I got 9/10. I did not know that you could freeze silk and iron it.
I used Sims 3 to come up with a layout idea for renovations in my house-- involving the laundry room and a useless tiny guest bathroom. Sadly, I'm traveling and don't have access to the images on my desktop, but I do have some pictures of my plans that I posted online. I used Sketchup to do a mockup of the existing space (with rough measurements) and altered the existing space. I couldn't recolor the washer/dryer that I downloaded, but imagine it in Mediterranean blue instead of white.
I meant to add upper cabinets and a table that folds up against the wall on the right, but I didn't have the ability to do so in Sketchup without the proper models. So, this is the rough sketch.
Just for fun, here is a sketch I made for my plumbing code blog that shows how to do the DWV system for a washing machine including notes on code limits.
IPC= International Plumbing Code
UPC= Universal Plumbing Code
IRC= International Residential Code (this is a building code & is applied to both IPC and UPC)
As an aside, if anyone in the US has plumbing questions, let me know. I will do my best to answer, although my replies may be slow.
Quiz: I got 1/10 on the quiz I guess I don't know much about laundry, specially dryers, as I rarely use them (in my country it's more common to use clotheslines instead).
Laundry Room: I decided to build a modern laundry room. This is how it turned out:
Thank you for the giveaway! I've been away from the community for far too long but I'm getting back into things, I am glad to see everyone is still as awesome as they were before!
I got 9 out of 10 on the quiz, I really didn't know most of them, I just guessed what sounded the most logical lol. I'm actually excited for both the laundry day and the adventure one coming up. I hope that's as awesome as world adventures was!
I tried to take the quizz but my phone kept changing pages so here is my laundry room you can find most of my laundry builds with nocc on my gallery page gallery id cimthabestb247
It is very nice of you to do this give away. I didn't vote for this pack, but I have to say it will make a nice addition to the game and has a bunch of really nice items.

I'll try designing a room too, but i only have a washing machine cc lol
Edit: Okay, so here is my laundry room.

To my defense, dryers are not really used in my country. :)
