Found some more older pix from Savannah's ghosthunting days
Ex-ghosthunter Savannah in her days on the job. Notice her longer hair and her glasses. It was a lonely job, Savannah remembers, with long hours of lonely nights searching for specters in strange places.
And oftentimes, particularly in the beginning stages, it wasn't pretty or glamorous. She would often come home covered from head to toe in ectoplasm.
Mustard-yellow jumpsuits covered in ectoplasmic goo isn't my idea of being at the height of fashion, but it'll have to do until I advance further in this career.
Kingston decided to treat Calvin to dinner.
They haven't had much time to get to know each other, and with Travis gone, he needed his brother now more than ever.
After finishing the meal Kingston went home.
When Candy found out that Kingston was making an F in school, she was very angry.
"That is IT young man! You are grounded until you can pull your grades up! This means no outings, and no tv! You are to use the computer for school only. And I better not catch you playing video games until your grades are up!"
[Travis finally visited from his grave, and I decided to add him to the family.
Candy couldn't believe it, her husband had come back to her.
"It's official, I've finally lost it."
"I've missed you so much Travis." Candy sobbed.
"Shhh I know. I'm here now." Travis tried to reassure her.
"It hasn't been the same without you dad." Kingston sobbed.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Travis sobbed.
"You...You've got to go see Calvin. He... he hasn't been the same without you." Kingston begged.
Travis didn't need to be told twice.
"That's it, I've officially lost my mind." Calvin thought when he saw his father standing there.

@Zabeth0 How I wish Zelda would just give in to her need of being close to her Rafael... But at least she didn't forget the death flower. I just hope she won't need to use it when she goes for the other vampires. She not only want revenge for Rafael, she seems to take pleasure in planning to kill Lavinia. But at least she doesn't want collateral damage... Lucky Lavinia didn't fool Zelda, their speed is incredible, and if Zelda had waited she would surely have died! So 1-0 to team Zelda!

Hi! I just returned to my TS3 games. Taking a break due to computer crash, and not so much because of TS4, although I enjoyed that quite much last year. Yesterday I finally found time to check on my ongoing Hope Terra story. I lost a few builds and birthdays due to that crash, but not too bad really. It was fun waking them all up again, I really long to see how this community can form, on tiny rocks in the open ocean.

Desktop is (mostly) fixed still some lingering issues as a result of the fan stuff. I think there's something going on with the graphics card, or at least the connector to the HDMI.

Wedding Dress Blues
Sage walked in a few minutes later, deciding to show her mother her hand-picked wedding gown. It was long and flowing, down to her ankles.
"What do you think?" Sage asked finally.
She waited with baited breath for Savannah to say something - anything.
But the best-selling wordsmith found herself bereft of anything to say - or at least, anything that she felt would please her daughter. Sure, Sage looked incredible in the gown, but what had truly shocked Savannah was how much time had passed that her own daughter was staring her in the face, about to wed her college sweetheart. It wasn't that long ago that she had had that fight at her own wedding with her mother. Was it?

Davis and Lacey Bell were both up early and getting ready for the day on that first morning in 1663.
They tended to the daily chores and got dressed for spring after breakfast.

They started eating lunch and took a break to play online social games.
They got their house rebuild started in the afternoon.
They ended up laving for work at 5PM and got home and into bed at 9PM.
Zelda: She teleported to the spot Lavinia had been summoned from, just to get there as quickly as possible. She didn't want to waste time with doors or stairs or talking to look outs or anything, she just wanted to get this done so she could go home. The revenge part was over, and burning vampire was even less pleasant a smell than alchemy but she would put up with a lot to get revenge. She still had Lavinia's ashes in her hair. She badly wanted a shower, but she'd come straight here instead. Now, this was just an annoying chore that was standing in between her, the shower and a day in bed with Rafael. "Get out. This is Granny's house. You need to find somewhere else to be before sun up, you can't stay here. You're lucky she didn't deal with it herself."
Zelda: Wouldn't Granny have used the same wording if she was talking about dealing with ants or termites or something? Who knows what Granny would do to them! Was Zelda being sent to deal with this because she was really cross with vampires right now, what with Lavinia's attempt to murder her with her new husband? Granny didn't tell her to kill them all, and so she wouldn't...unless they gave her a reason. Though it didn't have to be a particularly good reason. Not today.
Zelda: But as long as they didn't give her a reason, she could hold onto what Deedee said, and pretend that they were just all misunderstood plasma drinking ice monsters who were human like Rafael until recently. She just didn't know them, like she knew Rafael. That's all.
Zelda: And then she saw the vampire in the cage. Only a couple of years younger than her. Ahead of time, she'd thought that if anything needed to be in a cage, it was a vampire...but that was before she had laid eyes on the bars. She couldn't be rational about bars, they were bars.
Zelda: Zelda was suddenly so unbelievably enraged she couldn't speak; if she opened her mouth the next thing that would gush out was the words to pour magical fire on the vampires in front of her. She'd killed the witch that had kept her in a cage, but revenge just meant that particular witch wouldn't do it again, it didn't heal her. She wanted to burn them all. Even the guy in the cage. Anger often didn't make sense. And she was not well known for controlling her anger. Though evidently she could, as she'd been able to keep herself from burning them all automatically...now all she had to do was not speak or do anything...what did people say on tv? Count to ten? One..two..
Vampire: "Yes, ma'am, you don't have to ask us twice!"
Vampire: "Going! Not a problem!"
Teen Vampire: "Hey, wait! Please, let me out!"

Carol Jankowsky is close to his first birthday.
Carey Jankowsky is almost a year old.
I've read through some of the updates here, but haven't had time to comment. Great stories! We'll be heading home tomorrow from our vacation. Juneau has been wonderful, the weather mostly sunny. We were lucky; only a couple of rainy days. We've done a lot of exploring, but there's so much more to see. I thought I'd share just a few of our scenic photos even though it's OT.
Have had quite a stressful week... In between unpacking boxes, and unpacking boxes, and unpacking boxes... I have a speaking engagement... have barely even got a chance to breathe let alone open the game. This morning I did 'something' to my right hip and I'm in pain.
@lanlyn Sounds like you had a wonderful vacation... and looks like it too Lovely photos @TadOlson Carol and Carey are cute babies. Can't wait to see them grow up. @Zabeth0 Wouldn't want to cross Zelda looking like that. Lol
The university campus was nearly deserted, as it usually was when most students were in class. It was, also, after all, the quieter spring semester, as most students tend to front-load their courseload during the fall semester, so they could spend their springs partying and having fun. Still, there were a few stragglers around.
Jana Soderlund was one of the rare students who waited until the spring semester to begin her collegiate adventure. A native of Aurora Skies, she enrolled in Sims University on a science and technology scholarship. She had taken what's commonly known as a 'gap year' - a break in between high school and college - to intern for noted scientist Bjorn Beaker, who had submitted her application for the prestigious Sims University's Institute of Technology (SUIT).
When Bjorn Beaker recommends you, you have to know your stuff.
Just then, Kaydence heard a faint voice call her name as a door slammed shut behind her.
Jana walked up closer. "Kaydence! Wait up!"
Kaydence was forced to listen to the only other girl in her technology class. Jana Soderlund, who was about to turn eighteen, had finally forced the nearly seventeen-year-old Kaydence - actress, writer, scientist - to see her. Not as any of those things, but as a fellow student.
"Kaydence, look," Jana began breathlessly as she nervously twirled the end of her braid around her finger, speaking with a slight lisp, "it took everything in me to talk to you today."
Kaydence's bemusement was palpable as she listened to Jana. The contrast between the appearances of the Starlight Shores-born daughter of an actor and a pop star and the former scientist's intern from Aurora Skies was marked.
"Kaydence, listen - I read your book."
Kaydence chuckled to herself. Just like nearly everyone else on the planet, it seems, she thought to herself.
"No, really," Jana said, continuing to wrap the end of her braid around her finger, "I actually read the book. Is Simtopia a real place that can be visited with the portals? What about those nanites? Can you make them with regular computer compressors? I really want to know, what chemical elements comprise that happiness dew? Are they on earth?"

Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up early that fall morning.
They both started getting ready for the day before it got light out.
They both started playing online social games after tending to the chores.
They were both studying charisma skill for most of the morning on their iPads.
They spent the afternoon getting ready for work until they left at 3PM.
They got off work at 7PM and got another wall up as they arrived at home.
They got into bed and went to sleep at 8PM.
@venusdemilosims I'm sorry you're in pain. It must be really hectic at your place right now, so I guess just taking a break and rest is out of the question!
I hope Kaydence can befriend Jana, and doesn't think she's annoying...
The weddingdress... Must be really emotional for a mom to see her daughter in a wedding dress...
@Zabeth0 Zelda is really cool about heading straight into a den filled with vampires! She must really be sure nothing will happen to her... I like Deedee, but I think she can get in trouble with those "misunderstood plasma drinking ice monsters"!
The vampire in the cage looks a little like Edward Cullen! He's got the same suffering expression... Seeing the cage must have triggered awful memories indeed... Love how the vampires hurriedly troop out of the room, but they aren't very solidary with the poor guy in the cage! Will Zelda spare him? And will he be eternally grateful to her?
@Silver: Yeah. Don't want them getting jealous! I wonder what the horse and cat are talking about. (Socks: "Those snazzy leg warmers Thunder is wearing. Very stylish. Where can get? Can I has?" lol!) Thunder has great contrast. Yeah, cats all running around at night, I have two cats who are sisters and they totally do that.
@Venus: Sounds wise. *Don't want the desktop to burn up over the fan. I'm glad you have use of the laptop. No problem- I realize Zelda seems quite callous if you don't know what Lavinia did or that she's clearly trying to trick Zelda to kill her. Though Zelda is no angel, context definitely helps on this one. Yeah, poor Sage, her mother is speechless and can't tell her she looks lovely because she's just so shocked to be here at this point in her life. And the look on her face doesn't look pleased lol!

@Jillbg: lol, yeah. Well, she highly values revenge, but she's wanting to be able to tell Rafael he's safe when she gets back. Which means that revenge isn't just about her anymore (they were both wronged, it's shared revenge that she wants to be able to comfort him with- because she doesn't think he could have gotten revenge on his own- she's getting it for both of them.) Yeah, if she'd gone to the cursed house with Lavinia having all her vampires around her, Zelda would have to kill them, she'd have the same problem she had with Rafael- except she has no love for them, so she'd just burn them and tell Deedee she had no choice...except that she was quite amused to come up with one of the most elaborate plans she's ever had... in pursuit of more reasonable revenge. (Remember, Zelda's not a planner, so her usual order of business is to do whatever seems like a good idea at the time...this is elaborate for her!) Thank you! (I had to try really hard, I'm terrible with gauzy stuff and it took me forever to make a version of the dress that I thought looked about right...since previous to this everyone's only seen her in the acrobat clothes, but I wanted her to be dressed more traditional vampire while she was being queen of her castle, so to speak.)
He's Tristan Van Gould, the sim who is based on that guy. Of course, I haven't actually seen Twilight, but my game decided to make Bailey Swain important right away by assigning a clumsy girl to work at the diner/grocery store (which was too funny for me to not play with)...meaning that Rafael was going to be running into her constantly...so I looked up her bio...and decided that it would be fun to use her and her family (and her boyfriend) in the story, even though I don't actually know anything about Twilight. What I got from bios and the game stuff, I decided to play with them, hopefully it's not too annoying to people who have seen Twilight... ("Edward would never say that!" Me: "Well, I'm not sure what he'd say, being that I'm not familiar with him, but Tristan here...") But I've also never seen Charmed, and used the Crumplebottom sisters (probably quite terribly), so, if I'm annoying, I'm just going to keep being annoying. (But I hope it's not annoying!)
Well, vampires in my version can read minds much more readily than the game lets them...so they are quite well aware of how close to being toast they are... Of course, this means that everyone who could get the 17 year old out of the cage besides her just left... Which means, that in order for Zelda to rescue him...she must face...the BARS! Zelda could fight all the vampires in the cursed house with less stress than seeing those bars is causing her lol. (She's having a very very very supremely bad day so far...and considering this is her honeymoon...well, I'm going to have to get them some better days soon...just for everyone's sanity...on the plus side, Zelda's growing as a person...)
@TadOlson: Ah, coming along! That's some lovely spring mist in the background when the mail carrier arrives. Cute babies with arms and legs! Looks like their house is getting better.
@Ianlyn: Wow, that's lovely! I hope it was as fun to see when you were there as the photos are. (Or more, it's better to hope for more, and that way the photos just remind you of the awesomeness.) But sometimes things photograph well, and leave out sogginess and bugs, so I'm not sure... I hope you have a great trip and some good rest when you get home!
@wolfkomoki: Good that the brothers are bonding. Oh, punishment, right in the fun bar! Wow, he turned the color of her hair. So ghosts change color based on mood? Lol, so Calvin reacted much like his mother did.
@jillbg For all of Kaydence's accomplishments, we know her one big weakness is with social skills. I think that's a big thing with all the Jolina-Plumbs though. They have a thing where they have pretty much all had 'issues' with socializing.
I do think Kaydence does think Jana is annoying, but also she's not trying to be mean about it. They have about a one year age difference, with Jana being older.
One thing about college in real life, you meet people with backgrounds that are far different from yours. And one thing that happens in college, too, is you find people with similar interests, as what seems to have happened with Jana. High school can be a minefield with all the cliques and stuff. College is a different level of minefield, but everyone pretty much does their own thing.
As for Savannah, yeah, she's got a catch in her throat when she sees Sage in her wedding dress.
@Zabeth0 Yeah, the new fan is installed in the desktop and running, but there are issues now with the graphics card If it isn't one thing it's another. Still, it's running somewhat properly now. I only have the laptop for travel purposes as a secondary computer. I will 'try' to buy a new desktop sometime next year, the laptop has reminded me how woefully inadequate the desktop is
Anyway, on to jollier matters. Savannah is clearly speechless, not so much at how beautiful Sage looks in the gown, but she cannot believe that she has arrived at this point in her life. It wasn't so bad when it was her son getting married - after all, he's a boy child and his fiancee's family was responsible for planning the wedding - but Sage is her firstborn daughter. It's all pretty much hit her like a ton of bricks that her kids are all growed up.
I think this is the first of Kaydence's readers (of course, outside of her inner circle) who actually knows that what she wrote about isn't 'quite' fiction. And you can tell it's unnerved her more than a little bit. As you know, Kaydence being rattled is not a 'normal' thing. Lol
Kaydence met with Jana and another girl, Liz Tarry, at Barnstormer's Pizza, the campus hangout.
Liz was distinctive on campus because of her brightly colored purple hair. Unlike Kaydence and Jana, Liz lived in DeAnda, one of the residence halls on campus. And she had already taken many of the technology courses the younger girls were now taking.
Liz told Kaydence that she was working on the art for her video game project that she had to turn in for her senior thesis.
"Video game?" Kaydence asked, intrigued as she sipped her water.
"Yeah," Liz told her, "the seniors in the technology department have to choose a senior project. I chose to make a video game. Combines both of my interests."
Finally the food arrived and the girls, led by Kaydence, started to eat.
"You never told me just what chemicals are in that happiness dew," Jana wondered, starting to make conversation. "That stuff is real, isn't it?"
Kaydence shrugged. "What are you talking about?"
"Astra Blythe's happiness dew," Jana replied. "It's a real chemical compound that can be made."
"I read that book," Liz chuckled, "I didn't really pay that much attention to the dew. I was more excited about Astra's encounter with the alien crone Lillibao."
"What about the flowers and the crystals and the nanites? Can those be found on earth, too? Or made with earthen materials?"
Through all of Jana's questions, Kaydence was characteristically tight-lipped. She couldn't give all her secrets out.

She had taken what's commonly known as a 'gap year' - a break in between high school and college - to intern for noted scientist Bjorn Beaker, who had submitted her application for the prestigious Sims University's Institute of Technology (SUIT).
When Bjorn Beaker recommends you, you have to know your stuff.
Just then, Kaydence heard a faint voice call her name as a door slammed shut behind her.
Jana walked up closer. "Kaydence! Wait up!"
Kaydence was forced to listen to the only other girl in her technology class. Jana Soderlund, who was about to turn eighteen, had finally forced the nearly seventeen-year-old Kaydence - actress, writer, scientist - to see her. Not as any of those things, but as a fellow student.
"Kaydence, look," Jana began breathlessly as she nervously twirled the end of her braid around her finger, speaking with a slight lisp, "it took everything in me to talk to you today."
Kaydence's bemusement was palpable as she listened to Jana. The contrast between the appearances of the Starlight Shores-born daughter of an actor and a pop star and the former scientist's intern from Aurora Skies was marked.
"Kaydence, listen - I read your book."
Kaydence chuckled to herself. Just like nearly everyone else on the planet, it seems, she thought to herself.
"No, really," Jana said, continuing to wrap the end of her braid around her finger, "I actually read the book. Is Simtopia a real place that can be visited with the portals? What about those nanites? Can you make them with regular computer compressors? I really want to know, what chemical elements comprise that happiness dew? Are they on earth?"

Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up early that fall morning.
They both started getting ready for the day before it got light out.
They both started playing online social games after tending to the chores.
They were both studying charisma skill for most of the morning on their iPads.
They spent the afternoon getting ready for work until they left at 3PM.
They got off work at 7PM and got another wall up as they arrived at home.
They got into bed and went to sleep at 8PM.

I do think Kaydence does think Jana is annoying, but also she's not trying to be mean about it. They have about a one year age difference, with Jana being older.
One thing about college in real life, you meet people with backgrounds that are far different from yours. And one thing that happens in college, too, is you find people with similar interests, as what seems to have happened with Jana. High school can be a minefield with all the cliques and stuff. College is a different level of minefield, but everyone pretty much does their own thing.
As for Savannah, yeah, she's got a catch in her throat when she sees Sage in her wedding dress.

Anyway, on to jollier matters. Savannah is clearly speechless, not so much at how beautiful Sage looks in the gown, but she cannot believe that she has arrived at this point in her life. It wasn't so bad when it was her son getting married - after all, he's a boy child and his fiancee's family was responsible for planning the wedding - but Sage is her firstborn daughter. It's all pretty much hit her like a ton of bricks that her kids are all growed up.
I think this is the first of Kaydence's readers (of course, outside of her inner circle) who actually knows that what she wrote about isn't 'quite' fiction. And you can tell it's unnerved her more than a little bit. As you know, Kaydence being rattled is not a 'normal' thing. Lol
Kaydence met with Jana and another girl, Liz Tarry, at Barnstormer's Pizza, the campus hangout.
Liz was distinctive on campus because of her brightly colored purple hair. Unlike Kaydence and Jana, Liz lived in DeAnda, one of the residence halls on campus. And she had already taken many of the technology courses the younger girls were now taking.
Liz told Kaydence that she was working on the art for her video game project that she had to turn in for her senior thesis.
"Video game?" Kaydence asked, intrigued as she sipped her water.
"Yeah," Liz told her, "the seniors in the technology department have to choose a senior project. I chose to make a video game. Combines both of my interests."
Finally the food arrived and the girls, led by Kaydence, started to eat.
"You never told me just what chemicals are in that happiness dew," Jana wondered, starting to make conversation. "That stuff is real, isn't it?"
Kaydence shrugged. "What are you talking about?"
"Astra Blythe's happiness dew," Jana replied. "It's a real chemical compound that can be made."
"I read that book," Liz chuckled, "I didn't really pay that much attention to the dew. I was more excited about Astra's encounter with the alien crone Lillibao."
"What about the flowers and the crystals and the nanites? Can those be found on earth, too? Or made with earthen materials?"
Through all of Jana's questions, Kaydence was characteristically tight-lipped. She couldn't give all her secrets out.

its been so hot outside 30 celcius and tha tis hot for my city haha. I think zelda and granny are itneresting characters well developed.
