Lucky and Unlucky traits

The Sims 4 has a quite a lot of traits, but still not as much as in The Sims 3. Some of the traits are shallow and don't do anything to the Sims personality, while some of the traits do. The traits are also quite varied, but there are still a lot of "basic" traits that you would think this game would have, when you hear the word "trait". Two traits that I think are pretty basic are Lucky and Unlucky. Here's my ideas for these two traits.

Lucky
Description:
These Sims are followed through life with a comforting sense of luck. They can find random coins on the ground, never break objects or catch on fire, and generally succeed at living. They win often and they win big.

Conflicts with: Unlucky

Available for children and older.

Attributes:
  • If a Sim with this trait sleeps four or more hours, they will wake up with a happy "Feeling Lucky" moodlet.
  • These Sims can randomly find coins on the ground. (Similarly to the "Penny Pixies" lot trait, but it happens everywhere.)
  • These Sims are more likely to gain work/school performance.
  • These Sims are more likely to get raised at their jobs.
  • Objects owned by lucky Sims break less often, or never.
  • Lucky Sims will usually win fights.
  • These Sims are less likely to catch on fire, or start one.
  • Books that are written by Lucky Sims will usually succeed.
  • Lucky Sims have a high change of randomly succeeding at singing karaoke in karaoke contests, and win it, even if they're low at the singing skill.
  • They are usually never robbed by burglars (if they are ever added).
  • They are more likely to win at playing against video game console games with other Sims.
  • These Sims are more likely to win at video gaming tournaments.
  • Lucky Sims have high chances to win the Hackathon or Ultimate Gaming Test at the Geekcon festival.

Unlucky
Description:
Things rarely go right for unlucky Sims. They often lose at everything they do, and life is generally very dangerous for them.

Conflicts with: Lucky

Available for children and older.

Attributes:
  • If a Sim with this trait sleeps four or more hours, they will wake up with a sad "Feeling Unlucky" moodlet. Whilst under the influence of the "Feeling Unlucky" moodlet, Sims are more likely to lose games, burn food and cause fires.
  • Unlucky Sims have high chances to die from fire, electrocution, emotional deaths, etc.
    • If an unlucky Sim dies, the Grim Reaper will some times point and laugh at their misfortune, and then resurrect them. However, unlike in The Sims 3, unlucky Sims can still die from unnatural causes.
  • Random Sims will laugh at unlucky Sims, and give the unlucky Sim a sad "Laughing At Me" moodlet.
    • Sims who alongside the unlucky trait also have the hot-headed trait, will gain an angry moodlet instead of a sad one.
  • These Sims have high chances to lose work/school performance.
  • They have very high chances to fail at work and be demoted or fired.
  • Unlucky Sims will always lose fights, unless the opposing Sim also has the unlucky trait.
  • They will often break objects more than normal Sims.
  • Unlucky Sims have a very high chance to start a fire when cooking and die from it.
  • They are more likely to be robbed by burglars (if they are ever added).
  • They will fail at rocket ship landings more than normal Sims.
  • These Sims will always lose at karaoke contests even if they have a high singing skill.
  • Unlucky Sims will often lose at Hackathon and Ultimate Gaming Tests in the Geekcon festival.
  • These Sims will always lose at gaming tournaments.
  • They will always fail at lighting fireworks and have a chance to start a fire, even outside.
  • Books that are written by unlucky Sims will usually fail.

    Some corrections:
    1) There is no such thing as death by rocket ship. Rocket ship crash can make sim burn, leading to death by fire. (Why SimsVIP, why?)
    2) Unlucky sims in The Sims 3 can only die by old age and while scuba diving. So the statement that Unlucky sims cannot die is false. They just get brought back to life when they die by unnatural causes.

Could you imagine a clumsy, unlucky, hotheaded Sim? That would be fun.
