Cheat Codes not working «12...Next Go

I am not for sure if its just the patch or I'm doing something wrong but none of the cheat codes are working since the patch. Is this happening to anyone else or am I doing something wrong? I used it last night when I created a new family, but now I haven't been able to all day.

Thanks for letting us know, and thanks to @Yamariya for creating this post! The cheats are broken for me too. I tried verifying the game files, but that didn't fix the issue.

Came on here to post about this issue. Glad I'm not the only one... Hope they get it fixed soon..

yeah it seems mostly that the cheats related to the "testing cheats" are the ones kind of busted but I have still been able to do a lot of the cheats. I have done move objects, freerealestate, cas.fulleditmode, and etc with no issues so far. the one that I had been using recently has been the emotional buffs cheats. couldn't get a single one of them to work and I had been able to use them just fine the night before. Kind of a bummer because I was in the middle of trying to create a lot of ghost families and I wanted some to have died from emotional deaths because for some reason it is ridiculously difficult to do that without cheating. I actually kind of wish they would make emotional deaths a little more accessible without needing to cheat...

Cheats that I find out not working after the patch are
- testingcheats true
- cas.fulleditmode
- resetsim

And because of the first one many other too. I play vanilla with all packs installed. Already repaired my game, but that didn’t help.

That one works fine for me.

cas.fulledit should also work once you get testing cheats to work

resetsim is a bit more complicated. Seems to work for some people but not all of them. It works for me so unsure what's going on

I'm quite relieved to find out it isn't just me. I thought I was typing them wrong.

From what I can tell, the child and toddler skill cheats aren't working. The modify relationship one seems to be working. I haven't really tried any others.

I have tried in game. Motherlode and Rosebud seem to be working fine.

Note: for me none of the Vampire cheats (pushing up ranks, points, removal of bad traits etc) seem to be working.

I'm glad it's not just me. Money cheats seem to be working for me, but reset sim and character value, trait, and skills cheats aren't working at all, I've tried everything. Hopefully it gets fixed soon

Stats.fill_commodities_household isn't working either. Any possibility that Seasons could fix it?

I think we'll need a new patch for these cheat codes to return. The only thing we've heard for sure, I think, will be fixed with the actual Seasons EP is fireplaces.

So I use the garden cheated before the update to get my Sims to a level 10 of of the garden skill now that the new seeds came out I can't use them even though I'm at a garden skill level of 10...

There are other simmers who also have the issue that their sims who have level 10 gardening are unable to purchase rare seeds from the build mode. A simmer posted that they could buy them from the planter instead though.

I just submitted this one to the EA thread.....it appears that the Character Values cheats aren't working (however the Character Values trait cheat is working). I was trying to get some households set up to start a new game with the Seasons release and tried to set some stuff as far as character values for the kids and nada. Glad I saw this thread because it was driving me crazy trying everything to get those cheats to work, lol.
