Seasons: Flower Arrangement stuck at level one

Issue

My sim is stuck at level one in the flower arrangement skill. See Picture.

Steps you took for Issue to occur

Sim made two floral arrangements without issue. Joined gardening career but did not start working yet. Started skilling floral arrangement and noticed the sim was no longer performing and animations. The skill bar was stuck and not moving on to level two. Let the game run. Skill bar finally jumped to level two around 150 %. Then the game stopped responding and went to a transparent screen (second picture). Let game run for several minutes had to shut down with task manager.

I did zip these to a file but didn't have an option to upload the zipped file....at least I couldn't figure it out. It's been a long time since I've uploaded anything to mediafire.

Where does the bug occur ?

This was a save started just before the patch for seasons. New sim/no skills. I built a home and skilled my sim up in some gardening and planted some plants. I think she was at level 6 gardening before the patch.

Mods/CC

Never have used third party mods.

Expansion Packs/Game Packs/Stuff Packs

I own everything and it is all installed.

Is this issue only affecting the one sim? Can other sims in your game progress further in the skill?

Thank you for the link! I searched for something on Answers.com but couldn't find anything. I cleared cashes and restarted. She did jump to level 2 this time after about 110% at level one and the game didn't freeze. She is the only sim (besides her cat) I will post on the link you provided. Thank you @rosemow
