I spent most of my time play testing a new venue lot for Kat this past day and a half.
Rodeo Go-Go, an EA lot found in Starlight Shores. It needed just a little sprucing before I placed it down for Kat.
The stage uses some unlocked Sim Port items from MTS since I will never use this feature.
Here is my problem... Sims can't sit at the tables to enjoy the show. I didn't touch this spot so it's just as EA made it. By the end of her show I ended up removing the fireplace by the bar to scoot back the table area. Hopefully that will fix it but I won't know until the next show.
Nighttime (my favorite. I loved the other mod, but the night in this one is much better):
Rodeo Go-Go looks really good. I can't recall which lot, but I recall there being a lot that my sims couldn't use the tables near the stage. I don't think I ever fixed it, though (never put any effort into figuring it out).
@GITTE2001 I'm thinking I'm gonna just get thru the days until Leonidas birthday this play and just keep pictures to a minimum. I have all EA worlds (EP's and Store worlds).
Your night pics do look much brighter. Glad you finally found a mod like this. I love burnt waffles lighting mods... I feel like I've tried them all over the years. It's refreshing to use the Nilxis one for me but I agree, nights can be very dark.
Willow wished to rake leaves early morning. She had some fun with her mother before the bus arrived.
Kat walks around in her career outfit constantly. I think all the fame has gone to her head. I figured she could use a tiny makeover.. new hairstyle and heavier makeup.
I sent her and Stiles to the new venue for a date.
Upstairs there's a jukebox, pool table, foosball table, dominoes, photo booth, darts, and two arcade machines.
Downstairs the proprietor passed on and I was bummed out grimmy didn't want to hang.
These pictures will never see the light of day.
Kat is now lvl 8 Singer.
Stiles is now lvl 8 Sculptor. He has completed the skill challenges Chiselmeister and Master Sculptor.
I actually quit playing early and got a bit down on my unpacking, so I feel like I should reward myself with a bit more forums time and some more simming in a bit.
@GITTE2001 Interesting turn of events... so is Pauline being a good friend to Morgana, therefore Thornton a cheating dog or is Pauline just a nosy, busy body and Morgana and Thornton really are on the brink of divorce. Will be interesting to see what it will be.
@Simasaurus09 Kids seemed to be obsessed with leaf piles. Willow sure makes it look cute, though. Kat looks good with her makeover, too. Just imagine how she'll be when she's a lvl 10. Looks like they had a lot of fun on their date Despite the elderly woman up and dying on the lot.

@GITTE2001 I've been playing like mad crazy as I usually do after a simming break. @ChelleJo I voted Twinbrook. No reason really. You should install ellacharmed's fixed version if you do end up moving there to fix routing issues. Willow will be moving to Lucky Palms once Gen 2 kicks off. I already have so many plans...
@Simasaurus09 Is ellacharmed's fixed version fairly simple to install? I think I looked at one of her other fixed world files and got confused so I just played with the regular version. I'll google and see what I can find for twinbrook, just in case.
This has not been a good idea. The next morning she woke up, feeling all dizzy and nauseous. Her body felt like it has been turned around a thousand times. When she felt how a bunch of vomit was getting up to her mouth, she immediately started running to the toilet.
She knew what this meant. What else could it be? She left Thornton, who was still sleeping, alone and went for a run. She needed some time to think.
It was noon when she arrived at some karaoke bar, at the other end of the village. She wanted to go inside to rest a bit - but there was nobody else as Pauline Wan.
She wanted to turn around, but, too late: Pauline already saw her, dropped her micro and with those some bullets-shooting eyes, she said: "Thornton didn't come home this night, Morgana told me. You clearly didn't listen?"
"Indeed. Why would I? Just mind your own business!"
Then it happened. Barely realizing what happened, Kat felt how Pauline grabbed her and seconds later, they were fighting. Pulling each other's hair and scratching like a wild kitten.
Kat won.
The next few days, the weekend, was horrible. Kat vomited at the most inpredictable moments and in town, everyone stared at her. ("She fought with Pauline Wan" "Yes, I know. It's because she has an affair with Thornton Wolff.")
A Thornton she didn't see anymore. When she had come home that day, he was gone.
Now she was free from work and had no one to do things with, since everyone avoided her, she used the time to take some guitar lessons.
She spent the rest of the day in the fitness centre.
...Until a certain someone was there. Thornton. He didn't talk to her - gosh, he didn't even look at her - but she couldn't help but wanting to tell him everything. He needed some explanation. She left out of the blue and fought with his wife's friend.
So she did. "Thornton!" She called. "I'm sorry! I was confused and well...I had to do some things. Sorry that I left you alone. You must have been pretty angry when you woke up and found yourself in my house, without me. By the way...I'm pregnant, I think."
She expected a lot, but no this. "Pregnant? Really?"
"Yes?"
"Well, then don't expect anything from me! If there's anything I hate more than Morgana at the moment, it are those stupid children she wants!"
Then he was gone.
It was a saturday she fought, and therefore it's the first fight of the fighter thingy.
I didn't log in yesterday; so I read, but did not comment on everyone's stories. You all seem to be moving full steam ahead!
The Poll for where to move just gives me an page titled move, but empty. Maybe my ad blocker blocks it?!
Everyone seems to have a different idea on where to move. I say move to where ever it'll be easiest to accomplish the generational goals. (Yeah, a lot of help I am!)
I got Kat and Tiberius back home from uni and invited Ashley over. I see an option for ask to be roommate, but I didn't see the ask to move in. I'll have to search for more help on that one since neither Kat or Tiberius are romantically interested in Ashley.
I updated @kethrydrake and @GITTE2001 updates to the 1st page. I just woke up, so once my brain is functioning and I've had some coffee in me, I'll read and comment on them both.
@ciane Yesterday I changed polls and updated my link in the post above to just be on my blog. You might try it again. Sometimes I have a bit of trouble inviting sims to move in. What I do is queue up a bunch of "ask" actions under friendly. Ask about day, ask career (even if they know it)... sometimes I have to repeat a couple, but eventually, the "ask to move in" will pop up.
I moved my family to Twinbrook after Kat's death. I subsequently married Kelvin off to his second wife. It is a very good thing that she is not responsible for contributing to the next generation...(check out her picture on the family tree http://familyecho.com/?p=S6SPQ&c=ru36p42ouu&f=880221100220684605). She is one ugly sim...However she is the only sim that fit the criteria: heterosexual female with the LTW of Paranormal Profiteer since she needs to be a Ghost Hunter.

@ChelleJo ellacharmed's instructions can be a bit confusing. She has a blog with only some of the world fixes uploaded in a single file... Twinbrook is on MTS only it seems. How long do you have Loki's lifespan set to? @GITTE2001 I have faith Kat will manage just fine as a single mom. Pauline has the worst luck when it comes to running into Kat it seems. (haha) You're using Primer as your skin default, right? @kethrydrake Hurray for Kaiden completing the top of his career. @ciane As Chelle said... Spam friendly and that should do the trick. Congrats to Tiberius on maxing his handiness skill and making friends. Kat is becoming quite the party animal. Woohoo awesome 4.0 GPA and completing her LTW. The house is very spacious now and I agree, looks great! Can't wait to see more whenever you come back.

He only aced all his courses under my direction. He still only had a B average because he had a lot of credit hours already when he married Kat. However, since you felt that it was only important that he get a 4.0 on everything after he came under my control, I do NOT plan to send him back for another degree. In game, it just means that he starts with a lower salary than if he had a 4.0 average. Kat is starting at $30 an hour and Tiberius starts with $26 an hour. Of course, they have different jobs too.
Yes, everyone is flourishing. Unfortunately, my Sims 3 game crashed...so I have to replay 3 days over. Grr...Quentin is only 6 days away from YA. The "quads" are 3 days away...Robin is close to his final promotion. Gunnar finished his LTW. Kelvin is close to his last promotion and has saved 30/50 sims. Mozzy is level 5 Ghost Hunter (Paranormal Profiteer is super easy compared to the other LTWs that came with Ambitions. She just has to max her career.)
@GITTE2001 Just wondering. I wanted to use it as my default when I started this save but for some reason Kat had an extreme tan. She looks fine in your game. @kethrydrake Sorry to hear. Trust me, it's worth it to get into the habit of saving often. I probably save at least once every sim day and save again if anything good happens. I also use "Save As" instead of "Save" to prevent any corrupt saves.
My game has always rolled this lifetime wish suggestion for kids. It happens to be the perfect fit for Willow.
Stiles received an award and completed his lifetime wish. Sculpting has really paid off nicely. It might of been a mistake using the Consignment store to sell all of his creations. Now that he has completed another skill challenge (Prolife Sculpter), he can craft for free so I may cut out the Consignment store.
Willow says good bye to Hardy setting him free. There's no room in the house and he seems to have a strong will to live.
Very late in completing this Miscellaneous Fun roll (It's So YOU!) but it's still technically Generation 1.
It's so YOU - when the heir reaches YA, remake every room in the house to match the favorites and traits of their owners. Each bedroom should match their owners, and the general rooms should match those of the Sims who use them most, or the heir and heir's spouse. The heir's children should also have rooms in their favorite color(s).

For the kitchen I just had fun with it. Every one uses that room. I made a mistake and bought a trash compactor thinking it was a dishwasher. It took me a few sim days to notice. I wondered why everyone kept using the bathroom sink for dishes.
Same thing goes for the bathroom but I didn't do much with the bathroom.
13 days left in this house and town after Willow's birthday then Generation 2 will kick off. They have more money then I would like so I don't know what I will do with the extra cash... Maybe I'll make it a personal rule to cheat away a certain amount with each generation.
