The first quarterly teaser of 2017 came out on January 6 which was a Friday. They seem flexible, I doubt they're rigidly set on releasing it on a Tuesday.
Can't see it coming on July 4, they could if they wanted to but why would they want to? I hope the entire team is enjoying a break.

I didn't realise the last July teaser was so soon after July 4th. Tomorrow looks likely for the next teaser then!
BTW, we have the rather boring expressions "bank holiday", "bank holiday weekend" and "long weekend" here in the UK.
Here in Brazil when we have those 4 day weekends we usually say the holiday is being hanged. I have no idea how this started but everybody uses it even though it's quite weird to say that lol

When a holliday is at thursday or tuesday, then add friday or monday for a extra long weekend (by law here at Argentina president iis allowed to add only 2 per year)
Wow. That's really cool. It's not common for the US to have things like that. So you're lucky, even if it's only 2 per year. This isn't really a long weekend for most working people. I had the weekend off, but worked yesterday and am off work today.

Maybe bridge weekend is similar to "long weekend"? That's what we say here when the weekend is an extra day
ETA: to answer the original question, the teaser may still come this week but it won't be until Wednesday at the very earliest
Could be -- basically when a holiday is on a Tuesday some companies will close down for Monday because they know a lot of people will want the day off, just like the day after Thanksgiving in the United States is a holiday for some companies (not stores or public transportation).
The trailer could be released tomorrow or Thursday, or they may hold it till next Tuesday. I'm not expecting much -- maybe another SP or maybe they'll just work on some of the more annoying bugs.

I know. When I was little and my mum told me it was a bank Holiday I used to wonder where our local branch used to go for it's holiday, as if it was lounging on a beach somewhere.

Can someone explain to me please, do people go back to work on the 5th? or is another day needed to recover from the partying on the 4th?
Here in Norway we celebrate our constetution day on May 17th. That's in the middle of students exams, so alot of people have to take their exams on the 18th.
