Hello! I'm a new mac user and could use some help, having issues after latest patch

So, none and I mean none of my cc or mods will work. They all worked great before the patch. I'm a brand new sims 4 and mac player but old time sims 3 and pc player. I never had this issue on pc with sims 3. Can someone help me out please? Thanks so much!

Shoot, I forgot to say if I put my cc/mods in my mods folder...my game refuses to even start

You can't compare Sims 3 and Sims 4 as they are completely different games due to 3 being non-native and 4 being native to macOS.

Sounds like your Mods/CC need updating as they aren't compatible with the latest patch. Does your game load without any of them? Have you tried moving them all out and then back into the Mods folder in small batches to weed out the ones that don't work?

A patch will usually disable your mods/cc. This happens to me after most patches. You just need to enable them again by going to the options menu in your game. Select 'Enable custom content and mods' and then restart your game.

must need updating...I just moved them all out and have kept them in a folder on my desktop. game loads just fine without them
