    Just got a new update, 11/1/2016 RESOLVED

    I just opened Origin and had a new update waiting for The Sims. It was very small, around 34 megabytes or so. I don't see it mentioned anywhere here, or did I just miss it. Was it to fix some of the glitches with the last patch, anyone know?

      I think there was a fix for Mac users. Are you using a Mac?

      Yes. I use both a PC and a Mac but I'm on my Mac now and that's where I got the update.

      Edited to add that I haven't tried my PC. I'll have to do that when I get home tonight.

      We released an e-patch for Mac-only last Friday that was about that size. If you haven't played since then, it's probably that. The patch fixed an intermittent failure to launch.

      I haven't played since then so that must have been it. I was having a problem launching my game on my Macbook (but not my PC), so thanks for the fix!

      FYI: In case anyone is as behind as I have been in keeping up with everything, the update was successful in fixing the launch problem. I launched 3 times with no errors. Thanks again! :)
