It was easy enough to remove. I was really doing this to alert Cassie, because her download says CC Free, and I thought she would want to know that it was in there. I'm sure it was just an honest mistake on her part. No harm, no foul.
I spent the last few hours getting my little alien hybrid ready. I hope she ends up being ok. I have to work in a few hours (need to go to bed!) and won't have much time to fix anything if something is incorrect. No cc, though.
Meet Aurora Tennant
Her father was abducted by her mother, Vytra. He fell in love with her, but she died shortly after childbirth. She is now a teen and has adjusted well despite the strange looks she receives at times. She's attending the local high school and doing very well. Her favorite things to do are to collect specimens and analyze them. She is very passionate about space and science. After college, she would like to find a job in that career path.
Today is her birthday! Her father has given her a present. Let's peek in to see what it is!
"Thanks, Dad!" Aurora opens up her birthday gift and asks, "Hmmm...what is it?"
"It's something your mother gave me right before she died. She said when you were old enough, I was to give it to you. It's a mystery to me as she never explained, but I feel you are old enough now. Hopefully, you'll be able to figure out what it is."
Aurora was very excited to have something from her mother. She started working on it right away.
After some research, she eventually finds that it leads to a crashed spaceship out in the wasteland. No one seems to know where it came from or what is inside. She finds her birthday gift is a type of key. As she pushes in the key and the door opens, she finds she is very excited to see what's inside. She just knew it was somehow part of her past.
As she explores, she discovers a book. She sits down to read it and finds it is the words of her dear mother, Vytra. Vytra's diary explains so much! She cries in relief as a HUGE mystery and weight is lifted off of her. She closes the book and continues her exploration.
She's almost finished exploring when she discovers a new type of device. She has one more room and discovers a television in it. She finds a slot that the device fits into perfectly.
She sits down to watch pictures scroll across the screen. Pictures of her mother and maybe her family. She's fascinated by all the pictures! She looks at her mother's diary again and finds that some of the pictures matches different parts of the diary. She even sees a picture of her mom with the exact same spaceship she was sitting in. The diary explains that it was her mom's ship!
The diary also explains that her mom was travelling when her spaceship crashed in Oasis Landing. She decided to explore the town and had the spaceship repairing itself. She discovered Aurora's father and decided he was a perfect match for child reproducing. She abducted him, but fell in love with him, too. The spaceship never did fix itself and she never bothered to find out why as she chose to stay in Oasis Landing.
What a great gift her mother had left her! She had a new secret place and an awesome story of her heritage. She would treasure it always as she continued to strive to be the best alien hybrid she can be.
