How do you change the description of an item?

Greetings, Simmers.

I wonder if it's possible to change descriptions of items in The Sims 4? I'm planning to change some descriptions which sound a bit harsh and tone them down a little. I tried changing them with the String Table Lookup before, but the changes aren't saved.
How can I save my own descriptions for these said items?

I did try an alternate method of changing the description via Selection Clone, via Sims 4 Studio. However, even changing the descriptions that way causes the same problem.
