Pets interacting together?

I'm not sure if this was mentioned during the stream of C&D's or not, but do pets.. interact with each other? I've had several animals in a house before and it seems like they don't interact with one another at all. If not, I'm a bit sad about this. I honestly can't recall if the animals have really interacted with each other in the previous games, but I wish they could. Even to just sniff one another, make run around the house together. I currently have three cats and watching them chase each other around the house is endless fun to me, as is watching them sleeping together or bathing each other. While I know the latter two can be a bit hard to code, I'm sad dogs can't tug'o'war or cats can't chase each other - or even dogs chase cats! I'm curious if there are any mods that would possibly do this, or is that bordering the impossible? If you can't tell, I don't code, I have no idea what's plausible with the games existing code... but yeah! Any thoughts/mods out there?
