Could there be an 80s themed SP in the works?

With the last patch we were given several nautical/New England themed objects that look like they fit the aesthetic of Brindleton Bay. However, most of the object names are plays on 80s song titles..

Do you think these are hints? I think they could be.

Well, either that or the description writer was listening to an 80s playlist at work.

I would love an 80's SP, although part of me thinks this is just someone having fun with the object names.

I'd be more interested in a 60s/70s pack. Maybe it's because those were my teen/young adult years when everything was still an adventure, or maybe the cars... Chevelle SS 454 anyone?

Um...I hope not. I don’t need more sims dressing in hideous clothes and having over the top hairstyles. Honestly the only good thing from the 80s was the music imo.

I've been obsessed with Stranger Things and It lately, so I wouldn't be opposed to an 80's-themed stuff pack.

Some things from 60s/70s to get imaginations rolling: the Beetles, Linda Ronstadt, hippies, more stuff for the protesters in San Myshuno to complain about, cool cars, phones that had wires attached, bell-bottoms (already have the skirts), Ed Sullivan for the TVs, a new music station

idk what style I would really like in TS4... I feel like we have a lot of bohemian stuff, Asian inspired stuff and even some 90s stuff.

I mean like If we were to get a SuperStar GP or EP or whatever I would like stuff a bit more over the top. To create celebrities that will stand out. Just as long generated sims won’t go all crazy again and start wearing the craziest things without even matching them. I mean after CL we don’t need more craziness.

I would love some 70s and 80s stuff. I sometimes like to dress my sims in outrageous outfits and nothing screams outrageous for me quite like the 80s. Heck, I thought 80s fashion was horrible in the 80s too. I love 70s fashion, but I would be happy if there was a pack similar to the 70s,80s,90s pack where there were a few decades combined.

I hope they don't forget the table top, black, rotary dial phones. And kitchen curtains. I'm not up for the 'big hair' from the '80s but I would like a 1960-1970 pack. And I don't mean more mini skirts. ETA: Better yet, they could start churning out "decades" stuff packs for all to enjoy..1920's 1930's etc. Fashion drastically changed every decade and so did culture and decor.

For me Vintage Glamour is the stuff that you're asking.

I like Cinebar's idea. Maybe even go back to the prior turn of the century, and walk it through decade by decade. Would make for an interesting and varied game. Even the music and video options could benefit. Glenn Miller on our sim radios, classic silent flicks for movie night - maybe some Laurel & Hardy or even the Stooges...

I love 80s music but an 80s themed stuff pack isnt my cup of tea. I wasnt a fan of that 70s 80s & 90s sims 3 stuff pack.

I feel like we wouldn't get a SP that focuses on a certain decade, but rather a random theme with objects and clothes inspired by a certain era like Vintage Glamour and Bowling (kinda Movie Hangout, too). An 80's theme would've went really well with fitness stuff I think.
