Is There A Mod For This? Thread

If you would like to post a question for a mod for TS2 there are so many knowledgeable people here who can probably tell us if there is or not.

My question today is this one: Is there a mod to make TS2 Sims change into different everyday outfits autonomously? I know about mod that we can just click on them and change their clothes without having to go to a dresser etc. but I would like to have one that makes them wear a different outfit everyday (five outfits etc.) when they get up etc.

    Thanks! Now I know. :)

ETA: Does anyone know where I can find a rotary, black table phone like from the 50's 60's that is updated for all the EPs and SPs installed? And not just decor? :)

    Your welcome.

I don't know about how updated they are, or if it even makes a difference, nothing mentioned it would only work through certain packs, and people are still downloading them as of 2015 so.... I guess you will have to check them out.

There is this one here https://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/details/category/sims2-sets-objects/title/vintage-style-rotary-phone/id/388399/

    There is this one: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=199565

    Both usable. :)

Interesting and certainly useful topic, @Cinebar :+1::)

I'd certainly be interested to know whether there's a mod out there which adds a "Kiss Bite" interaction for Werewolves, so they can spread lycantrophy to their lovers without having to fight them. :3

For sims 3 yes... for sims 2, no. :/ At least not that I could find anywhere. I did find this, buyable potions that will change them. Not really the same, but at least they won't have to fight :#

Hi, today I noticed that when I made my sim instruct another sim in arts and crafts, their creativity skill didn't actually increase. This makes it seem kinda pointless to me. Is there any mod that makes the "instruct in _" interactions make the instructed sim gain skill points in a fitting skill to the topic being instructed?

Well, i don't know if i'm the only one, but let's be honest, i'm tired to see the same premade (The Ottomas, The Crittur, Newson and so one) in the family bin each time i create a custom neighbourhood, and i'm sure that they are tired of being killed over. Do you know if there is a mod/program to prevent them from being created ? I've found some tutorial which explain how to create an empty neighbourhood, but i feel like learning Chinese would be easier than create the said neighbourhood.

I know the sim who is teaching needs to be at a higher level then the sim they are teaching. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, it has been a long time since uing that interaction. I don't believe the skill bar shows when the interaction is done.

A mod no. You just have to kill them off if you don't want them in there. I know there is a method using simPE and the lot debugger, but that is way more work and you really need to know simPE to do it.

The method I used was basically renaming the files that generate them so the game can't find them (which is probably what the clean neighborhood instructions were telling you to do,) and based on that I can tell you that it's not a moddable aspect of the game in terms of "pop something in your downloads folder."

Before that I just sort of ignored them, or made them over and turned them into townies.

You can create an empty template (no families in bin and no townies etc.) if you want to try that and or download one.

Is there a mod to change townie clothes/outfits? I recently got a mod to control townies, and can even make them buy a new outfit but when you take them to the change room thingy, there is nothing in their inventory closet to change in to. I so want to get some of them out of those jogging suits etc. I haven't been well enough lately to play much and run a store to get them to change clothes. thanks for any info!

Most people I heard use this clothing rack to change the townies clothing.

By the way, do you know where i could find a mod to automatically pay bills (as an option) ? I had the option with the iseminator, but the mod is no supported any more (and i have sims blender now). I knew that there were one at SimWardrobe, but the site is down (and knowing that i use by Cyjon's Bigger Bills, i fear that it might not work ...)

The one from SimWardrobe can be found here: http://simfileshare.net/folder/15672/ It is under Objects: Home life improvements. Have no idea if they conflict. Cyjon didn't list it under known conflicts. You can test it out in a testing neighborhood, just in case.

Thanks! I wonder if it conflicts with Numenor and Marylou's coat rack to get clothes for free? Guess I will test it, and if the townie would actually have an outfit in there, since controlling them doesn't actually give them one if you buy one or take them to a dresser. I will let you guys know in the next few days.

I think the only thing I'm really missing is an auto-height adjuster for children and teens like the one Consort made for TS3. I have search high and low, but it doesn't look like anyone has a permanent solution. If anyone hears anything...shout it out.

I'm just going to put this mod here, because ... Wow this is great !
If you played sims 4 parenthood, you know that it's a great GP (well, for those who like it) and this mod add the said GP into the sims 2 ! :o
