    I was going through an architecture book and I just found this out:

    This is a real life plumbob :lol: This is the leveling tool that represents life in the sims haha!

      That's really cool. I wonder if there is a symbolic reasoning for the Plumbob to be based off of this.

      It was originally a home design tool in development. Then Will Wright saw it would be more interesting to make it about consumerist america. I guess the plumbob stayed since then!
