I have a Unicorn named Anastasia who is Quiet, Fast, and Agile (and being a Unicorn, is Level 10 in Running and Jumping). My Sim, Ariella, is her BFF and has level 10 in Jockey.
No matter how awesome their needs and moods are, I cannot win an international race. I came in second once. Is this entirely luck based? I have never had any luck with Go For Broke or Take Risks. They don't seem to do anything. They reach 3rd place just as quickly in Steady Pace and then are simply frozen in that spot for the rest of the race.
Does anyone have any tips? Are there other traits the two should have? I already have Anastasia's skill rewards where she no longer gets fatigued when training for racing or jumping and she gets the positive moodlet when running with the wind. (She's done 250 perfect jumps and has trained for 15 hours and galloped 20,000 meters)
