    I talked to my parents a couple months ago- sometime between May and July- about getting a new laptop, but my mom didn't want to hear it. After another month or so, my computer started telling me my battery needed to be replaced and had a website listed in the info but I can't go to it. I tried. I told my parents this and my mother told me that there's a possibility that I might get a new laptop for Christmas! I'm kind of hoping she and my dad follow through (but I don't say it out-loud) since the laptop I currently have is now 7 years old and is in need of replacement.
