    GT650M vs 750M in GraphicsCards.sgr

    Hi all,

    I was looking through the GraphicsCards.sgr, and found that the 650M (Mac) is listed as an "Uber" graphics card, meanwhile the 750M (also Mac) is only listed as a "High" card.

    Does anyone have an explanation to why this might be? I thought the 750M was the successor to the 650M?

    Could this be a mistake?

      The 700 series came after the 600 series. comparing the two cards it seems the GT 650m is slightly a better card than the GT 750m but says the Gt 750 is the winner of the two cards.

      Thanks for the link. I was looking at benchmarks on other websites, and most show that the 750M is better, but in the conclusion sections, the 650M is always listed as the better one. It's really weird.

      Also don't understand why the 650M is an Uber card, in my opinion it's a High card.

      Your welcome .I have no idea. My only thought is that when they put uber they meant desktop card GTX 650. Laptop cards are always weaker than their version of the desktop card. It might be a typo. This game requires on PC desktop a GTX 650 or better . Mac is different.

      AH, good point. Thanks for that as well, lol. They probably referred to the GTX650 then.

      Your welcome and I think so on the GTX 650 desktop. They added the Mac version later and probably forgot or did not bother changing the SGR files.

      I have the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1Gb, these are my settings:

      It plays beautifully.

      The GTX 650 is listed separately and obviously has a different Device ID:
      card 0x11c2 "GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
      card 0x11C6 "GeForce GTX 650 Ti" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
      card 0x11c3 "GeForce GTX 650 Ti" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
      card 0x0FC6 "GeForce GTX 650" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
      card 0x11c8 "GeForce GTX 650" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh

      650M
      card 0x0FD5 "GeForce GT 650M" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
      card 0x0FD1 "GeForce GT 650M" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh

      The GraphicsCard.sgr files are the same for both the Windows and Mac versions of the game.
