I'm generally surprised when I get gifted.
I'm not sure why.
I mean, I love giving presents, so it's not unusual that others do, too.
But when I'm gifted at random, by somebody I don't ... er ... I don't think I know ... well, I always feel a bit fraudulent.
Like it's a clerical error.
Y'see, I'm not an especially friendly person.
I'm certainly not a very kind or communicative person, especially compared to most of my fellow Simmers.
So if it's a matter of deserving a random gift, I certainly do not.
Mind you, I'll take it and be thankful.
I probably would have blogged about this on my Page over at the Exchange - doing so would break my record of Most Blog Posts Ever with a grand total of TWO (rawr) - but I'm back from a loooong absence, and I've noticed that folks seem to be moving a bit more over here than over there. And if you've given me something, I want you to know I am sincerely grateful.

I am not very talkative either. I am bad about coming back and replying to the thank you posts. I do read them and give a "like" or "Awesome" so they know I am aware they received my gift. Sometimes they will thank the wrong person and that just makes me smile because I know they received my gift and I by no means need to correct them, as I am not here for that, I am here throwing out gifts when I can because I love my Sims3 and love helping others the best I can.
I have moments where I think it best I keep quiet, because not everything I say seems to come out right
I did get my name on here changed this morning, got me a new Avi too. So in case you are wondering...........this is me

I think I should post a retroactive thank-you. I've been outrageously gifted in the past and I suspect I've been spotty about thanking everybody.

Thank you to @angryfish23, @aricarai, and @MangAnimeJe for goodies most undeserved but gratefully received since my return this past August.
Before my absence, I was blessed by gifts from a number of wonderful Simmers: @AnotherSimNut, @azara67, @BlueMurder, @ErnesaT, @JodiRebby, @Laella, @Mimisud, @Mmdrgntobldrgn, @mnevin25, @Morakai, @mrichelieu9, @nam24601, @Neashaleigh, @Patryk58448, @StellaToronto, @stickykisses, @The_PopTart, @thesims3boy, @villebro30, and last but in no way least, @whatsociallife.
I suspect a couple of those gifts are contest winnings, meaning that not only did I get a wonderful goodie, but I had a lot of fun because you organized a shindig for the community. If this is the first thank-you I've given you, please do note that I am a self-described jerk. I don't usually remember who gave me what (what a jerk), but I always remember which items in my inventory are presents, and they give me an extra lift when I play or build with them.
