My sims can suddenly use the force «12...Next Go

This started yesterday and continued into today. I was playing one sim in the social media career. I had her doing the task for her job on the computer, but she wasn't typing with her hands while the completion bar built up. It happened again today with more sims in different households. It is also occurring with my teen and child sims when they do their homework. Somehow they are doing their homework without writing in their homework. Yes, they are sitting at a table/desk when this happens.
I grew tired of this occurring so I turned off my game and repaired it. I then went back into my game but there is no change.
I have MC Command Center and two of T-Mex's mods in my game.
Since repairing didn't work I'm wondering if one of the mods is out of date.
Could someone please help me?
I don't know if this is a bug, a general issue, a mod issue, or a technical issue.

My guess is mod. Try pulling the T-Mex mods, delete all your cache files in your Sims 4 folder and see if that helps.

Move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Delete the cache files

Hi. It was a mod. From the look of it, it was one of the mods by T-Mex that I managed to add. I had the lifetimeskills mod and the daywalkers mod.

The one time I manage to find and install a mod that is outside of MC Command Center I find out it's out of date.
Is there an updated version of the daywalkers mod? If so, where can I find it? That's the one I was hoping wasn't the culprit and I would like to replace it if there's an updated version.

The lifetime skills mod may not have been the issue, but that was the one I suspected and I removed it like suggested, after removing the entire folder to see if it was a mod, the issue returned with the mods folder including the daywalker mod back in the sims 4 folder. I just deleted both of those mods.
I don't suspect MC Command Center because I just updated it to 4.1.2
I'll let you know if the issue is still there or not.

I have checked the daywalker mod download site page and there hasn’t been an updated version for quite a while. The patches may have broken it

Okay. I just went back into my game with just MC Command Center installed and the issue is still there. The teen sims are still doing their homework without actually writing on it. Which mod could it be from that one?

Try removing MCCC mod, then launch the game and see if the issue remains.

If the issue remains, try resetting your sims 4 folder, starting a new save game file, and testing to see if it occurs there also . To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated.
Start a new game and test to see if the issue is in that new save game.
Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder

Hi. @rosemow I did exactly what you said to do. Removing everything worked. They no longer use the force to do things. Now I have a brand new issue. I lost everything except the mods. I moved everything back like you said, but when I went into the game it was like it was brand new. How do I get my game back?

Update:
All of my saves are gone. every single thing that I did and had saved is gone. Now what do I do? I can't play because my progress is gone. I'm really upset right now.
I did every single thing you said to do in the way you said to do them. Nothing returned.
Please help.

Did you remove the new “ options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders, then copied back the old folders that had the same name from the sims 4 folder that you placed on the desktop?
Is the sims 4 folder still on your desktop with the folders still in them?

I moved them from the one on the desktop to the desktop then I copied them to the new folder. They overwrote the new ones. Was that wrong?
Yes, the old sims 4 folder is still on my desktop. Yes, the folders are still in them.

I can find my current saves in the saves folder, but they're not appearing in the game. There are no current saves in the game. Just saves from last year and 2016. I forgot I had one that old in there.

I'm sorry if I seem irritable. It's hard to concentrate when I hear Judge Judy in the background. I can't focus on things like this when my mom is watching her. Music blaring through the headphones is calming me down though. I'll be good.

Try “moving” the saves folder that is in your Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 folder to another area of your computer or an external drive.
Then “copy “ the saves folder that is in the sims 4 folder that is on the desktop, and place it in to the Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 folder. Then launch the game and see if your saves appear.

Doing all of this did not fix my original issue. They still do their homework without touching it. I do know that it seems to be fixed when I remove the mods folder. The only thing I have in there is MC Command Center 4.1.2

Now what should I do? I've grown tired of watching the sim children and teens do their homework and everyone using their computers this way.
I suppose I have to wait and hope there will be a fix.

Is the issue still there if you start a new save game, but still have the MCCC mod in the mods folder?

I checked it just now. Yes. The issue is still there in a new game.

MCCC mod shouldn’t be causing the issue.
Try disabling the teens putting away books setting in MCCC and see if that helps
MCCC > MCCC Settings > Gameplay Settings > Put Away Books Fix

That's right. It's not in there when I remove the mod folder which only has the MCCC mod in it.

Perhaps you may like to post on the MCCC mod help thread about this issue. The mod though shouldn’t be causing the issue but there may be a setting that you can alter that may help.

Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Launch the game, and a new mods folder will be generated. Exit the game. Then put the MCCC mod into the newly generated mods folder and test to see if the issues remain. Make sure that there is only one resource.cfg file in the folder
Having the new mods folder may help.

Also try deleting the cache files and see if that helps
