Can't sign in here - on my profile page

I'm signed in, that's how I'm posting this, but when I click on my username at the top of the page to view my profile, it signs me out - I'm not signed in on my profile page, and no matter how many times I click sign in it won't do it.

I don't get it; how can I be signed in on the forums but not on my own profile?

Can anyone help with this? I can't edit my profile at all.

You may need to sign out of the forums, then sign back in again and see if that helps.
You could also go to https://www.thesims.com and make sure that you are signed in on the top right hand side of the page.

I've tried it with being both signed in and out on thesims.com - made no difference.

Also, while I'm signed in on the forums I cannot signed out; I took a screenshot:

Try shutting down your computer completely. Then restart the computer and see if the issue remains.

My computer has been behaving slightly strangely for the last couple of days - the fan going when doing light browsing, Norton antivirus wouldn't open as usual until I forced it to run as administrator - I'm doing a full scan just in case there's anything that could be responsible though I doubt that's the case.

Problem solved! I don't know how but I just went on my profile again and it's fine.
