*runs in panting* Darn it, I'm late! Starting in the slideshow now! Funny, I have placed my lot in the same place you did... seemed the logical place to put a lot in SV!

If you are using the lot provided, you should be somewhere in the following steps:

Which setting is lower? Inside of brush wide or narrow? Do I move slider to the left or the right? :?:

TIP: I move slider all the way to the right for the softest setting. I use this setting when softening edges to blend the hills and edges. The other side of the slider seems to extreme.

Absolutely, you may want to proceed to the next step of making the path.

If you scroll through the slideshow a bit more, you will see in the back left corner of the finished lot.

    Nice work, Jenny.

TIP: I alternate between both ends of the slider when using terrain paint for grasses, weeds, flowers, etc. Sometimes I want a stronger and darker paint, so I used the slider to the left, but mostly I use the middle for the "painting." If I am layering different paints, I experiment by using the softest setting which is slider all the way to the right.

    Beautifully done :)

I did not include in the slideshow steps, but you can use the picture below to add your willow tree if you wish:

I love landscaping, probably one of my favorite parts about building. Though, as others have seen in a previous lot I was building, I tend to go overboard on plants, lol I am trying to restrain myself from adding more!

This is what I have so far:

    This looks lovely.

TIP: I tend to use less landscaping on modern builds. The following slideshow is a sample of various styles.

It's lengthy, so scroll through only when you have time..LOL.

The garden didn't come out nearly as nice as yours though...I had a bit of trouble with that part
