CAS not working - help needed!

I hope it's okay for me to post this here, I really need some help. I've been working on a Sim for the past 4+ hours, mainly her appearance and Everyday outfits. Everything was fine until I switched to work on her Formal outfit and was trying to filter the clothes, and then the whole thing bugged out. The controls aren't working properly, and everywhere I click just brings up the filter options. She's not saved to my Library, and it won't let me choose an aspiration so I can. I took a photo of how it looks on my phone so you can see what I mean about the menu being there, so apologies for the bad quality but I really need help on how to fix this without losing my Sim.

Try pressing in the left joystick and see if it stops the UI bugging out. It works for menus that get stuck

Also try pressing the ps4 and or the middle pad thing
