Script mod won't work on pre-patch saves

I've been doing this Bachelorette-type challenge, and I've been using this mod to print out relationship values on the console to determine who gets eliminated. Ever since the relationship hotfix patch, it refuses to work on older saves for me. It works fine for the newer ones, but I can't just start the challenge all over.

I've tried the following to no avail:
- Removing the mods folder, booting the game, and putting the mods back
- Using save as to generate a new file using the current data

Has anyone had any experience with this?

On the site, the mod creator has written this

upd. Nov 18. 2017. The mod doesn't seem to work with Cats and Dogs. I hope to fix and update it in early December, please stay tuned and thanks for your patience.
