YES. Mia and I have been talking and she brought up something that I never took into consideration. It wasn't bad - what she suggested. But, after talking, I *did* see her point. So... I did some hunting - as you saw - and came up with what I hope will be a little "easier" for whoever might get me. It's all good!
Thanks for all the welcome messages! I'm very excited to see what comes of this new thing for me! Also for whomever I get as my buddy... I don't have many expansions, and no stuff packs... Edited to add: Speaking of Spring, Winter just won't give up here! First day of Spring and I'm home for the afternoon for a snow day. It's not really *that* snowy here but my boss said "go home," and who am I to argue.
Edited again: OK, OK, so I guess yesterday was really the first day of Spring. My boss is retiring, and with what we're doing to wrap things up, dates have become somewhat irrelevant. That's my excuse . . .
I'm happy to see new and returning faces around too.
@suzses An afternoon off is an afternoon off, it's good it's not a heavy snow so it's pretty to look at but doesn't make travel problematic. I suppose winter is stubborn this year, I could barely tell it was winter most of it honestly. It's been rather mild this year.
@MsPrissy88 If you want a casino it's a reasonable request, they can be so much fun to build granted your buddy has the casino items. You could always leave the option for either.
@Jessabeans It really is a pretty snow, and I shouldn't complain. I am not in the Nor'easter territory that has been hit so hard this year. We are just a little to the west of where the large snowfalls have ranged and usually only getting a few inches, which doesn't get in one's way much. We had some very cold weather right after Christmas, which started me out remembering just how much I don't like Winter. Then, it improved, and in February, we had some wonderful 60-70 degree days. I think the warm days spoiled me, and I haven't had any patience since with waiting out the rest of the season.
Y'all know me. I can never sit still when it comes to waiting for something. lmao
But, ya know what I've been noticing with all these gift exchanges?? We don't get HALF the people like we used to. And that's a same - really. There were some really talented people out there. Sadly... I have a feeling *those* people moved on to 4.

I own the following EA-made Worlds: (Please note that others might not feel comfortable using a custom world so it would be beneficial to provide your Buddy with a list of only those made by EA)
Again, I believe I own them all a few are not gold because I got the “extras” separate. If for some reason I am missing one or need to install one worry not I can do that.
Some of my favorite colors are: Purples and Blues - I also enjoy classic wood looks like Oak and Cherry.
I really don’t like this color: I do not really dislike any color; I am not a huge fan of yellow and orange but I don’t hate it.
I love to use items from this set: All of the fantasy ones like the Castle set, the Storybook Set, I also enjoy some of the different more unique sets like Bohemian Garden and The Monarch Suite.
I prefer to play in this EA-made World: Dragon Valley and Hidden Springs are my two favorites though I enjoy running stories and Sims in all of them.
I enjoy this style of build the most: (Example: Victorian) I LOVE Victorian Builds, I also enjoy farm hours, log cabins and other woodsy or fantasy type houses.
I really don’t want this in my game: I do not dislike anything – so have fun and do not sweat over any gift making ideas.
I would or would not like lots in the following sizes: (If you’re a fan of tiny lots then here is a great place to mention that! If larger lots make your game lag while loading them, mention that too!) My husband recently got a really nice new computer so I can finally enjoy without worry big builds; so, if you are up for the challenge I would not mind one. With that being said, smaller lots are enjoyable and what I use to always play in. Guess my point is – make whatever you wish.

I want/don’t want pets in the household: (Like cats more than dogs? Like bundles of cute puppies over horses? Don’t want any of them? Mention it!) Are you kidding me – I love my fur babies! Hard to pic my favorite, I will say due to my old trouble with larger lots I have done very little with horses.
Do you want your sims and/or pets skilled up for you? If so, how much? (Example: A couple of points, but not maxed out) This is a matter of you; I am good either way. I will be honest a few points in some of the basics are always nice. The more points I do not have to worry about skilling the more I can explore the rest of the world.
Are there certain skills you want skilled because you really like having them ready when you start with a new sim or household? (Example: A few points in Cooking would be nice so sims don’t burn the waffles and can make more than a mean bowl of cereal!) Cooking of course!

For me as many skill items as you can/are willing to pack in a build the better. I am a heavy gamer and lifelong role-player – So I enjoy Sims and Builds with History. A nice base bio to start a fun story with or maybe he history of a build to add to my game is always nice. Funny thing is I have been checking this site ever few days to see if anything good was going on, then I miss a few days and come back to see this. Talk about cutting it close! I am excited to try a new build! Nervous of course but excited! So bring on the buddy names!
Did a last-minute update to my letter. I thought I needed to put some more specifics in it, but came to the conclusion I don't have any specific requests right now So I added some information on my current saves and maybe it will spark some ideas for my buddy!
So excited to get my buddy name and start brainstorming ideas! I'll be away from home all evening, but I'll probably be obsessively checking on my phone while I'm out
Also, what are folks using for hosting pictures these days? I used to use photobucket, but that's not really an option any more, it seems.
@KaytayRoall: I'm using my own website at weebly.com. I can create a page (which I don't have to publish) and post images to it. Then I can get the direct link to the image and use it where I want. weebly.com is free, and they don't have issues with third party linking.
It's not as straightforward as photobucket was, but I've grown used to it.
