There's no this alert while playing and saving but I get this when I click 'exit' game after saving. It happens 5 out of 10 times. Is that only me get this? Mo mod, and only 1 skintones of kijiko is all cc I have.
Hello
Other simmers also are having this issue, and have been posting about it. The game still saves beforehand, but then when you have finished saving, and then go to exit the game, the issue takes place. I am sorry that you are having this occur in your game also.
@Jeansoo Here one idea I would like someone to try. I allow myself to play and save and exit the game about 4 times. Then reboot the computer or laptop. It seems to not crash on exiting as much in my experience. Just need more people to try my idea and see if my idea has a flaw. I just hope this issue gets fixed before Sims cats and dogs gets released.

Short term plays doesn't get this issue in my experience. Usually I play more at night time, I have this after long time play about 4-5 hrs straight. Not sure I understood your point though.

What are your computer specs? If your playing that long it could also be a sign of your computer shutting down if it is overheating or crashing.
I have this issue too and in my case, it's not the computer. I have it about half the time and so far I don't know what causes the crash on exit. Sometimes it also completely freezes my computer, then I have to restart it to regain control.
I thought it was my computer and not the game. So yes I have this issue too. I hope it doesn't break anything.

My computer spec:

I think my spec is enough for the sims 3 and 4.
Your only problem is your hard drive is very small. You need to leave at least 50 gb free space just for the sims 3. Your hard drive will keep getting used up as you add more to the sims 4. Just make sure you keep at least 50 gb free space at all times. If your hard drive gets to low the sims 3 may stop running
@phoebebebe13 Yes I wanted to get more SSD but this 270 GB was the maximum was supported on this laptop. I couldn't get the desktop as I plan to live here in overseas only for 2 years and back to my home town.
@Jeansoo Just keep an eye on it so it does not get too low. If you fill up your hard drive it will run slower. If you can, get an external hard drive or Usb flash drive and store things there you don't need on your computer. I have a 256 gb ssd plus a 1tb. My 256 gb ssd gets used up quickly. I only use the ssd for the sims 3 with windows. I transfer files to my 1tb hard drive for safe keeping.
@phoebebebe13 Thanks I have Sims 3 and Sims 4 installed, and photoshop but I'm going to delete this. I don't have any videos or picture piles on my laptop, so there's nothing to move to external hard drive or 1 TB HDD in my laptop. Yes I wish I can upgrade 270 up to 512 GBs. I heard there is a free software which I can have a look what contents are filled up on my C drive. I forgot the name, maybe do you know this?

@Jeansoo I meant even the game files. I use save as on the sims 3. I have many back up saves. I keep them on another hard drive for safe keeping along with cc files , screenshots etc.

Honestly all you need to do is look at everything installed on your pc and find out if you want to keep the stuff or uninstall it.
I really like this program https://www.slimwareutilities.com/slimcleaner.php
If you go to the software tab it will tell you everything that is installed and will also give you information on each program and tell you if it's safe or not.
The optimize is also good as it lists everything that is running on startup and gives details also. it does also have a disc analyzer so you can see what is using the most space. Best of all it's a free program
The disc analyzer is located in the disk tools tab.
@chesterbigbird, wow! I downloaded your link and it's amazing! I optimized my all SSD and it even opens Register Edit straightaway and access to control panel easier. I love this!! Thanks for the excellent free software. Now Half of whole ssd is free of space. Usually, I've been a bit afraid of getting any malware with installing free stuff.

@james64468, yes it happens about 5 or 6 times out of 10. Not every time but still have it around half and half.
