Silly store question, but...

Let's say I own the Tiny Prodigies Learning Centre set from the TS3 store, and player A is looking to be gifted an item from it (ie the walker or playpen).

If I own that item and click on 'gift this item', will it remove it from my game and give it to A? Or will A receive his or her own copy of that item? I'm asking because there's usually a message stating that "gifting this item will cost x Simpoints", but that doesn't always appear and just has the option to add a message.

Sounds silly, but I want to be 100% certain before I start giving away things lol.

You can NOT gift what you've already bought for yourself. You have to pay again to gift the item to someone else.

Also to clarify: Gifting someone a store item that you own, does NOT mean you lose the store item for yourself. It should subtract the simpoints from you, and then both of you get to use it in your games.
