Hello all sorry ive not been around . but Ive had some RL to deal with . My dad past away last wednesday so ive been with mum sorting out paper work and so on.
Now because of this Im still keeping the competition open as ive loads more RL to deal with.so Judging comp will have to wait.

@calmorezoo I am SO sorry to hear of your loss. Settling an estate is a stressful and time consuming process that makes an already awful and terrible thing in life that much harder to deal with. I really appreciate you reaching out to me via a personal message to let me know that you've extended to deadline for this competition. That shows you're a person with a wonderful character who's considerate and takes what other people would consider a silly video game seriously, along with the players and the community of this game. I hope that this competition will provide you with a little bit of respite from coping with your loss. I do have a question though and that is what is a CAP and why are they not allowed? I hope my background in hospitality doesn't skew the favor of this competition unfairly in my direction. Also, this question may have been asked but I may have missed it, can we change the wall coverings on the exterior of the building or is the shell simply not allowed to be altered in any way other than the roof pattern? Once I'm done with my massage tomorrow I'll be nice and relaxed to sit with the shell and make what I hope is a beautiful resort!

CAP stands for "Create A Pattern". Unofficial patterns sometimes cause crashing, so the request is to keep the files as error free as possible.

Okay it seems the flood (and it was a massive flood) of Bonus SimPoints has slowed and I can finally get myself into the game to start building for this contest. Wish me luck, in all the years The Sims 3 has been out I've never entered a building contest at all!
Okay so cut a long story short I just realized I can't upload anything to my studio because I'm not product registered and I'm unable to because all my games are registered on a different account that I lost the password to and I've a hell of a time trying to get in to it. Is there another way I could upload a build to so you can still receive it okay? Thanks

Okay, so even though I earn thousands of SimPoints a day through the bonus program I finally said "You know what? These ads will still be there when you come back to the store. Get to building this resort already!" This is my very first building contest so I'm quite excited. I've been playing The Sims 3 since it was released and you'd think I get super involved with the community. I guess because I was working two jobs and going to college full time left me with little time to chat with other players; my life was extremely busy back then but I'm so glad I'm meeting such wonderful players now. Seriously, The Sims 3 community is bar none the best gamer community there is.
So, anyway, my hotel is going to be called Little Caesar's Palace (an amalgam of Little Caesar's Pizza, which is surprisingly good and I live in New Jersey where pizza is serious business, and Caesar's Palace which is my favorite casino to visit when I go to Atlantic City) and it's been taking me DAYS of work to get about halfway done. I think it's going to be great and I'm glad the deadline has been pushed back so I can post my entry; I can't WAIT to show you guys the heavenly hotel I'm constructing. There's just so much detail I'm adding to give the place some real personality but it's placing boxes of tissues and soap dispensers in each bathroom and making sure they're placed just so to make the lot look a bit realistic. I have a pretty decent computer but all the stuff I'm adding is making my game run noticeably slower so I hope it doesn't melt folks' PCs when it's out in the wild!!! Anyway, I'm back to work on the outdoor wedding area and the honeymoon suite! Ooohhh I'm just SO looking forward to hearing what you all think of it when I finally post my entry form. Also, does anyone know how to change the exchange photos to the nice ones I take for this contest? This resort deserves much more than the stock junky photos the game automatically uploads...

The Story = Tony Parker was born and raised in the sleepy town of Riverview, he’s seen many people in his time but more people go than come. As “Leader of the Free World” he decided that he had to do something to encourage people to visit this lonely town so he built a hotel to encourage both the younger and older generations. He built the hotel to cater for all and includes:
Main lobby / waiting room / small library
Dining room with tables and chairs inside and out
Gym (with added toilet)
Pool bar & spa
Games room (with added toilet)
Public shower block
8 VIP bedrooms (2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms, 2 family rooms, 2 honeymoon suites)
Outside garden (with wedding area)
Sporners Yes/No = No
