Weird Clock Problem (not sim-related)

RoggieBearRoggieBear Posts: 243 Member
I often see the time 11:11 or 12:34 on clocks. Anyone else? Anyone know why?

No, but they're not as fun as 10;55 and 12:06

I always seem to get 4:20.
Which is odd, because I've never done the drug, personally.
i also managed to conveniently post this on 4/20, without having even noticed the date :(

I always see 3:20. I can be sleeping like a baby, roll over, glance at the clock...3:20. It's weird.

I get 11:24. It's my birthday. I also saw 9:11 for a long time after that event.

There's articles written about this. I think our minds just notice certain number sequences. It's not to say that you don't equally look at the clock at 2:17, it's just your mind pays more attention to numbers that mean something to you individually.

Not saying that's the case, just saying I've read something to that effect.

About 80% of the time I look at a clock it's something like 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 12:12 and so on. It's quite strange.
