Family Portrait Lock and Unlock

So I tested the family portrait with a random family to see if it's possible to make a generation portrait 
as you can see above, the second portrait is when the baby was born and the first portrait was locked. but when I unlock it it changed to this
so therefore if you want generational portrait then the older portrait must remain locked and shouldn't be unlock and you cant change its poses and clothing.
and I wonder what if you share the family portrait through the gallery and some player download it so would the portrait be change to the current household of the player(the one who downloaded the portrait)?
