@Mikezumi Enjoyed the update. I like seeing the baby daddies hanging around. Great day, must have been free ice cream at the swimming pool. That was a lot of sims! Jensen and Troy look so cute in their flirting poses. Am sorry about Hob. It brought tears to my eyes. So sad even for pixel people. I'm glad he had company at the end and after woohoo is not a bad way to go.
@Emily4331 I didn't catch the stream, but, I think it is cool that y'all play together. Hubby and I play ESO together. We don't stream it though.
@emorrill I don't think I've ever seen a Sims2 video before. Thanks for sharing that. You sure knew what the sim was thinking and after the betrayal and fight, they didn't become best friends ala 4.

I had some issues with my launcher the last time I downloaded @CravenLestat patterns. So...I finally gave up and uninstalled Sims3 from my puter. I saved all the 'stuff' to desktop or the external drive. I still have the game on hubby's puter, but, that is the one that was lagging bad and have to figure that out. So, yesterday I uninstalled and cleaned up registry, did a few of those housekeeping tasks on the puter and then installed the base game only. Game didn't recognize my graphics card so I have to fix that, but, was able to go in game and graphics were not weird or off.
Started a game in SV with Christopher Steele which is totally against my mind set to use ea sims, but, some of y'all do it and decided to see what happened. He starts flirting with Lily Mae or something like that and then somebody Bainwright and ends up with two RI in the first day. He sure slept good that night! It is totally strange playing without my store stuff and without my cc!! I'm gonna add back EP's one at a time and then add a few store items and see how it goes, before adding any cc. I did put NRaas in, cannot play without it.

@Charlottesmom A council house is a house owned by the local council. The idea is that everyone can have their own house built to a good standard and you can pay the council rent and housing benefits can also help with the rent.
It was a good idea from the 19th centaury and took off after the 'Homes for Heroes act' of 1919 when soldiers returning from the First World War where thought of as being more deserving of better housing rather than living in substandard 'slums' so you have slum clearance programs and new housing estates going up until World War 2 when houses got bombed so after WW2 they had even bigger housing projects which lasted until the 'right to buy' scheme of 1979 when the government thought that it would be good to sell off houses so everyone could own their own home and housing was now handed to independent housing associations.
The thing is there where waiting lists for houses and they came to those most in need so the more children, the bigger the house maybe. This meant that you had some people who had loads of kids just for a bigger house and work shy people never needed to look for a job as they had benefits to pay for everything so some housing estates became filled with workshy people and some had bad reputations for crime. Those who could afford it would move away and problem families from other areas would get moved there bring the areas down even further.

@king_of_simcity7 Your council houses sound like our HUD houses here. There are a couple places in Jax where I do home visits that we don't go in evening or night without police escort. Pretty sad!
Housing and Urban Development AKA Projects for the most part as Bekkasan pointed out if they zone a area in your town with HUD houses prepare for the cops to be regular,rise in crime,and drugs.I grew up in them so know all too well.
@PalmArrow In my defence, Asala was little different to Cyd in that her traits were different and what she was doing was really unacceptable. Cyd argued and called people sell-outs but Asala always insulted the family and pointed and laughed at the kids while they had their birthdays. But, yes, it is mostly my personal perception that makes females harder to take. I guess psychiatrists could tell a lot about us simmers by our gaming preferences
@lanlyn Thank you I have to take extensive notes when the household meet up with sims outside the house I know the kids but their kids and their kids' kids is way too much to remember LOL The more there are, the harder it gets and as they age I also forget their names even though their faces are mostly familiar.
Hob would have been my choice as heir had I been playing a normal generational game so I felt it would be the right thing to give him a good last day. His headstone has been retrieved from the mausoleum and is on the family lot. He's back home, where she should be
That was really nice of you to fix that toddlers motives and buy him a toybox I like to keep toddler stuff in public places and I often max motives on toddlers and kids when I see them looking miserable when my sims are out and about.
The Desert Camp looks great! The wicker furniture in the dining area is perfect
@jillbg I made time because Hob was my favourite of the kids. It wasn't too hard to find the time since Jensen is between babies and the kids are of a manageable age. Managing the day was a little stressful with a busy household but well worth it to have Hob home for a special last day amongst loved ones

Sorry about your game problems The only time I use my launcher is when I downloaded store items, otherwise I only start my game (without disc) from the main exe file using Nraas No CD mod.
Going back to basics like that might actually be a fun experience, being able to relieve how you might have played the game when you first got it. I do agree about Nraas, though. I doubt I could go without MC and SP at this point. Good luck reintroducing CC - you might even find problem pieces or pieces you don't actually use.
@venusdemilosims I am so sorry that you were so sick I am glad you are on the mend and hope that you make a full and speedy recovery now that the infection has been diagnosed and treated.

@bekkasan You just befriend her like any sim once friendship is high enough it lets you pick up the grave and bring it home.Indoors it will be a urn,outdoors is a tombstone.You will get a oppurtunity from the science lab for "Oh my ghost" or easiest is to use the Philosophers stone LTR.Regardless you have to have her eat ambrosia to become real.Ambrosia requires high cooking skill,a expensive recipe book you buy at the bookstore,a death fish you catch after midnight in the graveyard pond.And last unless you want to garden life fruit which you can buydebug I will not hold it against you.But she is already a member of your house you said so ambrosia time.

Also Lolita Goth is a hottie ghost but like most ghosts she has the ghost pale skin tone sorta slightly but it does not work for her but she is really cute.If she had a regular skintone would be hot.

Okay so I had a draft saved and it shows me I haven't been here in a WHILE, so a quick rundown before I go on imgur and see what pics to use lol.
Jeremih and Micheal had three kids: Kira, De'Andre, and Jamal.
I got tired of males, so I went with Kira and sent her to university, where she met Jackson Oliver. She got arrested, which I didn't know was possible!
Dudley died a second and final time. I kept his pupper Ginny and she had puppies with Harry, a cute rottweiler I adopted. They had five pups and I kept one, Loki. He is as big as dad, same color, wide set ears but pricked up, and stubbed tail from momma. Cute doggo.
Back to the humans: Kira and Jackson both had the performer careers except Kira just had to constantly freeze on stage, so I made her quit and changed her LTW to maxing painting and guitar skills. She's currently maxed painting and decorating the house with brilliant/masterpiece level art. Saves a lot of money. Jackson is a level 7, about to be level 8, magician and currently racking in tons of dough. They had two kids, since they were performing a lot and I had no time to raise a third.
Now it's kinda funny cause None of the kids got Jeremihs hair color but Kiras daughter, Jayde, did! They had a son next, who is about to age to YA, and I named him Darren. He picked up Jacksons hair. I have Jayde as a doctor being her LTW, Darren is undecided but me thinks inventor will do. Never did that so this'll be interesting. Jayde is the first YA I'm letting live in the house since her career is bring in cash and I like it.
Gonna go with Darren when he ages next. Was gonna do Jayde but since i never had an inventor, gotta do him instead. I'll send them both to uni at the same time though.
That's my picture less update. Next one will have pictures. Of me killing of Ginny and Harry (too many dogs in home), moving, the kiddos... You know the usual. It's kinda weird going from 8 kids to three then just two... Almost boring...

@Charlottesmom A council house is a house owned by the local council. The idea is that everyone can have their own house built to a good standard and you can pay the council rent and housing benefits can also help with the rent.
It was a good idea from the 19th centaury and took off after the 'Homes for Heroes act' of 1919 when soldiers returning from the First World War where thought of as being more deserving of better housing rather than living in substandard 'slums' so you have slum clearance programs and new housing estates going up until World War 2 when houses got bombed so after WW2 they had even bigger housing projects which lasted until the 'right to buy' scheme of 1979 when the government thought that it would be good to sell off houses so everyone could own their own home and housing was now handed to independent housing associations.
The thing is there where waiting lists for houses and they came to those most in need so the more children, the bigger the house maybe. This meant that you had some people who had loads of kids just for a bigger house and work shy people never needed to look for a job as they had benefits to pay for everything so some housing estates became filled with workshy people and some had bad reputations for crime. Those who could afford it would move away and problem families from other areas would get moved there bring the areas down even further.

@king_of_simcity7 Your council houses sound like our HUD houses here. There are a couple places in Jax where I do home visits that we don't go in evening or night without police escort. Pretty sad!

Hob would have been my choice as heir had I been playing a normal generational game so I felt it would be the right thing to give him a good last day. His headstone has been retrieved from the mausoleum and is on the family lot. He's back home, where she should be

@jillbg I made time because Hob was my favourite of the kids. It wasn't too hard to find the time since Jensen is between babies and the kids are of a manageable age. Managing the day was a little stressful with a busy household but well worth it to have Hob home for a special last day amongst loved ones

Sorry about your game problems
Going back to basics like that might actually be a fun experience, being able to relieve how you might have played the game when you first got it. I do agree about Nraas, though. I doubt I could go without MC and SP at this point. Good luck reintroducing CC - you might even find problem pieces or pieces you don't actually use.

Also Lolita Goth is a hottie ghost but like most ghosts she has the ghost pale skin tone sorta slightly but it does not work for her but she is really cute.If she had a regular skintone would be hot.

Jeremih and Micheal had three kids: Kira, De'Andre, and Jamal.
I got tired of males, so I went with Kira and sent her to university, where she met Jackson Oliver. She got arrested, which I didn't know was possible!
Dudley died a second and final time. I kept his pupper Ginny and she had puppies with Harry, a cute rottweiler I adopted. They had five pups and I kept one, Loki. He is as big as dad, same color, wide set ears but pricked up, and stubbed tail from momma. Cute doggo.
Back to the humans: Kira and Jackson both had the performer careers except Kira just had to constantly freeze on stage, so I made her quit and changed her LTW to maxing painting and guitar skills. She's currently maxed painting and decorating the house with brilliant/masterpiece level art. Saves a lot of money. Jackson is a level 7, about to be level 8, magician and currently racking in tons of dough. They had two kids, since they were performing a lot and I had no time to raise a third.
Now it's kinda funny cause None of the kids got Jeremihs hair color but Kiras daughter, Jayde, did! They had a son next, who is about to age to YA, and I named him Darren. He picked up Jacksons hair. I have Jayde as a doctor being her LTW, Darren is undecided but me thinks inventor will do. Never did that so this'll be interesting. Jayde is the first YA I'm letting live in the house since her career is bring in cash and I like it.
Gonna go with Darren when he ages next. Was gonna do Jayde but since i never had an inventor, gotta do him instead. I'll send them both to uni at the same time though.
That's my picture less update. Next one will have pictures. Of me killing of Ginny and Harry (too many dogs in home), moving, the kiddos... You know the usual. It's kinda weird going from 8 kids to three then just two... Almost boring...
