Love some of the examples here displaying how the game is just so gorgeous. Still boggles my mind when people say Sims 4 has better graphics.
I often forget that for many of them they had to have the graphics turned way down because their PC couldn't handle it. I've seen some pics with the graphics turned down and it's not pretty - so in that respect I can understand why they are gah-gah over the graphics in TS4. It's definitely not my cup of tea, but to some extend it's understandable. Especially if this is coming from younger people who grew up with Pixar movies, since I think it's a very similar look.

@Mikezumi Your form was horrible but luckily the ball bounced off that kids head,hit the ceiling rolled then off the concession stand into the lane for a perfect strike.All about the end result.
Recently I've been wanting to play TS3 again, and when I saw all those lovely pictures in this thread I felt really inspired to think of an interesting little story and act it out in the game! So, I've just created a new family and moved them to Bridgeport. Here they are:
From left to right: Scarlett Grady, Chloe Grady and Julian Myers. Chloe and Julian have been together since their sophomore year in high school and of course they've been inseparable ever since. Actually, they've been engaged for quite some time now and decided that they want to experience the life in a big city, thus moving from the quiet suburbs to the bustling city. Chloe's sister Scarlett, who wants to be a movie star, more or less invited herself to come live with Chloe and Julian, even though she can't stand Julian (the feeling's mutual, by the way ;D). However, she believes that moving to Bridgeport will help her fueling her career plans. Chloe is concerned about living with her sister and her fiancée because the knows how much they dislike each other. However, at the same time she's also very excited to finally leave behind the suburbs for good and pursue her career in the music industry. Julian, on the other hand, is still quite indecisive regarding his future...all he knows is that he wants to marry Chloe and be with her. So...I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the future actually holds in store for him. ;D
Here's another picture of the three. I've used some CC and pose packs, but no custom sliders. I think all three of them turned out alright. ^^

But apparently no taxi needed for Paxton. He zipped through Meadow Glen traffic just fine carefully balancing his newborn alien son in his arm. I thought to myself, "Wow, Paxton is quite the accomplished biker!"
But then, when he got home, his secret was revealed: dull reality strikes again!
He's got a special grip on that baby which seems to defy gravity. I dunno what it is. Super glue? Super velcro? Some heretofore unseen alien power?
Maybe Paxton just has the magic hands.
Completely unrelated yet still so dull, here is a perfectly dull roller coaster ride:
And a rainbow in Meadow Glen. That house in the lower left is where my sims are living. The rainbow is right over my sims' house!

Have you played World Adventures? Have you done the Abu Simbel tomb in Al Simhara? There's a maze in that tomb with 2 paths, one red and one blue. The maze in broken into sections with plaques you have to read. The plaques give hints which patch (red or blue) is safe and which is deadly with fire traps. One of the clues tells you to take the path with the color of the top of the rainbow. The top of the rainbow. The clue doesn't tell you whether they mean the top of a rainbow like in the picture above, or the top of a rainbow like in the pictures in the page below:
So, I've been playing my new household for a little while now and I think I kind of fell in love with TS3, haha. It's just been so much fun lately. Also, my new-ish laptop can handle the game well, it looks quite pretty and there is so much for me to do with my Sims and it just really excites me. My favourite iteration has always been TS2, but to be honest, it might eventually have to share this title with TS3. ;D
Anyway, here are some ~dull~ pictures I'd like to share with you all:

I really like Scarlett's expression in this picture...she looks genuinely annoyed. She may not be able to poop angrily, but I can still tell that something's up with her. ;D (Sorry, I had to...)
In the meantime, Julian's fiancée and Scarlett's sister Chloe decides to leave the two squabblers behind and play her guitar in the park. She doesn't look very lifeless to me...quite the contrary, actually. But maybe that's just me. ^_^
