily updates. It's not a challenge more like family play with some restrictions in the form of curses. And like CT mentioned, in the beginning, I'd wanted to see how many generations it would take to make the sims look prettier. Then I wanted to keep them "ugly" as long as possible. Now, I'm just loving them however they turn out! The curses:
Ugly (kinda past that for the most part)
Can't have a home larger than 25 tiles (Tiny Living) But at the moment there are 8 tiny houses one for each "family."
Can't leave the lot
Have to marry the first marriageable sim they see on their young adult birthday.
I'm not familiar with this thread but it seems pretty cool so I'll sub to it for future use! Thanks again!
Further, I cannot possibly thank you enough for bringing up @mastressalita because I didn't know about Teatime Tuesday. Words can't express my love for tea, and this makes my day (and every Tuesday from now on)!
@Karilan Aww, that just made my whole day, thank you! Since the beginning of last year I just released them on my Simlit blog, but at the beginning of this month I moved them all onto their own blog because I felt like they didn't have much readership and thus were just cluttering up the Readers of my site Followers who weren't interested in that content. I'm trying to branch myself out into some tea forum communities, like Steepster, since the blog is tiny since splitting off from my main blog I looooooove collecting and sampling tea! It's been such a fun journey and can't wait to continue it! During the month of September I did Harry Potter blends and held a "Harry Potter House Cup... of Tea!" and this month I'm embarking on a journey for the best pumpkin tea out there (I am a bonified pumpkinholic and not ashamed of it). I've done a lot of other interesting themes over the last year... last February I looked at dessert blends, in June for Pride Month I featured a tea of each color of the rainbow, etc.
I have two more to add to my "what I'm reading" list!
@15aewar 's Rendora's Sim Stories - She's got two stories started on this blog, and I'm really enjoying both! @AdamsEve1231 and other Goth-lore fans, I think you'll love The Shadow over Newcrest, especially!

So many good stories, too! Welp, there goes my free time!

@CathyTea Just had to sneak and thank you for your kind (humbling, exhilarating) words! I know the Woodwards have been absent for a few days, but don't worry- they'll be back very very soon!
Big thank you's to @friendsfan367 and @MadameLee for plugging my #BuildNewcrest Simself Legacy. The feedback I am receiving gets me excited for future chapters.
My recent read has been @InfraGreen 's No Stars Over Uptown. A must read, but be aware this is more for mature adult reading and viewing.
For me I always turns Newcrest into a "kidnapping" hideout zone. No matter what..I guess my childhood games is what influenced it (as well as books like "Tom and Liz Austen mysteries" and "Nancy Drew")
In addition to what's already here, I'm reading The Sloane Legacy, by @Eddie Sims, The Bender Legacy by @friendsfan367, Dreams & Drama and The Duvall Diaries by @cecerose0208, The Castillo Legacy by @ny275 and her build Newcrest story are just a few I read right now.
