I was thinking the next gp might be a romantic one but now I'm beginning to wonder if it could be cars after what looks like parking spaces being shown in this picture.
I think a tropical vacation pack is next. A romantic game pack could also happen for a Valentines Day release, but as these tropical icons have been found and that there are a lot of ads for tropical vacations all over San Myshuno, a tropical GP is probable.
That would be awesome but they generally release tropical stuff in Summer so I thing the next GP will be something else. I expect 2 in 2018.
I think vacation stuff should wait until after season stuff, although I like vacation spots
I hope it will be more supernaturals though since they are by far my favorite thing to play with in the sims.
I really hope we get a tropical vacation gp or maybe a casino! I want somewhere to go on honeymoons  Granite Falls is beautiful but not really ideal for newlyweds unless they’re super outdoorsy.
I think Maxis has be on point for the last few eps and packs, so here's hoping they continue on the same path.
I just hope they don't ...
Make a Heroes and Villains pack.
There's no crime, so what would be the point? And this is not an action game.
Make a Disasters pack.
If all this means is we get to repair every broken object in the house then it's just an annoyance.
Disasters would need to come in the form of a challenge, with new game play features, to grab my attention.
I don’t think the pack will be anything related to something we already have. Like I don’t think it will be a pet add-on pack or a supernatural add-on pack. I think it will be something new.
I say this because all of the game packs we currently have added totally new elements and features to the game and didn’t just flesh upon what we already have.
I don't really see the point in cars being a pack. All they would do Is sit on your driveway or in a garage. The game is full of loading screens so I think spending time doing a car pack would be a waste. Id much rather have them put more effort into something that would add gameplay and more depth. Romance interactions need a lot of work as do general interactions. A lot is still missing, the whole point of buying the next gen is to upgrade. CAS and build mode as amazing but there's just not enough gameplay. We need new stuff that's not been done before in the sims.
Hm a romantic game pack would be really nice. Having more romantic interactions is always nice. What I want too is a Witch/Sorcerer GP. I want too make Witch and Whizard Sims and doing magical tricks and stuff. And a new Vacation Spot for our Sims a tropical one with beaches too explore. Granite Falls is nice but a bit boring after some time.
I think seasons and university is in the making but it won't be the next ep. i think the next ep could possibility be a vacation pack and the next game pack could be something like hobbies like working on cars, new games, sports, knitting etc.

I think Seasons is the Next EP. We have Autumn Trees,Turtlenecks and Coats in Cats and Dogs.
I think it would make the most sense to have seasons be a free game update (like toddlers were) then follow it up with a game pack containing a new festival lot that you could place in any neighborhood that would work like it did in sims 3. The new collectibles could be things like butterfly & easter egg collecting (spring), seashell collecting (summer), fall leaf collecting (fall). New recipes - pumpkin pie, peppermint hot chocolate, baked ham. Activites - snowman making, ice sculpting, igloos, snowboarding rink, bobbing for apples, haunted house, raking leaves, mini golf, tennis, badminton, marco polo in the pool, pool slides, tanning booths, flying kites, croquet set (sorry if i spelled that wrong), ring toss for the kids, sandboxes for toddlers and kids. Kiddie pools for toddlers. I have so many ideas!
I want seasons next but would love a supernatural expansion next fall. The new skill would be magic ability. The new activites would include craftables such as candles (that would affect every sim in the room with the lit candle which would last 3 sim hours) and spells/potions (which affect only the target sim/lot). I have a ton of great ideas for the effects the candles could have. You could craft a pink heart candle which when lit would make every sim in that room glow pink and become flirty. Flirty interactions would have a 50% more likely success chance. Or for mischief a yellow egg shaped candle called "The Curse of Charles" (that's a reference to the evil chicken from Sims 3) that would make all sims glow yellow and every time they go to talk you hear chicken sounds instead of simlish and every so often sims would shed a rare collectible cursed chicken feather that you could add to your feather collection from Pets expansion.
In addition to my last comment here are some more of my potion ideas for a possible witchy/supernatural expansion. Please like this post if you like my ideas so gurus will notice it. Green Potion - "Green Thumb" Elixir (lasts 3 hrs) Sim glows green and any plant they water/weed/harvest instantly evolves one level up in quality. White Potion - "Tidy Pixies" Elixir - Thrown on floor and animation of sparkly dots appear on objects - all dirty objects on lot are instantly cleaned. Purple Potion - "Mega Muse" Elixir - Sim glows purple and is very inspired and any painting/craftable that they make while glowing is automatically a masterpiece/highest quality regardless of skill level.
I really hope it's either a tropical beach GP (I've been waiting for a proper beach world since launch. Windenburg and (soon) Brindleton Bay have beaches but the climate doesn't look so warm/tropical and sims cannot swim in the ocean) or a cars GP (maybe with other vehicles too, like bikes and motorcycles). I really hope it's not a supernatural GP as I'm not a fan of supernaturals and the last one was just 2 GPs ago.

Supernatural could be done in a Gamepack rather then an Expansion.

I don't think they would make supernatural a gamepack. It is much more likely that they would single out a single supernatural element to focus on in a game pack (such as witches or wizards), or perhaps focus on two supernatural creatures that have slightly less gameplay (Werewolves and faeries could be grouped together).
The vampire gamepack was filled with a lot of content for vampires and the vampires benefited from it. They could easily do something similar with witches and wizards changing the perks system to a spell learning system. They could even use elements from the sims medieval for leaning new spells with elements.
For me, however, I would want a romantic style gamepack as I believe that the sims 4 needs new romantic options (and not just a new wohoo spot). The gamepack could include a new island destination vacation which would be ideal for romance. To give content to children, they could also add childhood crushes and holding hands + spreading "cooties." Of course being a island, they could also add sandcastle building which even toddlers could engage in. Finally if we were lucky, they could include ocean swimming in the pre-patch. Of course I don't know how the previous worlds are built, and so they may have to restrict it to the new island destination which would be unfortunate.
Finally as much as I want seasons, I definitely think it should be an EP and not a GP. Seasons could add a lot of fun gameplay and I don't want it to be limited by the budget constraints of a GP. For example, in seasons it would be great to have a variety of seasonal family activities (like in the previous two games) but this time make some that are available to toddlers (maybe have the parents pick up the toddlers to help put on the face of the snowman like in the sims 1 when children made snowman). Furthermore, they could create a in-depth holiday system where people would be able to create their own holiday (like with clubs)
