    @carlymichelle Such a cute baby! :)

    @TadOlson Cool update! :)

@Silverofdreams30 Lovely pictures of your fourlegged friends! :D

@venusdemilosims Jana seems intelligent, so she should understand she shouldn't ask all those questions at table with other people around!

@Zabeth0 Of course you're not annoying! It was just the expression of Tristan in the cage that was so Edward-eternally-suffering-Cullen like! I also use the Crumpelbottoms, and I've never watched Charmed either! But I've read the Twilight series, and as a highschool teacher I have to stay in touch with teen stuff, so yes, I've seen the films!

I hope Zelda will be able to face the bars and rescue the poor guy inside. Somehow it must be rewarding for her to destroy a cage and liberate the prisoner, just as she once were freed! :) It would be so much easier if she could grow as a person without going through hell and back! :s Please send them somewhere nice, with no vampires or other witches and as far from Granny as possible!

They enjoy the Love Motel Spa facilities.
    tgw-02-33-59.jpg

And they hit the Kraken Casino Lucky Palms in the evening.

But is the wishing well keeping its promises?

    @carlymichelle Such an adorable baby!

@Silverofdreams30 Lol that part they got right, the pets preferring to sleep in the humans' bed. Nice pics of Eve and her animals.

@jillbg One of Jana's traits is Socially Awkward ;) so yeah that could explain her tendencies to do the wrong thing at the wrong time - including annoying Kaydence, lol. She's book smart but not people smart, in an even more extreme fashion than Kaydence is. Kaydence does have the benefit of coming into the relative cocoon of the large Jolina-Plumb clan, most of which are also eccentric in their own ways ;)
Granny sure is a high roller isn't she? Lol she and her friends having a grand old time in Lucky Palms... but how long will the fun last?

Before leaving on our trip, I think I stopped commenting back on page 767. I want to respond to all these fun updates.

@TadOlson I really liked your picture of Tad fishing in the pool. She's a cutie. Love seeing her with the sketch pad too. It's almost as big as she is! ...It looks like Eli and Ami's greenhouse is going to be pretty good size. ...And Tanner and Tracy's home is looking nice too. ...Still enjoying your Sims 2 versions of Eli and Ami. ...Fall in Storybrook County is lovely. ...Glen Harbor is also a pretty world, as is Deery Meadows. Great worlds. ...That's the first time I've seen a baby in CAS. Must be because of the CC outfits, right?

@venusdemilosims Glad your "new" laptop is working out for you. The graphics for your screenshots look good. And hope your desktop issues get resolved too. ...Loved the conversation between Sage and her mother. Savannah's memories of a younger Sage. ...I liked how you compared Sage to a gentle breeze and Sierra to a tornado! ...The comment about Kaydence being raised mostly by Sebastian was interesting. It gave me more insight into her personality and his. Softened me a bit towards her father.

...I wonder how Savannah will be able to pull off the park wedding for Sage while still inviting all the family? ...Fun reference to the ghostbusters movie. ...Enjoyed seeing Savannah's ghosthunter pics. ...Looks like Kaydence may need to take Jana seriously. Anxious to see what she has to say. Liz is an interesting girl too. ...And hope you're feeling better now.

@jillbg Love the Greetings from Lucky Palms photo. ...Chapter 2-33. Having just gotten off the plane a couple of days ago, I loved the "seat backs and tray tables" reference. And Frommer's, which we used last summer when we were in Hawaii. (Well, I used the digital edition of Frommer's on my tablet.) ...Loved the checking-in scene! Too funny. ...Missy is such a character. And so is Juan. ...Fun seeing Mr Lestat in your story! ...Arthur is so sweet. ...The last pic of Missy and Juan was great.

...Chapter 2-34. LOL at Missy getting Juan's credit card! ...Loved the horse riding scenes. Beautiful scenery too. ...BTW, I can see the resemblance between Granny (Tara) and Taïga. ...Great dialog with the security crew and the cameras. ..."The guy in checkers!" Lots of gambling excitement! ...But that hotel receptionist! Clueless.

@Silverofdreams30 Love Eve. Her pets are adorable too. I understand not wanting to go too quickly into a romance and family for her. The pets will keep her busy though! ...Bogey is adorable. And Thunder is a beautiful horse. I like Socks' coat markings. I think pets are well done in Sims 3. I like to have them in game.

@Zabeth0 Yes, even if I base my sims on fiction or real people, I always end up changing their story around a bit. I use their personalities and circumstances, then put them in new environments, let them play it out. Sims will be sims! Yep, Quinn will have a daycare center and a pub. LOL

...RE: Juneau. There weren't too many bugs around the area. I didn't see one mosquito! Not like Fairbanks. But we didn't hike too far into the woods either. Maybe the bugs were hiding out there! HA! But actually, I found the roads and parks very clean and well maintained. It's a really beautiful area. Those photos were taken with just a cell phone. I'd have loved to be able to focus the camera in closer with some of the areas we visited. Breathtaking. They even have a ski area on Douglas Island too.

...Granny is one scary witch! She's so powerful. I guess she crushed (or ate) any of her competition down through history! ...Zelda using fire on Lavinia! Wow! All these witches are toughs. ...Yuck! Lavinia's ashes in Zelda's hair! ...Anxious to see what Zelda does with the boy in the cage.

@msbeckycat I see that you've changed from blogspot to wordpress. Will all your updates now be on the new site? I changed the link I have on my blog page for your blog to the new wordpress one. I like the slideshow format you have now.

@wolfkomoki1 I enjoyed the carnival pics of Raina and Cornelia. ...Great pictures of the ghost Travis reuniting with his family. Interesting how the ghosts in Sims 4 change color.

@Simmerville Thanks for sharing the pics. I'll look through your blog today. The stories look great. I love the idea of a B&B. I've added your blog to my Blogspot Dashboard reading list and put a link to it on my own blog.

@carlymichelle What beautiful baby pictures! Really awesome.

@lanlyn Welcome back! Sounds like you had a wonderful vacation. From the pictures, Juneau is lovely.
Yes, the laptop is definitely working out for me, but since it's used I want to try to be careful with it. I want it to last awhile! Lol
I agree, you can imagine Savannah's feelings as she prepares for her firstborn daughter's wedding. She's a jumble of emotions.
Kaydence being 'raised' mostly by Sebastian explains a lot. The arrangement was the result of a protracted custody battle that consumed nearly a year of her childhood. The battle only came about because Savannah pressed her brother into fighting for custody as his relationship with Kaydence's mother, Madison, was ending.
I use that term 'raised' loosely because for most of Kaydence's childhood, she was the parent, lol. Remember she kept up with his schedule, etc, and reminded him about his meetings.
Sebastian has his faults, definitely, but there is one thing he is to be given credit for, especially in regards to Kaydence. He basically got out of her way while she developed her interests and talents. He didn't discourage her in her pursuit of knowledge; instead, he encouraged her.
After the custody battle, Kaydence's mother, Madison, didn't spend nearly as much time with her, and concentrated mostly on her burgeoning singing career. Remember, neither of Kaydence's parents were in any way, shape, or form fit or ready to be parents. And these parents ended up with an especially bright and precocious child.
As for Jana, yeah, I do think Kaydence has to take her seriously. She is as smart as Kaydence is and just a year older, so she's as much of a prodigy as Kaydence is. As I was telling Zabeth0, I think Jana has definitely made Kaydence a little unnerved. And as you know, being unnerved is not normal for a customer as cool as Kaydence. Remember, this is the same girl who stood in front of a judge as a 6 year old and replied to his question about who she wanted to live with in no uncertain terms, 'Do I have to live with either of them?'
Liz Tarry is a University townie and one of CravenLestat's favorites, lol. I had to write about her as soon as she cropped up next to Kaydence in the diner. I checked out her page on sims wiki and she's a technology major. Apparently she'd graduated (I checked her degree with Nraas) so maybe she's mentoring the younger girls. Who knows.

@TadOlson I like the remodeled home for the Jankowskys.

@Wolfkomoki1 Calvin was a teen when he ran away? What happened to him?

@Silverofdreams30 That is a darling foal! The wild horse looks a lot like Thunder. Cute pic of Socks and Bogey eating.

Zelda: She couldn't deal with her anger at the moment, she left him there, rather than risk giving into it, turned on her heel and walked out of the room...she needed to break something or burn something...she needed to use her power, and not on him. She still needed to burn the altar beds, that was part of the chore...and conveniently gave her something to burn that wouldn't hurt her conscience later when the bars weren't in her face, reminding her. Four years of helpless terrifying misery she didn't need to remember.

He was a vampire, but he reminded her of Deedee...standing there, covered in her mother and aunt's plasma, in the cage with her...only of course he wasn't a child and his expression spoke to knowing exactly how much trouble he was in. And all of that plasma was probably his...vampires healed from their wounds; their clothes didn't. Those bars were magical, and embedded with silver runes...and there were two low sunlight lamps on the floor there, those didn't just slow him down, they slowed his healing down too; Lavinia had clearly been torturing him. So, Zelda did not understand at all why part of her wanted to burn him; he should be the one vampire in here that she didn't want to set off like a firework.

    2h7otqq.jpg

Zelda: Maybe dealing with inanimate objects would help her. To her delight, not a single vampire had stuck around except the boy in the cage. Yes, he was only a few years younger than her, but she was 19 and really really sick of being thought of as a teenager. She was an adult! She was married! She could vote! Those few years were a huge difference! So, yeah, he was totally a boy in the cage...she should be more than happy to get the poor kid out. Why wasn't she?

But again, why did she hate vampires all the sudden? She hadn't hated them before...they were just a useful servant creature that could be dangerous if you weren't careful. They were part of the background, like hospitals or taxis or telephone poles; they had their uses, they just didn't concern her. Now, they were in her face and she hated them. She rubbed her neck where a bite mark would be if it hadn't healed up with the sickening cold dark magic that they were powered by. It had to be her close call... she'd been scared; a vampire had gotten to her and almost ended her...and it had shaken her...and she was holding them all accountable. That had to be it. Of course, she knew that curing all vampires was not an option, and killing all vampires would not work either...just like she'd told Rafael, the universe would just make new ones out of humans. So, like it or not, newly afraid of vampires or not, they were going to exist for the foreseeable future, she might as well just deal with it like a big girl! Perhaps her body was trying to get her to fight a vampire so she wasn't afraid of them...but she'd just burned Lavinia...so if that had been the answer, that would have been the end of it. Obviously it wasn't that easy. Fighting was so much easier; you didn't have to sit around and wonder what you were supposed to do!

Most of the altar beds were in a double row in a large room the size of a dining hall. Granny's 'Gardening shed' sure went on for rooms and rooms under ground and this was the first basement level? How many levels did she have? What did she consider her garden, all the trees of North Simerica? But she dared not ask. She probably barely got away with her life as it was. This favor had seemed like an easy favor...she was going to kill Lavinia anyway...after all...but she hadn't counted on her reaction to the bars, and to vampires themselves. Granny was humiliating her. She felt oddly grateful to Beatrice for suggesting going easy on her; she didn't even want to know what 'take Zelda down with you' would have gotten her. And then she felt weak for being somehow tricked into not hating Beatrice any more...she'd been totally robbed of her revenge there, and somehow Granny had made it so she didn't even want it. Why'd it have to be so confusing?

At least, there was no question in her mind whose room this was.

    k1cle0.jpg

Zelda: The others might as well have lived in barracks, but not Lavinia, she got her own private room.

    5n63ok.jpg

Zelda: Her breath caught in her throat, but she had to approach. Lavinia had blindfolded a 'witness'? This statue was probably three hundred years old. And it looked like she'd been rubbing a stone file on the statute to break it down, grinding it into sand laying in heap under the pedestal. The consciousness had been human, not a witch at all. Was Lavinia trying to torture a witness? But their consciousnesses were already torn out... And of course, the eyes on the statue had nothing to do with the way witnesses saw- witnesses saw in the same way people had 'out of body experiences' by the frayed ends of their consciousnesses degrading into figments...and it's not like they could feel their statue bodies...so this would be a painless waste of time trying to torture this long dead human. Who could this have been to her that she'd try such a thing? Then again, she tried to torture whoever she got her hands on, right? There was a kid vampire in a cage out there who might not have done a thing to her. Rafael hadn't. Zelda hadn't. She hated Lavinia more now than even when she'd burned her. Lavinia was so freaking evil she'd try to torture a statue! Surely that kid in the cage couldn't be that bad...well, not at this point, he was, after all, not yet full grown. She destroyed Lavinia's altar bed carefully, just disintegrating it and magically burning the green dust...barely ruffling the rug. She left everything else intact...Granny only required her to kill Lavinia and burn their altar beds...so she didn't need to destroy anything else... maybe Granny would appreciate the souvenirs. Zelda had Lavinia's earrings in her pocket as souvenirs- that would last longer than the ashes in her hair...they were magical so hadn't been destroyed by her fire, though Zelda did not know what the magic on them was, she would have to more carefully study them later. She might have to check with the crystal ball, but that was all for a day when she didn't absolutely hate having to think about these things. She walked out to the main room full of altar beds.

She walked into the middle of them. Smirking, she torched the rows of altar beds with magical fire, spinning around aiming her wand down and across at the beds; it took a lot of fire to melt stone...the red wax of the candles evaporated with a slight sizzle in the first pass, the lightly brass plated iron candlesticks melted like butter on a skillet, sliding across the stone and spilling on the floor. Then the stone shattered, sending bits of iron splotched stone skittering across the other beds which were also being shattered and then melted, as the heat became a full bath of white hot magical fire from her wand to the wall... It only took a few minutes to convert a large room into a mess of volcanic glass. When that was done, she magically converted the glass into ice and then melted that. No one would say she didn't burn the beds enough! She rather loved being able to open up with her magic. She felt cheated when duels were over too fast. She liked to win, but she enjoyed using her magic, there was a certain thrill to playing with the deeper powers of the universe.

    14u9d74.jpg

Zelda: She came back out, happily exhausted and feeling better, and intending to just walk over and let him out...but when she walked back into the room...her eyes hit the bars again, and they roared in her mind. But the anger was mostly spent...now it was dread. Her energy level dropped away. But in order to get him out of the bars...she would have to get closer to the bars. Which meant that she'd have to walk forward...and not away. Being that every bit of her wanted to turn and escape the room again, this was a challenge!

    mrzr49.jpg

Zelda: She needed to get him out...but did she have to do it now? Yes, of course she had to do it now...while technically, Granny had given her all week, she wasn't going to come back and face the bars again. And if there was anything worse than letting a vampire out of a cage and having to be within easy arms reach...letting a hungry vampire out would be worse. He hadn't been caught long, if she understood Granny's comment...which who knows, she couldn't trust that she did. But no more! Just this one time...and then she'd never have to look at the bars again!...hopefully. Just get it over with, she told herself, irritated that she was hesitating. Seriously, had someone whisked her brains, what was wrong with her? She managed to take a step forward...then another. The vampire wasn't looking at her...was he pretending he didn't see her? Was he going to lunge at her once she managed to open the bars? Was he going to drag her into the cage and drink her there? If so, at least she wouldn't be trapped in the cage long... but she hadn't used all of her magic melting the beds, so...but she was still exhausted... she would lose, but it would not be a fun fight for him either. The bars menaced her. Technically, Granny did tell her she could leave him in the cage... but Zelda knew that she couldn't...she would leave the room and then be mad at herself for being such a coward!

    2ibyfcg.jpg

Teen vampire: "I'm a vegetarian; I drink plasma fruit in little juice boxes. I'll sit down facing away from you if it makes you feel any better. Please let me out. I'm not even going to ask you to turn off the lamps, I'll get through them eventually, but this way you can just throw open the door and leave, and know I can't touch you. Please."

Zelda: "You've been reading my mind!" She snapped, but it was mostly embarrassment because she was caught being such a coward...why couldn't he have read her mind when she was totally defiantly ready to take on a dozen older witches in spell battle if they dared...and not when she was such a mess that she could barely approach one younger vampire in a cage without fear...this was so humiliating... though she suspected it would not have been a problem if he'd only been in chains or in a dungeon with a solid door and no bars... but she liked his solution... She really wasn't good at this social stuff. She leaned over and turned off one of the lamps...after all, Lavinia only had one on her when Zelda burned her. That was as friendly as she was going to get. That would make it less difficult to 'get through them.'

    2ltoojq.jpg

Teen vampire: "Please forgive me. Its been a very long night. I just want to go home. I'll owe you a favor."

Zelda: She rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I'm not doing this for a favor. I'm doing this because it's evil to keep people in cages...or animals...or chickens...or even vampires." She was annoyed that she felt sympathetic. She wanted to remind him that she hated vampires and wanted nothing to do with him. He was not going to trick her with vampire charm; Lavinia had tried to take advantage of what she was thinking to manipulate her emotionally too! But she opened the cage. It was almost a dare. He didn't move.

Teen vampire: "Thank you. By the way, I'm Tristan Van Gould, and you are?"

Zelda: "Not a friendly witch. But I can teleport you to your yard, then I'm going home." Of course, it couldn't be Jarreds vampire shack or something, no, he had to be from one of the more prominent vampire families in town...a small network, but a powerful one. Which meant that if she threw open the cage and let him wander off on his own trying to get across town...he might get jumped by some other group who saw his state of distress and decided now was the time. She'd rescue him from one cage and he'd be put in another! Grrrr. Such an endless chore! But she had to do it...Granny had given her permission to let him stay in the cage if she wanted but this was one of her weaknesses, and Granny was rubbing it in her face! "If you want to do me a favor, don't tell anyone that I helped you or anything you overheard in my mind." She wasn't a coward. This was a temporary problem. She would just get over it, like a big girl. Any time now.

Teen Vampire: "But you haven't even told me your name."

Zelda: "See, that should make it easier, then. All you have to do is not know who I am, and if someone asks then it was just some witch, you don't know which one." Of course, if he really wanted to, he'd find out; it was a small town, she'd had witch battles in public before, and she was the youngest adult witch in the mix...but if he found out, then he'd know she was dangerous and best left alone.

(Forgive me in advance, very new to the new forums.) Are we discouraged from creating our own play and share thread in the general discussion board? I like having a place to track the various threads of my gameplay, and used to like doing this in the forums (I also used to love peeking in to how other people play). I used to toss them in the relevant EP thread, but it looks like they have all been merged, now. Thanks!

Hi everyone, please forgive me. I've spent the last few days unpacking/tossing stuff as a result of the remodeling that has happened in our house. I messed up my right hip about a week ago and it is still quite sore. And also, I may have to 'finally' take the plunge and upgrade the desktop to Windows 10 as the deadline is tomorrow...

@Silverofdreams30 the pet pictures are great! Looks like Eve really enjoys them.
@Zabeth0 I 'almost' feel sorry for the vampire behind bars. Zelda trying to free him sounds like a dangerous undertaking.
    @TadOlson The Jankowskys are a hard-working bunch.

Here's a brief teaser for what I've been kinda-sorta working on tho...

@Venus: *facepalm!* Yeah, you kinda need the graphics card to work for the sims lol. ;) It's a bit important! :D What a pain!

Yeah, Savannah took AJ's wedding pretty well, but I can understand why it hits her when it's her daughter standing in front of her with a wedding dress. ;) I think with Sage she's put in the position of being like her mom or not. ;) Not so with AJ. :D Yeah, yay for new experiences. :D (Kaydence doesn't have a lot that can give her a run for her money being that she's been raised as a celebrity and she's a genius... having an actual peer who is also extremely bright...who can actually tell this is a real thing, and not just some fantasy novel...that's probably a bit shocking to her...being that the only geniuses she's used to dealing with are in her family and can be trusted, she might be a little worried about a peer who she doesn't know very well knowing these things. ;) ) But even if she can trust Jana's heart...can she trust her social skills? ;) That's a fun turn of events. :D

It's nice to have a contrast between Liz and Jana. :D The girl that read it but was more into the aliens and the girl who read it but knows those substances are likely real if she can just find out the basics, she could actually make them... ;) Well, at least she knows how to keep a secret, the actress that she is. :D Though it would likely be very helpful to the alien issue if she could explain to her peers that the aliens are a real thing, I mean, she's already been trying to get others to know that...but her actual peers might be a bit more helpful. ;) Though Jana might be too focused on trying to make the substances...she might try to make them on her own if she doesn't get any guidance. :D

I knew you were busy with the remodeling. What a time to hurt your hip! Ouch! Hopefully other people can keep you from having to use it much... Thank you for the teaser! :D

@TadOlson: Wow, that's a good sized section added to the greenhouse. :D They must be doing well. :D

So, looks like they got twice the area to live in! :D Thanks! :D Sounds like a fun, creative day of painting and writing. :D The Greenhouse is looking good! :D They should have lots to eat with all that space. :D

@Silver: Thank you. :D Lol- spoiled cat, curled up to the pillow, dreaming of lobster! ;) (I'm now imagining a cat getting into a boat with a fisherman and waiting patiently until he hauls up lobster traps...then purring.)

Thunder will have company! :D Aw, the foal is sure adorable. :D (Foal: "When I grow up, I want to be a giraffe!" Thunder: "Shh, don't kill his dreams.")

@tesarily Welcome to the new forums! Yes, they used to have a story sharing forum here where simmers posted their personal sim stories, but there has been a lot of rearranging and changes made to the whole forum recently. I'm not sure what happened to that section. Of course, you can post your own story thread in General Discussion. That's perfectly acceptable. But this particular thread is a good place for that too. It has several regular simmers who share their stories, but it's not so active that your own stories get lost.

There is another popular thread for sharing stories (What happened in your sims game today), but it's often difficult to keep up with everything, including your own updates. Where you share just depends on how much time you have to participate in the forum though. Both of these threads are fun to follow, with great stories.

What I ended up doing, besides participating in the forum here, was starting my own blog. I'm still in the process re-posting my past forum story updates over to my blog. I'm doing this so that I can have all my stories in one place, and also because I was afraid I'd lose my stories if changes were made to this site's forums, which seems already to be happening.

@Jillbg: Lol- well, at least the designers got his expression right then. :D Plus I made an effort to mess up his hair and make it clear he's not having a good night, so the fact that he still looks like that when his clothes are all torn and spattered with his plasma and his hair is all messed up means they did a good job making him look right. ;) I think I've seen posters and I though they probably got him right looking...or enough from what I remember anyway, but since you recognize him even through all of that, clearly they did. ;) Well, she can't destroy the cage, it's magical... She can open the cage door...it's just not easy for her because deep down she's terrified she's going to end up in that cage. ;) It's not a rational fear. :D

Lol, Missy's got Juan's credit card! Fancy shops here they come! ;) Lol @ "Did you... steal it?" Oh, very nice! :D Spa and Bubbly! :D Lol @ ordinary VIP's. :D Nice of them to share. :D Oh no, they are going horse riding in the heat of the day! ;) Bet that's toasty! Well, at least they are dressed for it, hopefully with lots of sunscreen! :D lol @ Missy braiding the horses tail and mane lol. :D Lol @ "We had to cut them loose!" Well that's a nice detail about how Tara and Missy were raised. :D Lol @ 'Chicken against a lion', poor Juan feeling so overwhelmed, but at least he's trying new experiences for the good of the group! :D Oh, the look on Juan's face when he gets on his horse...backwards! :D Oh, you have me rolling! :D Poor Arthur is jealous (his Tara)... ;) lol @ 'I bet Eli plays crap"- nice save, Arthur! ;) lol @ "I got this" glad she got off in time! :D Poor Missy! Glad to see that Juan can be supportive from time to time. ;) Lol - well, that got her on her horse! It looks like they are having a good time at the spa. :D Hmm, they are growing closer through this trip. :D They look so nice dressed up for the casino. :D Love Missy's dress. :D Well, a mob shoot out would be violent! :D (Somehow I'm trying to imagine how it wouldn't be...perhaps if it weren't using bullets... champagne corks or something, maybe...perhaps air soft guns... but somehow I doubt that's going to be the weapon of choice...lol) ;) Hopefully they are not involved in anything like that! :D

Wow, they weren't kidding about the security! :D Er...looks like Bull Connor is not having a good day! ;) Oh, no, Juan- that's sounds like a dangerous game! Oh, Mr. Snow...does that make it a Snow Job? ;) Lol- Granny won with the last dollie! Hopefully no one tries to strong arm her! Oh no, Missy's going to do something reckless! All of it! Oh dear! And of course, you didn't tell us what it rolled on lol. :D

Miss Kravitz! Did she forget she was fired? ;) Looks like Juan's not going to let his clicker conversation wait! :D It's a good thing that Arthur is a problem solver! :D Well, a box of rocks would not have made such mistakes. ;) (Box of Rocks: ... Computer:... *enjoying not having coffee spilled on it...*) lol @ '-Yesterday!' Wow, just wow. Well, at least Missy got some shopping out of the mix up and they still got free champaign and spa stuff, so really, the mix ups...legendary though they are...helped make the trip fun! ;) And look at that, Arthus is sleeping on the bed! Score! ;)

The other day, I meant to say how completely awesome I thought the motel was and what a great job CravenLestat did on it...and I totally forgot. :D So, this is late but, hey, it's totally awesome! Snazzy! Beautiful! :D Convincing! And that blue pattern is lovely! :D Just so you know. ;)

@lanlyn, thank you for the information! It's a strange new world over here in the new forum, haha. I'm really liking the pace of this thread (you are totally right about the "What Happened in Your Game Today" thread), and will probably join you all soon

@Ianlyn: Those are lovely pictures from the cell phone, and great quality pics for being taken from a cell phone! :D I'm glad the bugs let you enjoy it! ;) (I am now imagining a bunch of Misquitos hanging out in the forest, having a little mosquito picnic under the trees...but with some misquitos hanging out in bird houses and sipping little Plasma Mary's while mingling and having little buzzing conversations. ;) )

Well, she wasn't always this scary...she got this way over time...but she actually outlasted most of her enemies. :D That's not to say she hasn't killed a lot of witches...and sorcerers, and shamans, and warlocks, and all of the various supernaturals such as dragons that have tried to mess with her... but 9/10 of them have killed each other. Sometimes them killing each other had nothing to do with what she told them. ;)

@Wolfkomoki: Yeah, he was a cute kid. :D Lol- maybe they didn't think he would really run off in shorts and socks. ;) (He looks like he's dressed for bed not to run away!)

@Tesarily: Just a heads up, you don't need to reply to everyone- we don't want you to burn out. :D We only ask that you find at least one other simmer or story to comment to/on, anything more than that is gravy. ;) (Don't take me as a guide, I am a loud mouth! Slow...but rambling!) But you're listed as a new member, so it might prevent you from posting pics right away...they did that because of spammers or bots or something like that...but basically it's like a speed bump when you first get here... we just need to get you to post a few more times and get more likes so you'll be past the new member status and can post your own pics. ;) Also, you might remember how the old site censored things...this does too...though it censors things like the word stuupid, basically any sort of insult that people might use to have flame wars gets censored... anything relating to the Naziis...like the abbreviation for Starlight Shores, for example...or Moonlight Falls, I had a hard time figuring out why that would be censored until it occurred to me that might be short for cursing... that sort of thing. On the old site, I was able to use a common Chinese name for one of my sims and it was fine, on the new one, his name was censored... At least it doesn't sensor the word vase anymore, that used to drive me absolutely crazy. ;) Anyway, welcome to the site! :D (You don't have to reply to me, I don't want to be a chore.)

@venusdemilosims Well, it sounds like Kaydence had enough wisdom and observation skills to emulate the good qualities her parents offered while avoiding their less than stellar habits! ...I haven't spent a lot of time in the Uni sub-world so don't always recognize the townies. Liz fits into your story nicely. ...That's a beautiful pic of the wedding arch!

Windows 10 has worked great for me. I had to install other updates for sound and graphics, but everything else went fine during installation. Very easy. I've had no problems with Sims 3 on Win 10. I know experiences vary depending on computers though. Good luck with switching over. I went from Win 7 on two older desktops and a laptop, and from Win 8.1 on my tablet/laptop combo. My new desktop came with Win 10. I like the OS.

@Zabeth0 Loving the story line about Tristan. Maybe he and Zelda will meet again?? How difficult it must be for her. She seems to feel compassion and sympathy, but because of her experiences, she thinks those emotions are signs of weakness. She regards some things as "evil," yet must fight and protect herself, do things she probably wouldn't have done if her life had been different. ...I also like the photos you've included. Atmospheric. ...Well, it sounds like one of Granny's strength is just plain survival! She let the others battle it out while she incited their feuds!

@TadOlson Congrats to Eli and Ami for completing their greenhouse. They live in a pretty area too.

I've been dealing with some RL family drama lately, so haven't been in game since before my vacation time. Things are settling down a bit now. Hopefully, I'll feel like playing soon. I need a distraction!

@teserily -Hi there and welcome to the forums. There's been a lot fo changes here lately and this thread is one place for sharing updates.
@venusdemilosims -I make my sims that way.I would be careful about Windows 10 if you're not sure the computer is able to handle it.Great pictures!
@Zabeth0 -They really wanted to be able to get enough food grown to stock up for winters.
@lanlyn -Thanks for the comment. They wanted to get that done before winter arrived.
I've had to fix my CAS for my TS3 game.
I marked some base game hairs as not valid for random.

I'm playing with my Simself nowadays and she's an Investigator. I traveled to the future and she created a plumbot. ^_^
    His name is Z00my.
    Tu1Evtp.jpg

Z00my is now going around the world and greeted an alien.
    kwXgidt.jpg

Requested a tune-up from the alien.
    iz5y21v.jpg

Aaaaand, the aliens found Z00my interesting, so they came and abducted him a night later.
    ZxoNq3f.jpg
    MI69glJ.jpg

    Z00my didn't quite enjoy it. :/
    KWitQxM.jpg

In the meantime, craving for descendants I woohoo'd with Hane Single and got pregnant.
    eWVVFvN.jpg

I had a baby boy, named Mario.
    jvW1YGy.jpg

I'm back to the present now. I'm aged into an adult and got a makeover.
    And it's Mario's birthday!
    FmtvfpN.jpg

Z00my and Mario are the best of friends. :)

    yAVdmOn.jpg

My plumbot got annoyed with me trying to tune him up and electrocuted me.
Probably angry that I left him do all the parenting of my son, while I was out solving cases.
    bCX7RGo.jpg

I'm such a bad mother, but Z00my makes a much better parent than I would have.
