I'm juuust about finished with my build. The amount of vegetation that I placed is off the hook! I think the cost jumped by nearly 100,000 because of the plants alone.
haha I do love me a plant or two! Looking forward to it!!!!

So impressive so far!! I can't wait to write up my comments for you guys! Anyone else wants to enter there's 2 more days! I'm so flattered that anyone wants to participate at all!!! Thanks for the builds guys!
So I'm going to brainstorm today for the next challenge! I'll post it sometime today but I'm gonna look around for some inspiration! I've been happily busy in real life but today is my big lazy simmin' day! And I wanna come up with something really really good!
I love this idea. Thanks! I may not get to building a cave this week (but then again I might) but I've marked this thread and will definitely be following it!
Okay, so I made a waterfall home a while back that I wasn't completely happy with, but I'm in the process of taking out all the modernities and turning it into an ancient temple to the water spirits. I'm really struggling with finding a way to keep the running water...it is a temple to water spirits after all...but I can't seem to justify a toilet.

Gallery Link: Temple Beneath the Falls
Skill level: Established
Back story: Long ago, the ancient people of Simvlakia worshiped the spirits of the falls. They called them Mavki or Rusalki, spirits of girls who had died in childbirth, by drowning or by suicide. When archaeologists unearthed the secret temple behind and beneath the falls in hidden caves, they expected a great reception from the scientific community. What they got was an outcry from local families demanding to reclaim the temple as their own. Several women, claiming to be descendants of the priestesses of old have come forward to take over care of the temple. They plan to turn it into the great spiritual center for pilgrims that it once was. (This is so much fun! Thank you for the idea!)
Build has bedrooms for pilgrims, temple room, ante-room with temple library, two swimming/diving pools, High priestess room, lower caves have eternal sacred flame (cookfire) and two small grills for herbal brewing. There are yoga mats near the back fountain, a bonfire area in a sacred grove of birch. One hidden toilet in one of the bathrooms...figure the waterfall sent enough water pressure to not need electricity for baths or sinks.

Back story: This early Medieval structure was built by a small group of Master brick builders somewhere in Southern Asia. They were very proud of their brick skills and all the adults in the community learned the trade. The elders of the group looked after all the children together in this building. Their kids theme park made entirely of brick was even more elaborate but unfortunately they picked the wrong building tool for an earthquake prone area and almost all trace of the tribe vanished after the late Middle Ages.
