Sim Game Select & Steam

Is there any way to get Sim Game Select to work with a Steam install? From what I've googled, Steam installs the game to a place SGS doesn't recognize. You have to change the registry for CAW to work. Why won't changing the registry make SGS work or is there another way to get it to work?

I've never used SGS, so I can't really say. But I'm having a similar problem not being able to run EasyCASP Editor, as are other Steam players. It seems to be more of a .NET thing and the way these programs are set up than something a Registry edit can fix.

Ok thank you. I suppose I will have to adjust to all my packs being enabled on the Steam install.
