What a good Idea @emere to use mannequin specially in tight small rooms like the bathrooms It's hard to adjust the height of objects on the wall It's either they're too high up or too low great tip.
So Ive found lately since the lighting patch some weird things going on with curtains
These are exactly the same curtains placed on different windows but in the same position and the colors change due to the lighting
The only way I can fix the one on the left is to move it up into that spot using the 9 key and it doesnt seem to get the weird lighting effect.
Anyone else noticed this or seen any posts about it?
@Cbear13 that was happening to me too. In my island build, I actually gave up on curtains all together because it was annoying me so much lol. I was getting the issue when I attached the curtains to the window rather than the wall. Your raising the height by one idea is a good one though!

Hello @Xenami There has been many simmers posting about the curtains issue. By placing the curtains on the wall first, then placing the windows, the issue is fixed.

So Ive really tried to bring a fairy tale feel to this build especially with the interior. The room shapes and sizes were definitely challenging but that was the whole idea of this challenge to work with different shapes.
Even for me this was challenging with the combining of objects to make something new.
Please excuse some of the pics because of the size of the rooms and shapes its been quite difficult to get pictures.
So here is my walk through of the interior:
Here is the entrance hall, the door heads off to the living room, kitchen and bathroom, upstairs is bedrooms and study.
Through the door and you are greeted with this pretty theme wall where I have combined several items for the frame.
On the other side of the room is a small living area, I was experimenting with combining items above the fire place to create a new decoration, you will have to excuse the stretched picture it was tough in this space to get a good one. The door to the right is to the bathroom.
Next is the small dining area and kitchen
Now we head upstairs to the two bedrooms, I really tried to push the fairytale theme in these two and combined objects on the walls to create feature walls and decoration.
I combined several items on the wall behind the bed, with a mirror as its backing. Also on the window frame I added some snowflakes and flowers to dress it up a bit more
The boys room I love, it kind of feels like an enchanted forest feel, again I added some items to the window frame to decorate it and combined the new luminated trees to make them look taller
Lastly on the top floor is the study with computer area and reading area, there is plenty more activities on the outside balconies like easel, meditation, chess and so on.
Hope you enjoyed my little fairytale, I have seen people combine objects in some amazing ways and a lot better than what I achieve so be creative and lets see your amazing interiors.
There are so many very creative ways that you have combined objects together ! @Cbear13 I am enjoying looking at the pictures of each room! The combining of objects, and the way you have placed the items on the walls, tables and shelving looks so great! Very nice colour schemes of the rooms! The placement of the diferent types of decor prints and the pictures on the walls looks so very nice! The curtained theme wall in the living room area is a very nice feature! There are many creative ideas from the rooms that we all can use in our builds!

My build has a fairy tale feeling to it so i went with a more whimsical/traditional look to my interiors. There's 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, pantry, dining room, living room, study, and playroom. I havent showed all the rooms because some of them don't have the practice challenge requirements because some of the rooms are so small it would have over whelmed the space to do to much decorations hahaha
Each of the rooms look so very nice! @lisa17ann The furnishing of them have so many creatively placed items! They look so very nice ! There are so many design ideas in each room! Very nice design of the fireplace wall in the living room! The big and little teddies look cute together placed together in the corner nook. The items look very nice how they are placed on the kitchen shelves. The floral lattice looks very pretty on the masterbedroom bedhead wall. The vanity table looks nice with the rose on it. The mirrors on the wall in the bathroom tub nook looks so nice how they are placed there! The butterflies look so very pretty on the wall in the playroom! Very nice sitting nook in the playroom! The teaset is a nice touch on the stool. I won't write about all the very nice details in each room, but am enjoying looking at the pictures
@Cbear13 I have the same problem with the curtains in certain lots I hope this will be fixed. It is not easy to put the curtaons first Lovely interiors @Cbear13@lisa17ann Mine have to wait I'm trying to complete the QC month challenge for the first time. Lol I thought the spa was a relaxing thing. I'm really lost at my island I really do not know how to be a faster builder. Also I have less freetime now, but the weekend is almost here

On my exterior build I went with the glow fluorescent wall panel and the weird shape so I went with futuristic way of living I think It kind of suits my build anyway I've change some of the indoor plants like combing with other plants to make them nice looking and some ceiling lights and the list goes on but you will notice the difference in the pics.
The furnishing of each of the interior rooms and areas looks very nice! @chips46 The colour scheme and lighting looks great! The walls and floor patterning in the games room gives a great look to the room! Very nice futuristic theme of the rooms! They way you have placed the items in the rooms and put things on display, and on counters, tables and shelving looks great! There are many creative ideas of furnishing in the rooms! Very nice front entrance area! The combination of the 5 wall decor pieces placed together with the other wall decor items on the front exterior looks great! The bamboo plants and log themed wall decor item looks nice. The plants look nice on the roofing over the front entrance.
The home is very nice!
Hello @Pebblycat I will look forward to seeing the interior of your home. I hope that your work on the build goes smoothly next time you are working on the home.
Thanks @lisa17ann I like how you decorated all your rooms and what you did to the mat that looks like a flower on the floor very pretty and the kids room pack with those butterflies aren't they pretty.
Thanks @Pebblycat I don't know what I got myself in for when I made that weird shape or what theme to go for then I remembered way back the alien apartment that I did not enter so I went with that idea and some of it went in there so it wasn't all that bad to do. and I hope you manage to get your kitchen done you will be fine you do lovely kitchen in your builds.
The interiors look amazing, @chips46 love the futuristic style. Though since they changed the lighting a bit ive noticed sometimes if you merge to many lights together it makes some things overly bright did you have that issue?
No @Cbear13 the lights are pretty good they aren't that bright i put the light settings to aqua and It's good on your eyes and I don't like the brightness of the lights either it's too much on your eyes and I find outside is much brighter since the lighting than inside it doesn't affect how many lights you put together its all good.
@emere that was what I was aiming for gravity 0 room as my sim was testing it I saw those boxes that the sim was trying to catch it gave me an idea to make the boxes to float in the air like 0 gravity see let the sims show you what they want in their rooms or build and I can't wait to see you do magic with moo
Come back after an unexpected hiatus and everything changes lol!! Gorgeous lots, everyone is doing such a great job. Havent had a chance to check out the new stuff pack but some of the stuff looks awesome from these pics.
